Honestly, I respect Australia because they really played a wonderful game against Spain but Spain was able to handle the game till the end. With that been said, I never expect the Argentine would beat France due to the level they handle to the USA when they met them at the quarter-final like I said a couple of days this year tournament is full of surprises.

Interesting so the final is Argentina and Spain. To be perfectly honest with you I wouldn't have guessed Argentina at the start of the cup, I wouldn't had any clue they would be so good and would come all the way to finals, I don't know who will win anymore because normally Spain is the better team but this is the Argentinian team that destroyed Serbia who was seen as one of the best teams in the cup, if not the best one.

France beating USA, hell even Serbia beating USA, they were all shocking so after 3 games I did not expected to end like this, honestly I wouldn't be shocked if Argentina wins over Spain at this point. Spain was the team that got destroyed by USA on friendlies, shows how little friendlies means anymore. I feel like Spain still has the best chance tho.

You are not the only one who made the wrong predictions here. Argentina played well behind another great performance of veteran Scola. He was supposed to be past his prime but I guess playing for country is so important to him. I'm thrilled to watch him do his thing against the likes of Gasol who was cold blooded in their game against Australia.

from the beginning, Argentina was one of the favorite teams and Francis was not the favorite team.. after seeing Francis defeat the US then the majority felt Francis had a chance to become champions (including me) Cheesy

however, Argentina has proven that they are a solid team that deserves the final. good job Argentina & Spain.

Experience was important here and also team spirit and unity.
Argentina beat Serbia and France so they totally deserve to play in the final.
I'm really sorry because of Australia, they really didn't have luck today.

Like it or not but this is true. This WC was crazy all the way. No one expected to see Australia or Argentina in semis but they did. Maybe next one will be with little more respect for some countries that played here, some shown very good performance no matter if they didnt pass.

This world cup is really crazy. Obviously I was expecting a few upsets, but I never thought even in my wildest dreams that half of all the matches would turn out to be upsets. Semifinals were no exception. Australia were very unlucky to miss a spot in the finals. They fought really hard, but the experience and NBA skills of the Spanish players propelled them to a win in the second OT. But the other semifinal was a gem. No one expected Argentina to completely dominate the match. They won all the four quarters.

They prove to us that you don't necessarily need an All Star team to win because what matters in basketball is teamwork and right harmony. Yeah! Having many NBA players to a certain team could be a big advantage but winning is still not 100% assured, it will remain pointless if you have are not well connected to one another.

If we will relate to FIFA, for me they are the counter part of Germany. Though Argentina got Messi, Brazil got Neymar and Portugal got Ronaldo, they succeeded against all odds

Wow, you simply can't love Argentina, maybe they don't have big stars, but they have amazing passion. And I can't believe that Scola is 39 years old, because he plays like 29. After win against USA, it's big upset for France, maybe they were already in the final in minds.
And Spain - Australia - amazing match with 2 OT's. Both teams were worth to reach final. Spain veteran players like have lot of experience in such matches and winners mentality. Not many of us saw Spain in final before World Cup, but they proved again that's too early to write-off Spain Golden generation.

They had their own run but the problem is Australia give up their comfortable lead, they were out defended by the Spain in the 2nd half that's why Spain were able to make it a close game and the game went to OT. Also, one big factor that decrease the chances of Australia in OT was because Aron BAYNES was fouled out and Matthew DELLAVEDOVA made a lot of mistakes.

Spain losing is not a big upset because they are not really a big favorites, but this 2nd game, it will be a big upset if the Argentina will win in the match.
The odds is x3 for Argentina if they win this game, so it's a nice and a very attractive odds for the Argentina fans.

Let's try to play some trend here, first game, favorites win, 2nd game, it could be the underdog that will win.
Also, just don't bet the plus points as the Spain won and covered the spread, if France will win, they might do the same.

Nerve of steel, that's what experience had brought to Marc Gasol, calmly sinking those two free throws to send the game to second overtime and that is the opposite to Patty Mills. His knees buckle to the pressure and that's very normal, have seen that a lot on crucial games.

We can say that they carried their team to be in the Finals, this two deserve a heroes welcome when they come back home.

Sergio Llull did help with the points with 17 points, but he has a very poor shooting percentage, same with Rubio, but Rubio make some good plays, and he is not known to be a good shooter also but a good play maker, that's his role in the NBA as well.
