If you want to watch a preview of what to expect in the testing I found this informative video (rather short compared to all the rest I have viewed) and what the cars that were previewed should have changed during the testing.

Too early, next week we will have tests and cars will have new stuff onboard, new wings are never seen yet.

The teams usually uses fake wings for example on presentations to keep their secrets till the last moment possible.
Yes that is why I said we should have a closer look of what to expect in this season's cars then they can evaluate during testing what needs to stay and what gets thrown out. Maybe those Ferrari wings since they copied Mercedes and they got fined for it.

This overview is more to the teams and what the general things on the cars would look like such as the color matching and sponsorships:

Sort of funny to see the marketing Alfa Romeo did during their welcome message by the drivers in a video posted on their media team's page.

Yup, most of the eps we are waiting.

Same in 2020 when Romain Grosjean can get out of the fire while he loses his consciousness for around 1-2 mins it's crazy he can survive from that. Same like Zhou, I can't believe the "HALO" still can hold that impact while I was thinking it can be broken.
---
It's completed now, "DTS" are gonna launch and all the teams already launch the cars. A nice news during this month!
That is one of the most anticipated stories for sure. For the viewers, what we got was how the crash happened, and then we saw him go hit the wall so hard, and then we saw him talking easily maybe like 30 minutes later at tops?

This means he got even checked out there, and then let go because he then left to hospital for further checks of course but he was literally uninjured and normal 30 minutes after, we saw that. I wonder what happened inside that 30 minutes, I want to know how they got to him and how they got him out and what did he do? Same with Romain Grosjean, that dude walked away from death itself, both of them looked like certain deaths unless there are so many hardcore safety precautions.

This week will be an eventful one, starting from the new seasons of DTS to the Bahrain testing. Loved the Ferrari launch, it was definitely a step above everyone else this year.

Hopefully the F1 streaming app will get a proper upgrade this year as well.

The new season is about to begin and even on Clubhouse.tv during their livestream of EPL football the jockeys were hyped about the F1 2023 season. Mentioning about it's start the cars will go through in a few days from now with testing at the track at Sakhir.
Then a week later the new season will commence in Bahrain.
Here is the testing and planned schedule for the 2023 season of F1:

Such as the red bull car that was unveiled in New York the past week was actually the 2022 seasons with slight changes.
But during testing they should have a much different looking car out there instead.

Drive to survive new season will give insight that we desire so much. First of all, what happened with Ferrari and why they were so bad, I really wonder that because the car was good and the drivers were good but the team was not and made so many mistakes which cost them a lot of points, maybe we will get to see why?

Secondly what happened with Mercedes and their terrible car? Like they realized it how early? And what did they do to fix it? Because by the end they were much better.

The drama of Dany getting fired from Mclaren and how that was done? There are so many things that could be answered by this one, it is going to be something much better because it was a drama filled season, and not just the races, races were boring, what happened behind the scenes is the real deal for this season.

I've just read that the new season of "Drive to survive" will be going live from February 24.
I don't know if the launch date was announced earlier, if so I've gracefully missed it.
-snip-
Yes correct.

It's already being shared on "Netflix" at that time the series want to be release (1-2 weeks before the launch date is coming). I think people are looking forward for "Drive to survive", since they can bring back max into the seat again.
They had the final trailer earlier today and it does make it out to be better than all the rest of them.

With the huge crash of Zhou Guanyu being highlighted, I had forgotten how impactful it was but just seeing it in this trailer makes you relive that moment.

#TifosiDay.

How are you guys? did anyone already seen SF-23 Launch Cars from Ferarri. Love how they launch the cars, because not only show the cars but actually used them on the track a little bit differently that other teams.

Did you optimize, we're gonna see a different team work from Ferrari?
- New team principal
- Some change on team strategy
- Media say, pit crew from Ferarri is training 1000x times ~LOL
- Charles is single, and can focus on the race ~LOL.

Well maybe I am just a theory lover or something like that, but to be fair, we could see the situation they are in as if SB getting potentially a place in HAAS? Or maybe they already did, or maybe they just won't because if it was we would have seen it in the new car.

I do not know what sportsbet.io is waiting for, f1 is a big growing sports, it was super famous 20 or so years ago, a bit earlier I guess, then for about 10 years or so it had a declining interest, and then Liberty took over and it is gaining attention again. We all love sportsbet.io, they are an amazing place to gamble, and to see them in a team would definitely make me fan of that team and then some!

