Well said, Greece needs to stand down and let this one to passed then come back strongly, Giannis together with his brother are still young they have a lots of experiences to improved as time goes a lots of things will be learn and will show back strongly.

FIBA in terms of regulations have a big difference from NBA, adjustment needs to workout by players who plays representing their National teams.

Actually there were 3 very questionable fouls called on Giannis - not even talking about the fact he and others of our players were fouled several times with no whistle followed...

Non taken, I wasn't just aware of there's a quotient system in this game.
I am also not betting on the Greece because they are overrated, and yeah, I was right because they weren't able to beat the Czech Republic by double digit.

Bad game for Czech Republic they were not able to get this win, I was able to watch the game in the last minutes of the 4th Q, I think Giannis was fouled out in the game so Czech Republic were suppose to take advantage on it. But the defense of the Greece are really good and they were able to keep that lead and win the game.

In the early first quarter, it's the Greece who are dominating, current 10-2 so far, but this is still early, I'm still optimistic that Czech Republic will upset Greece here.

Spain would be taking the easier way to they finals and they are at 6.60 odds at the bookies right now, worth the take.

First Serbia need to beat Argentina in the quarter finals. Looking at their horrific performance during the match against Spain, even that looks doubtful. BTW, today's US vs Brazil match can be interesting as well. Brazil already have one upset against their name (vs Greece). BTW, the opponents for US in the quarter finals can be either France or Australia (depending on the results of today's match).

Greece is stronger team and has in its squad the best player in the world. Czech Republic has shown great performance in this tournament but we should not forget that its roster is not the best in the tournament.

Yesterday's Spain vs Serbia match fucked up everyone's permutations and combinations. No one expected Serbia to go down, although Spain is no minnow. This world cup have been full of surprises. First we had the United States taken to the overtime by Turkey. Then we had an upset win by Brazil over Greece. And now we have the favorites Serbia beaten by Spain.

All of us were expecting that Serbia will be topping the Group J. But it was Spain who finished first. That means that the first quarter final will be between Argentina and Serbia and the second one will be between Poland and Spain. Spain got a relatively easy opponent and now Serbia will have to play hard to overcome a strong team like Argentina.

Actually our coach - for some reason - had already given up the match even though we were "only" 10 pts behind, he let Giannis and others on the bench and did not even try to steal the game...

Anyway, regarding tomorrows match vs Czech republic. Obviously the Czechs are in the drivers seat... but and there is a big but... If Greece is going to play strong defense again and improves offensively - its actually impossible they wont improve, so bad it was vs USA - then there is a big chance Hellas beats the handicap. The team has much more experience, especially in such do or die matches and has the better roster. Yes, I am Greek and I hope I will be right but what I am saying makes sense... I guess Cheesy

I was disappointed with that they showed as well, I thought they were able to give a good game against the US but its unfortunate that they got dominated. With the betting line between the Greece and the Czech Republic, I believe the value is on the Czech Republic here.

I would bet on Czech Republic ML and will take the point spread at +9.5.

What I was thinking about this Greece USA game is why is Giannis benched in the last quarter of action? He is playing decently and why he is not in the game to chase the lead? Or is it because of Smart defense of USA and Smart's defense on him?

With Serbia and Spain, is Serbia is eliminated? I can't believe that they shocked Serbia with their performance.
