Every year all the same, those who do not understand the technologies and their prospects say that everything is finished, but it is not. Crypto is still very young.

Usually big whales create panic among newbies by spreading FUD and make price drop. Also they sell some of their bitcoins to drop the price more. Then they start to buy cheap bitcoins and increase their holding.Since new investors enter all the time in to bitcoin market, big whales continue to use this phenomenon.

Bitcoin is here to stay. Just because the market went down at the start of the year. I doesn’t mean it will stay down forever. Right now, it’s hovering at around $9,000 and is expected to hit 5-figures before the end of the month. You might wanna get back in the game.

I think it will recover over a long period of time when people start getting impatient and selling their coins. There are not many advantages in the IMO market today, not in bitcoin. I just hope everything is separated, I can not bear all the coins tied to the BTC price.

The development since late December shows very clearly what is happening.

The whales - and anyone else with half a financial brain - are slowly selling all their bitcoin. As they sell, prices begin to drop sharply. They then hold back on the selling and newbies and "HODL'ers" are foolish enough to "buy the dip". This sends the price back up.

It then repeats with rates dropping again, until the newbies and "HODL'ers" buy the dip once more.

Except on every round the dip gets deeper and deeper.

The game is over, and anyone so stupendously stupid to keep buying from the whales who are unloading are basically just throwing their money away.

Face up to reality, the party is over.

No its not an over like you are saying we should stop and leave this investments because its over but instead we just treat those dip events as part of our learning and experience so that next time the dip will going to happen again then we will know what to do to these big whales like we should be onboard on every game that they will going to play because if you give up now then those experience will be wasted.

You are waisting time explaining. Look at his post, most of them are against bitcoins and entire crypto, he has a right to think what ever, but I wonder why he decided to spend time here on forum and flame?! Maybe he doesn't have a life, so he come here to talk against bitcoin, funny man, let him be.
Bitcoin is a speculators dream, some people lose money, some win a lot, there's nothing strange in that. Its far from game over, its just a beginning. Bitcoin is useful for many people who knows how to use it.
I will let this man, like some other people, to flame around, its best to not pay attention to them at all. He doesn't understand what he talks about and what kind of system he defends, I have nothing to talk about with such man, he need to grow a lot.

I suggest you should not stop and surrender by treating those dip events or losses as part of our learning experience and challenges so that the next time that the high rise and ultimate dip will going to occur again then we will know what to do specially to those big whales, that we should be able to ride on to every game that they will going to play because if you give up now then those experiences that you have learned will be wasted.

I do not think this is the end of the Crypto market. The market has rebounded very strongly and bitcoin is at $ 9k. Those who do not trust the bitcoin will often not profit for them and I feel sorry for that.
When the price of bitcoin is $ 6k5 I have bought quite a lot and now I have profit over $ 15k. I feel lucky because I have confidence in bitcoin. Grin

The crypto currency always recognizes a severe decline but the price goes back up and increases in value so you can not really know what's going on but I can make sure you do not end up fast. Cool

I agree with this. The only people the hodlers are benefitting are the day traders and whales at this present time.  It is a totally mad strategy to hold and hold through prices increase and decrease.  There is no profit till you sell.  Why can't people understand this.

it seems that the half of posting people on bitcointalk don't believe in crypto at all. I have a question for you guys.. what are you doing here anyway? this is strange that you are waisting so much time here just to make other people stop believing in crypto either. i have found a very "interesting" article today. some person made a post with a link to it. so it was about blockchains' usage for children's pornography, that these perverts put links in blocks.. who would ever believe this crap? and i can surely answer my own question - only those who know nothing about blockchain and how it works.

As we can see development of cryptocurrencies is continuing. So don’t be too worried about the possible end of Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market. This is just unbelievable thing. It will never happen.

I think that I would have to disagree regarding crypto currency being game over because in today's market of btc and crypto currency are in slightly dip where I consider normal to such case. Folks, the game is not over yet as what the author had emphasize on this thread and I think that the author had lack belief with bitcoin. Perhaps, let us see the bright side of what bitcoin had achieved in the past and it's history speaks for itself how wonderful bitcoin is.

I think it is too early to talk about that the game is over. Bitcoin price is manipulated. Today it is the one and tomorrow it may be either lower or higher but does this mean that it is dying? I am sure, not!

It is definitely because of people like this who spread FUDs that the price of bitcoin, and also altcoins are being affected. This causes the holders to doubt themselves and the fact that they are still holding their coins despite the decreasing value of the coins. Rest assure, everything is not yet over. Remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Those FUDs are just temporary because they will disappear after the market goes bull run again because they are just spreading the FUD while the market is still bearish so they can expect more dumps and price lows. The game is not yet over because it is just normal to see some dumps on the market to be able to balance the market again.