Both can be legends in their own right.
No denying this to be true! Wink

As for the Formula 1 season it is looking like we might have another pool coming up but nothing finalized yet.
Have your say to encourage Sportsbet/Steve that we do at the Sportsbet.io F1 prediction pool for the forum below:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61747427

And yeah @NeuroticFish & @dezoel saw the Alfa Romeo out on the track Friday from their official twitter page.
Great to see those new cars having a spin, even if they are not testing on the track yet, no matter who they sponsored by.

Gets your juices flowing for anyone who is a gearhead coming out of hibernation.

Hi guys,

Look who I ran into in London? Smiley

Top guy, was more than happy to have a chat and answer some questions. Lots of people took photos with him and he signed some autographs!

Have any of you ran into and F1 legends recently?

Last one before this was Bottas, met him in Helsinki, Finland when he was doing a watch sponsorship night for Williams!

best of luck,

regards,

Steve.

What a legend.... im talking about Steve or Guenther? We have to say two legends.

Im dreaming so much or we can see a SB sponsored car in F1 in not so much time?

I remember one time when you talked about it, or maybe my memory its bad.

Stake at Alfa Romeo? That should be something promoted all over, it's one of the biggest deals ever. I am sure there are some incentives like positions each race, positions by the end of the season and all of that, there must be bunch of things, so it can't be straight up 33 million a year, but there must be a very high guarantee.

I wouldn't be shocked to learn that this amount is the highest amount of sponsorship they have ever done, all those UFC and football aside, this looks like the biggest amount I have ever seen. They should start promoting that a lot, if I learned about this here, that means they are not doing it right and not promoting it enough.

Slava Ukraini!

Overally, I don't expect many changes. Last year, F1 ground effect cars have been introduced, which were quite different from previous year's cars to reduce dirty air. So, we won't have any of such changes now.
Maybe we will see some sidepod design changes but not much else.
For comparison: from 2021 to 2022 season, cars were changed a lot, including completely different front and back wings, bargeboards were removed and sidepod design was different. In addition to floor design changes of course, since 2022 season cars were changed to ground effect cars.
Yeah, in 2022 it was new generation cars, so changes were huge. This season we can only expect to see some minor changes, like sidepods. But I think that none of teams haven't showed yet same design of cars how it will look on the track.

That's nice. Steiner looks like one of the most charismatic persononalities in F1, it would be very interestingto chat with him. I didn't had chance to meet F1 stars face to face, in past I saw David Coulthard in Red Bull Showrun event in Vilnius.

Yep, Stake did very good. Their name is in team name and it's also all over the car, one cannot miss it.
There was a news in December I think. A lot of crypto companies have left Formula 1, leaving money problems here and there too iirc. It was not only FTX, I think the list had 3 or 4 companies at least (3 were easy to remember: FTX/Merc, Velas/Ferrari, Tezos/RBR, but I think that there were more). I feared crypto.com would do the same. So saying "crypto" now in Formula 1 is a bit sensitive.

And about Sportsbet, I don't know, all eyes seem to be on Piastri, but it can be a risky bet. Still, did anybody check how it would Sportsbet.io logo look on papaya orange? Cheesy (I've seen it on so many colors, so why not?)
Previous season was terrible for crypto business and F1 partnership. I also remember that Mlcaren terminated their contract with Bitci.com exchange before start of 2022 season. So, yeah, crypto now is sensitive word there.
Now trying to imagine Sportsbet logo on orange Mlcaren car. I think it wouldn't look bad. But judging from post above, now we can expect to see their logo on Haas car Cheesy.

Few days ago we discussed about potentially having Sportsbet logo on F1 car. And today watching Alfa Romeo launch, I noticed Stake logo on their car. They become name sponsors of team, deal worth $100 million in 3 years. Interesting part that they haven't even mentioned word crypto in whole their press release.

I see that two legends came together in one shot. Smiley There is a very little time left for the new F1 season to begin. I hope we witness a more competitive season this year. Guenther Steiner has gained the sympathy of all F1 fans thanks to the effect of the documentaries on Netflix. Let's see what Haas will be able to do this year. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to encounter any F1 legend so far. I hope some day I can encounter with Sebastian Vettel and take a selfie with him.
