Fuck NFTs, not everything needed to be NFTs. Let's the sport going as usual.

It's Redbull gaming ~XD

IMO, Perez is gonna break or fight against team orders. In-some races the team control asked him to switch with Max Verstappen and he was not really happy with that asking for some more discussion. We all know, how Perez performance even before joining Redbull he was really incredible on "Racing Points" from Last to 1st. Also a good performance on 2021, he was a world champion potential.

If he keep following team order, I'm 100% sure he will ended like Bottas.

Perez is no longer happy. It was visible when he was on the podium. It's always possible that Redbull will be P1 P2... but that P1 will never be Perez's unless it's a mishap, fine, or malfunction. Unfortunately, Perez's fate is similar to Bottas, Webber and Barichello's fate. If you become a teammate with a great talent, you have to accept to be the 2nd finish. I don't think he is a pilot who will ever be the 1st pilot of a top team. There are 2 things that pilots like Sainz, perez and bottas can do;
1- Being the 1st pilot of the middle rank teams and making surprise podiums
2- Being in the first 3 teams and being the 2nd pilot
I think the first one is better than the other.

While he is very talented, we should still not forget that not long ago he was extremely close to leave Formula1, maybe for good.
Yes, it's frustrating when you don't get any chance to win the races, still, he has a very good car (lately may be the very best car in F1) and, if you compare the chances between Max not ending the race and a place 4+ team winning the race... the odds are pretty much similar.
So if he only focuses to his team mate, yes, it's disappointing. If he compares to all the pilots, hey, he's the second pilot in F1 2022, which is not too shabby.

And since you've mentioned Bottas and Co, I don't know if you guys have noticed the games of the fate: the two DNF cars were the old team mates - Lewis and Valtteri...

There used to be an f1 manager type of game in NFT world where you would pay 300-500 dollars to get cars (nft) and then drivers (again nft) and so forth many other things, hell even gloves, and you would race and if you win the race then you would get tokens etc and kept up like that. As we all know that crashed and burned because there wasn't enough marketing for it and there were like 10 people racing by the end so the team didn't continue.

This time around I feel like if Liberty Media and F1 end up doing a huge marketing for it, we could totally see NFT of the Formula world and any type of game would make a ton of money. We already got f1 manager game on steam, so the base is already there for a game to be made.

If they continue with this form and car, it will be a similar situation to Vettel in 2011-2013 and Hamilton in 2020. One domination ends another one begins. What an amazing sport.

Let's see then.

I think gonna give this podium for Max even my self is fans of ferarri. Based on the SPA RACE, we Ferarri fans already give up due another blunder strategy again from team stats made Leclrec enter a pitstop a few times ~LOL for chasing the fastest lap make he got a penalty.

Give this race for Max, but please give monza for Lecrlec. Even we're not a championship this year but winning in home Italy ~XD

It is another beautiful race for Verstappen. It's his home Grand Prix above all else. We must be remembering how he dominated the Dutch GP last season. He finished the race 20.9 seconds ahead of Hamilton.

This week his biggest opponent would be Leclerc I assume. I'm putting it this way because I really don't trust Ferrari at all. I'm fed up with their mistakes so far and I'm afraid of the possibility that they can cause Leclerc's race to end early here also. I don't give much chance to Leclerc about winning here as long as Verstappen doesn't have any issue with his car. But at least Leclerc can have a decent race finally after a long break. Ferrari were criticised about their actions in the previous race too. They can't even decide what tyre to give him when. I really feel sorry for Leclerc about this season.

More and more cryptography penetrates into the classical spheres.  Smiley
So F1 is also not far behind here, on the contrary, it is ahead of many others.

Formula One Files Trademarks Related to NFTs and Crypto
Racing behemoth Formula One has filed two trademarks related to non-fungible tokens and crypto for the Las Vegas Grand Prix event, which is expected to take place in November 2023.
As per the filings, Formula One plans to offer virtual goods in the form of sporting equipment, virtual clothing, headphones, lanyards, souvenirs, keyrings, digital art, jewelry, sculptures, and other items.......
Heard about the trademark filing for Formula 1 earlier in the week. And I directly thought about their sponsorship with crypto.com signage for almost all tracks during the season.
They have a multi year deal with the company so wonder if they will still have them as a sponsor after these get approved.

Argentine representative on gambling board
A really step up for Red Bull Racing, but one thing i cant understand, how Ferrari can do all bad, its incredible, they have a car 1 second faster than Mercedes but its so bad in the set-up that they keep feelinf Mercedes breath behind the neck.

Alpine also make a step ahead in the middlefield.

