For now, Max deserves the lead, he did 0 mistakes until now.
The question is why LeClerc is doing so many mistakes? Unexperienced? Not so solid car?
Lack of experience and easily pressured. The car is solid enough to win races. Imagine having Hamilton drive Leclerc's Ferrari for the rest of the season and I'm pretty sure we'll have those two battling it out every race weekened.
Like the French GP as an example. Leclerc couldn't handle the pressure with Verstappen close behind his tail and made a mistake. Which he then blamed it on a throttle issue... Hmmm.

Race weekend officially begins with the practice runs underway.
Checo seems to be having sneezing fits while on his radio. So he must be having allergies for something. Maybe this could affect his driving if he is having this when qualifications happen.

Hungaroring ahead, lets see what we have here. I dont know what team can have the advantage in this circuit because this year with the new cars and the tyre degradation we cant know what can pass.
I hope for more Mercedes upgrades and a 3 band competition for the win with a lot of box work

The circuit where anything can happen ...literally. Mercedes should have 2 updates ready for this track and they are being tested today in FP. For Ferrari , this should be another win but yet again , we never know what will happen with Ferrari ...a driver can make mistake or the car engine can simply go off so you never know what will hit you by being a Ferrari fan
but I do hope Lec will mange to find his strength and enter in a positive mind send and this W for him and team.

Yes i heard that, but nobody can confirm that , maybe the telemetry can give us a little clue.
I don't think that something like that would be published.
Ferrari seems to have lately some hard-to-fix reliability issues and I don't think that they would admit this, since their customers - Alfa Romeo and Haas - may not be happy also...
I'm really sorry for Leclerc, I had better expectations from this year, after that great start they had... But yeah, this is not unusual for Ferrari
Now I don’t know if he will be able to unravel this web of failures. I don't think so.

During the French grand prix crypto sponsors including the main sponsor for F1 were removed from the cars and not allowed to be on any part of the track, where they had banners on other venues shown, due to a law in France against such advertisements being shown.
I was shocked because I didn't know about this until two days after the race concluded.

reading this article I don't understand if the teams that removed the logos of things related to cryptocurrencies consulted their legal team or not, because later in the article it says that Red Bull Racing did not remove the two logos of its sponsors related to cryptocurrencies and the argument for Red Bull Racing not to have removed the logos Is that they consulted their legal team, so I'm wondering if the other teams that removed consulted their legal teams or not. anyway, france should be less harsh on this publicity issue involving cryptocurrencies

Well we can say the odds are not so bad , because if we see the Mercedes can fight and have a good pace among the top.

Everybody including the announcer during the race had concluded it was the Throttle pedal which failed him in an earlier race where he DNF in that one as well.

Was an awesome race and it Lewis did another podium an even more a double for Mercedes even it they were under those circumstances. Max was not so happy about the win as he really wants to have a close title battle with Leclerc but if he keeps making mistakes like this we might have a fight only for 2nd place as I doubt Max can lose the title anymore.
Good race pace for Aston Martin guys and we should keep this in mind for the next races as they are bringing tons of updates and they just got approved of a huge found to develop the car for the next years.

It is looking like Sainz is the best bet to make of all those to make it higher up the leaderboard so far.

Why would Ferrari ask him to pit right when he was overtaking Perez to get a podium place?
Something is very wrong with ferrari team right now.
The way the race is progress and over half way done at lap 35,
It is looking like Sainz is the best bet to make of all those to make it higher up the leaderboard so far.

I think that this has happened because of Sainz's wheel that was in their end phase. So, instead to risk to lose also the other car, they has decided to pit him. This was a bad grandprix for Ferrari, too many mistakes was

Well well well , it seems RedBull has a problem with the wind as that's why Max couldn't finish top 1 but I don't bite that as wind was kinda the same in P3 and qualifiers. Now for race , all my strategies have been messed around so I don't know what to pick anymore. Maybe Fernando Alonso winning his group ? he has 15 odds and a fair chance to finish on 4th position

That's good value imho and with Alonso starting behind Russel too. I'm thinking about Magnussen in group 4 at 3.00. Drivers in the group are Vettel at 1.83, Magnussen at 3.00, Albon at 4.35 and Mick Schumacher at 10.00. It feels like it's an easy bet for Kevin Magnussen as he's the best driver if without Vettel in the group but Magnussen having the fastest car in the group could give him the edge even if he's starting from behind these guys.

They are just interviewing Lando and Alonso and they both look to be comfortable on this track in France so I would expect them to do exceedingly well.
Race is about to start in 40-45 minutes form now.
It is looking to be clear skies and they did say it was going to be a hot one there so we will see who has the best strategy when it comes to when and where to change their tyres hoping that it will win them the race.
Last I checked the odds last night Leclerc was at @2.35x which I am wanting to take and Max was @1.67x.
So it is still looking to be a favored race for Verstappen to win.
