I believe that Oscar Piastri had one of the best rookie seasons for sure, however that also causes a little bit of a problem for the team at the same time. Team does like Piastri, him coming here was a whole problem as you may know because it was an issue with another team I forgot which team but that team claimed they had the rights for Piastri and eventually it happened and he is there and that's fine.
The problem they may have is that Piastri is awesome right now, and Lando Norris may feel quite upset about it, not because piastri is great, but he has shown the world how Norris isn't all that much of a big deal, given enough good cars then even Piastri as a rookie did fine, Norris been there for many many years since he was a kid, and he is still having hard time beating Piastri. That's an issue, Norris may feel depressed that he is not dominating a rookie teammate, and if the next season starts with Piastri doing better, that's going to be quite terrible for Norris.

I feel kind of the opposite regarding Verstappen and Perez. At the end of the day, they have the same car, and Perez is pretty much always quite far behind Verstappen. Of course each one setup their cars differently according to their driving styles, but this said, it looks like that either Verstappen is much better than Perez or it's Perez that is way worse driver than Verstappen!
He was one of the drivers who cost their team a lot of money due to crashes as well. When it comes to head-to-heads with Albon in qualifying sessions there is a huge gap between two drivers too. After seeing a this big gap I thought Williams would like to look for a new second driver.
