Japan are really giving Spain a hard time with quick press. Japan's manager did had a plan and he did it well in quick half with bringing in fresh players and go all out with the press. I wouldn't be surprised if Spain concedes another goal with the way they are playing defensively.

Germany are also on the brink of exiting in the group stage. If it happens then I think after Belgium and Mexico, we will be watching another big nation team's coach leaving his role at the national team likely.

Probably the most unpredictable day of all unpredictable days... Costa Rica beats Germany and Japan beat Spain... If you could speculate about Spain and Japan who would win, then Germany was not expected to play such an embarrassing game... Once again they can't make it to the 1/8, losing to the clear underdogs... What a sensation...
They seem to have managed to level the score, but they are still last in the group...

Spain is trying to control the match. Spain still has 79% ball possession. But they trailed 2-1. Japan is not able to keep possession of the ball. But they try to attack when they get control of the ball. As a result, Spain's players are under some pressure. Spain needs a draw in this match, while Japan needs to win this match if they want to secure the round of 16. On the other hand, Germany vs Costa Rica match is in a 2-2 draw. And now the last team in the group in Germany. I see no chance of Germany qualifying for the round of 16.

Brazil versus Costa Rica Only 1 goal was scored by Germany before halftime, and I anticipate more goals from them after Costa Rica scored 1 and then tied the score. Despite this, I still have a good prediction for Germany's victory. I'm also enjoying the game. It's a shame that Belgium failed to progress from the group stage to the last 16 but I was expecting it since they lost to Morocco in their previous game. Belgium can't seem to play well in the first two games, so they don't seem motivated to last much longer in the World Cup based on their performances.

It was indeed very surprising what happened in Group F where Morocco appeared very impressive by beating Belgium and Canada and they drew with Croatia. even though Morocco is not very favored to qualify for the round of 16 but Morocco can prove their quality in every match in the group phase. I don't forget to congratulate Morocco for qualifying for the last 16 as group winners followed by Croatia. The Germans will be out from this tournament as Costa Rica have equalised the goal and Germany is now last in their group. This world cup is becoming unpredictable because the countries that we hope to perform well are not performing well.

Three minutes in the second half Japan has equalise the goal by Doan and Takana scored the second goal at the 48th minutes to lead the match. It is Spain 1-2 Japan,they are presently toping their group with two points ahead of Spain, if the match ends this way. It is a shock as Spain is now second on their group. The Japanese are playing well and not scared of all the big players in Spain.

They apparently did bring out this image for analysis and I wondered why? The Croatian used in this analysis seemed very much on to me but there was another player just up ahead. Yeah, this particular player got the ball but the player up ahead was offside and he trued contesting for the ball as well.
Anyway, they've got all the technology and a team of referees on and off the pitch to not make mistakes here. If they are in agreement, we've got no choice but to follow the referees decision.

Germany has been on the prowl against Costa Rica, so many chances on the box before the first half whistle went but they've only managed one goal. Hope we would be seeing more goals in this second half.
