The South Africans from that group would not have been expected to find their way through Italy. In the game during the second half after Caruso scored the equalizer for Italy, It almost looked possible for them to score another goal to win the game with the motivation that goal brought. The South Africans did well to be able to keep their composure and force a goal in the last few minutes of the game.

If there is something I have noticed from this competition, there have been a lot of last few minutes to the end of the game goals. South Africans join Nigeria to represent their continent in the next round.

Injury time with 11 extra minutes added, South Africa gets a goal to go to make it 3-2 and if this remains like this.. South Africa will be going into the Knockout stage and the Italians just seem not to have an answer for all the goals coming their way and unless the dont score they are going home for sure..can they have the last say, only time will tell!

Lauren has been so impressive look at her stats so far 3 goals 3 assists in 3 matches and it should have been 4 goals if that girl wasn't offside. England's performance has been super brilliant in this competition and their match against China, they didn't disappoint. I am going to tip them to win this tournament. They are the dominant side in all of their games and have now secured a place in the next stage of the competition with their victory. The chances of China qualifying are very slim. I think their next match against Nigeria will have a score line of 2 - nil in their favour.

That mistake could cost them dearly, and as things stand South Africa leads the Italians by a goal which means if South Africa holds this win then the Italians will be knocked out which won't be something we imagined especially that they started this match with a goal ahead.

Goal stands and the Italians are not going home, now try get a winner to finish off South Africa 

The own goal came in the Italy vs South Africa match and not really sure maybe it was the first own goal in the tournament.
Italian players made a mistake when intending to give the ball to their goalkeeper but did not pay proper attention to the goalkeeper's position so that the ball could not be received properly and caused the ball to go into the goal, so Italy's advantage had to disappear because South Africa could equalize through a own goal, and South Africa needed that to keep their chances of qualifying alive.
South Africa needs a win to qualify with Sweden from Group G, while Italy only needs to keep a score like this to qualify unless Argentina can win against Sweden because Argentina will be better in terms of goal difference. The match in Group G is still quite interesting to look forward to the results because 3 teams still have a chance under certain conditions.

I'd have to hand it to her as the key force of England winning that game. I watched the highlights and not just that she is a good finisher, she also contributes well to the game, not selfish with the ball. In the game with Nigeria, I expect a lot of shocks from her end, as well as the likes of Rachel Daly who scored the last goal to further complete the burial of P.R China.
 If Nigeria would want to move to the next stage, they'd have to put more effort and not expect luck to be on their side, try their best to limit mistakes because that's where the Lionesses excel, at least the China women confirmed it. I am keeping my fingers crossed for this game but I'm expecting a goal goal situation.
 

The Lioness may just seem to have found their rhythm at about the right the time, and a number players from the Super Falcons are pretty banged up, and playing with discomfort or the other, but there is still quite a time for them be in better shape than they were against Ireland.

It should be a great clash indeed and battle of wills, because the Falcons are quite as good in the midfield areas while having two of the most dangerous attackers in Europe too, but England would need to go through a difficult task of dominating the middle of the field if they are break the Falcons, Imo.



My major surprise of the would be the defending champions inability to get all 3 points too, however, that may still not seem to have affect them from getting a better opponent for the round of 16, but if their performance remains below this par, I'm afraid they wouldn't stand a chance to defend the title.

As we predicted before and the Netherlands managed to beat Vietnam with a landslide score of 7-0 and managed to lead the group with 7 points. The United States also managed to become runners-up by collecting 5 points after a 0-0 draw with Portugal. Supposedly if they could beat the United States then the opportunity to occupy the runner-up position was very open Portugal, but that did not happen after ending in a draw.

Vietnam lost in quality to the Netherlands so it was very difficult for them to balance the match and I didn't see a balanced match in that match. An interesting match between Portugal vs the United States, even though in the end the match had to end in a draw.

It was really a shame for Portugal to leave the World Cup, despite having played well. But, they should have played more against Holland. If Portugal had played a match like the one they played against the USA, maybe now they would still be in the competition.

But, for a team that was at the Worlds for the first time, you just have to leave with pride, and keep working to progress even further.

In turn, I expected a little more from the US. Are they saving up for the rest of the competition?

It was a thing of joy from the camp of the super Falcon to qualify into the round of 16 for the female world cup tournament qualifying from a very tough group with the likes of Ireland, Australia and Canada, they had good performance against Ireland though it was a draw but won against Australia beating them 3-2 which gave them hope of moving on to the next round also a draw with Canada with a red card make sure the Super Falcons of Nigeria moved into the next round where they would be facings the Lionesses a very fierce and tough opponets to defeat.
 The ball lies in the court of the England team and it would come as a surprise to me if they remove the Lionesses from the tournament because they've got more quality and experienced players and have had a good history in the tournament, the Super Falcons have to put more effort in the game and make every shot count because they more goals they score might determine there chances of remaining in the competition and all hope would be on the Nigeria female sensation Assisat Oshoala to help deliver the team to the next round she needs to be very tough and hungry for the goal because more pressure would be on her.

The hero of the game is Lauren James. She is such an exceptional player that has contributed immensely to the success of the English side. She got a brace and contributed to three goals. The Chinese team was not impressive and I expected them to put up a strong opposition. The Lionesses dominated the match and the Chinese side managed to get a goal through a penalty. The English coach Sarina Wiegman brought in Jess Carter, Katie Zelem, and Lauren Hemp on starting lineup. And James was moved to the midfield and the result was awesome.

