Seeing Morocco advance for the quarter-finals makes me feel so much better about watching the World Cup, even though it is not my nation, but I am very delighted as an African. This is what I expect when the World Cup is hosted every four years; I always want to see challenges such as weak national teams improving and defeating countries known for their super players, and adding to the history of the World Cup by an unexpected country topping the group stage and also qualifying to a certain stage. Morocco outperformed is more our expectations because no one expected them to reach quarterfinal stage.

On paper France is more superior in this match, France has several stickers that are more dangerous when compared to England. the combination of Mbappe and Giroud, became the main key player for the victory of the French national team in the group phase until the round of 16 match. however, England was not an easy opponent for France to conquer.

The Three Lions also have above average player depth in almost all of their lines. even when referring to the defense, the defense of The Three Lions is tougher than France. the proof, they only conceded 2 goals, throughout the game until the round of 16. and has, better goal productivity than France. France only has 10 goals from 4 matches, and England has 12 goals.

I will not be surprised, if in the end if England win this game. why, because I think, this is a battle of tactics and strategy. in my view England tactics and strategy are better than French. Spain pressing yesterday didn't surprise me because the majority of the Spanish team were players from Barcelona. while the Moroccan players were occupied with attacking and defending. I believe that the Spanish team needs to improve in order to compete well in international games. The Spanish team played poorly in the two games after their 7-nil victory over a weak Costa Rica team, and they even lost to Japan. When I looked at the team they invited to the world cup, Spain was never my favorite. The only team that can save Africa is Morocco's.

see that's the thing, I don't see England as having a strong side. we have a few good players eg:TrentAA, Bellingham etc, however as a squad I dont think we are anything special.

I also really hate the footage of the fan park 'celebrations' in England lately. Previous years they've all been great videos of great celebrations, but now the 'celebrations' are so forced!

As I said yesterday, I foresaw a match between Spain and Morocco that would make people talk... and what a surprise!

I'm a Spaniard but I feel in part happy for them: they defended really well and forced the penalties, so their victory was well deserved.

In addition, it is positive for a generally ignored continent like Africa to share the illusion of such an important event like the World Cup and feel that they can achieve whatever they want, at least on the field; and more precisely for Morocco for passing to quarters.