I was on the road last weekend, but I've managed to finally watch a rerun of the race.
What a huge difference between RBR and the other cars...
What a complete lack of vision and strategy at Ferrari...

Again, the top team was boring to watch for more than half of the race. I don't like that, never did.   Sad
On the other hand... I'm kinda tempted to bet on the next race  Grin

It's just domination by Red Bull says, Sainz

https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/sainz-red-bull-in-a-league-of-their-own-in-f1-belgian-gp/10359686/

At one point Max had mediums and was still faster than Charles who was on softs. That should be telling you the difference. I am finally glad that we do not have Mercedes domination, it is always boring to have one team to keep on winning every year, and finish the races 30+ seconds ahead of everyone, that is not good for the sport. But right now, we moved from Mercedes domination to Red Bull domination and this wasn't what I wanted neither.
They just figured out how to win every time. Having a phenomenal driver is one thing and having big funds would always be a factor as well. That's just how F1 works, really.

I just want a period where 4-5 teams and 6-7 different drivers at least have wins, and 3 drivers are racing for a title very close to each other all from different teams, number 1 drivers of 3 different teams. Is that so much to ask, will we ever see that?
That's just how it's going to be when you are dominating. I think it's not a problem at all that there is domination. Look at other sports, there are always going to be teams that are going to be in favor to always win in matchups. It's always going to be like that. If you have found a formula to winning, don't you think it's going to be hammered continuously to win? That's the goal of every team.

I assume that this podium is the summary of this race.

Red Bull were dominant during the whole race and the result wasn't surprising at all after that. Verstappen gained many positions at the beginning of the race already. But even if he didn't his pace was so high that he would still win the race. It looks like I was unnecessarily positive about Sainz to win this.  Cheesy  I just didn't expect Ferraris to stay this much slow. Leclerc had some problems in this race also which didn't surprise me even a bit. Sainz was the only hope but he was even struggling to stay ahead of Russell in the last moments. What a horrible race for Ferrari!

Perhaps this is the most depressing race for all the competitors of Red Bull. Verstappen started in 14th place and won by such a huge margin. It seems that at this point the season can be considered completed. The competitors have had enough time to improve their level but it seems that Red Bull has stepped up and the rest have not been able to achieve anything. Now, even if competitors make some improvements, it is impossible to win back such an advantage (in terms of points and technical superiority).

I actually almost wanted to leave either Sainz or Hamilton out, in the end kept them both in but redeemed myself with backing Verstappen against my gut. Thought it was over actually when he started in 14th but RB just seem to have found the formula to F1 this season and aren't letting go. Think it's time to give up on Ferrari really.

Jesus alot of action within the first lap in Spa! What a start of a race.
Lewis went airborne and damaged the underneath of his car and is out.
Bottas got tapped by Latifi and got stuck in the gravel spinning his tires and determined to be out.

Can't see who will finish this race to win it having all that has happened within the first lap.

Therefore, we have quotes that are very different from quotes in previous races, but at the same time, Verstappen, starting from 14th place, is still a favorite even in relation to Sainz, who will start first. It seems absurd to me, despite the fact that Verstappen won the qualification by a wide margin from everyone else.
Checking the gap between Sainz and Verstappen is quite close but still big in terms of F1 races. A 0.632 gap form him is large. Imagine being to be consistent on those laps. Verstappen can really manage to get back in the top spots in no time. The recent race even him starting in 10th position and still winning is quite a feat as well.

Check this out, Russel says that Verstappen can win this sunday.

So I think Sainz's 3.10 odd is tempting to place a bet. Maybe even Hamilton could be given a chance at 13.00 but it seems really hard for him. Mercedes drivers weren't too impressive in qualifying session. However technically Hamilton is more advantageous than even Verstappen for now as he is starting at upper positions.  Grin
The odds are really attractive on this one. It's just that Mercedes are having a hard time figuring out the problem. Imagine them being 7th and 8th fastest on the qualifying and made it to the front just because of the penalties, it's quite unsettling though. +1.838 seconds is a really big gap.

Still with the way the qualifications turned out I am going with Max Verstappen to get the in win.
He will just have to pull a Hamilton in tomorrow's race starting out 14 places from the front.
It should make for a thrilling one with all shuffling of spots during the race.

Some of these odds are really unfair to me. Because Verstappen has a really difficult job actually as he is starting from way back of the grid. But he is the most favoured driver to win the Belgian GP. I would rather seeing Sainz in his place as he is the most likely driver to win the race in normal conditions. Verstappen can reach podium in fact but it is hard to wait for more than that. He might need even safety cars to make it to top somehow. And he might need Ferrari's help by making bad decisions also.  Grin