Nigeria will have to be exceptional to be able to win this talented English side. The Super Falcons didn't show much quality in their last game against Ireland so I am doubting their ability to beat the English team. Randy Waldrum will have to be technically sound to be able to withstand the quality of his opponent. The Nigerian attack led by Spain-based Assisat Oshoala would have to be less wasteful to ensure that created opportunities would be fully maximized. The English team has some of the best attackers so there is a need for Nigerians to keep scoring because the Lionesses will always score

The final score in the match between England and China was a resounding 6 to 1. The outcome of the England vs. Nigeria game on the sixteenth of this month is unknown to everyone. Each of them participating in the Women's World Cup is over if any of them loses the match. In order to continue competing in the Women's World Cup, I believe both the national teams of England and Nigeria will give it their all when they play one another.

Given that both national teams have defeated one another in their previous head-to-head meetings, both national sides (England and Nigeria) have two weeks to be ready for the encounter. There hasn't yet been a draw noted between them both. Three times that England and Nigeria have played, England has won two and Nigeria has won one.

I did the same and even bet on Alex Morgan to score but it was a bust.
Portugal's defense was quite good because of the many chances USA got on the other hand, I also like the performance of Pereira and Portugal players who dare to play the ball more than USA in this match.
The second half could have gone Portugal's way if Ana Capeta's shot hadn't hit the bar but unfortunately it ended in a scoreless tie.
With this, the Netherlands are firmly at the top of Group E as they won easily against Vietnam.

That's call nicely played and magnificent outcome! I really hope Netherlands team can reach the finals again, because they're in such good form. Netherlands, the most complete team in FIFA Women's World Cup, and it's not just because of this one-sided victory. Of-course Vietnam's performance quite disappointing. This was their first time participating in the FIFA Women's World Cup, and unfortunately, they couldn't create any positive memories from the tournament. It's sad for Vietnam to make their debut but unable to leave a good impression.

Jamaica has the potential to be able to win against Brazil but there is only a small chance to get.
Currently Jamaica is in 2nd place in Group F and Brazil is in 3rd place, but the difference in points from the two is only 2 points to be able to shift its position in the Group F standings.
Even though Jamaica has a small chance of winning, Brazil's winning percentage actually turns out to be stronger if you look at the existing Odds.

If betting on Brazil with Odds of 1.20 is too risky with quite a small profit but when what you want actually happens where the match until the start of the 2nd half is a draw and the Odds for Brazil have increased then choosing Brazil to bet on can give good results. deserves to win.

England ended the group stage with a 1-6 win against the China side whom we thought would give the Lioness a hard time on the field of play but it happened that the Lioness came with something different, I even thought it would end in a draw. Good win for the lioness, what a way to end the group stage.

In the round of 16 England are going to face the Super Falcons of Nigeria as it has been made official. I see that game as the clash of the Titans, no matter how poorly the Falcons may seem (performance wise), it won't be that easy for the Lioness and they're going to struggle to get a win, but I think it will go the Falcons way to win.

England Women won Group D 6-1 goal with table-toppers England and third-placed China. We know that England women's team performed well as they won today's match against China. They attacked well from the start which saw them score three goals in the first half and three goals in the second half to become group champions. Today England women team fought a lot to win this match for which they are selected to go to the knockout stage. It was their misfortune to lose today's match to China Women as they were eliminated from the knockout stage. On the other hand, England women's team got selected for the knockout stage with a huge win and will play their next match against Nigeria.

Denmark secured a 2-0 victory with second-placed Denmark and fourth-placed Haiti in the Group D points table. The Denmark women's team attacked enough that led to a great win with Haiti and they were selected to go to the knockout stage. If the Haiti women's team could have won this match, would not have been selected for the knockout stage because they have 0 points in the points table, while Denmark women's table has 6 points. In that case, if Denmark had lost the match, they would have been selected for the knockout stage, but today the Haitian women's team was eliminated before going to the knockout stage. Denmark Women's team has been selected for the knockout stage and their next match against Australia Women is expected to be a great battle between the two teams.

Today I spent without bets and got rid of losses, since I could not predict any of these results
I think only Denmark 2-0 Haiti was a more expected result, but I wouldn't have imagined a 6-1 England win, nor a 7-0 Netherlands win. I also wouldn't have thought that the USA would suffer like that to qualify.

Tomorrow there is a very interesting game, Brazil vs Jamaica. The odds for Brazil to win are 1.20, but I don't agree, Jamaica has a good team and managed to hold a draw against France
Group F has become very complicated, as Brazil or France could be out of the round of 16 depending on the results
I think I'm going to risk a bet on Under 2.25 goals in the Brazil match, betting that it will be a more nervous and difficult match, and the odds are good, 2.55

Maybe if the match is tied until the beginning of the second half, I will bet on a Brazil win if the odds rise to 1.70 or more

There will be draw for England, the English side are not sharing points. This is the best game they have played in this competition, and you can see it from the early goal and how the kept scoring in the game with three goals in the first half and now one in this second half. The game has less than ten minutes to finish but England already leads by four goals and China scoring just one. England can score some goals more before the game ends. England will finish at the top of their group and will play Nigeria next in the next round. It will be a serious game for both teams with the result hard to say.

The chances of the Lionesses playing a draw is quite high, considering their performances in previous games and if you also check how the China women side are playing, you'd see that they'd be comfortable if they can draw the game, they will be a point above Denmark, staying in second place but I have the feeling that England will bag all the three points and not just with a lone goal but at least 3.
