Look at Ronaldinho, one of the most entertaining football players in football history, I have never seen him in a good body shape, dude was just normal until he retired, that's it. Look, I am not expecting Cristiano Ronaldo style situation, but Neymar basically never went to lifting room all his life evidently, and his body can't handle all these injuries and life style, so he is basically done. He had fun, made some money, got rich, now time to retire.

I agree with you. Brazil has a lot of great talent in football. Brazilian people love football very much and you can see children playing football all over the streets of Brazil. But unfortunately most Brazilian players don't have a long career after playing in Europe. In fact many Brazilian players come from poor backgrounds and when they get a lot of money and can buy anything they want, they can't manage it well. Players like Adriano and Ronaldinho like to party all night and do little training. Even Ronaldo Nazario didn't maintain his weight during his time as a professional player and that made him suffer some serious injuries because his skills couldn't keep up with his body weight.
One thing we have to admit is that Brazil has produced the most and the biggest star players in the world of football. As if football is mixed with the blood of the people of Brazil, we see images of football playing in the streets of their alleys. One of the best stars in the world of football is Pele who was born in Brazil. Those who understand football or watch football games must have heard this name. We all may know the name of the player Ronaldinho and even we are familiar with his playing skills and experience. I have been a fan of Ronaldinho's game ever since I was introduced to football because of his impressive gestures on the field. I heard that he had financial problems towards the end of his life which is not at all desirable for a footballer. Maybe it was because of excessive partying that he got into such a bad situation.

Neymar is already suffering from Injury for last three months and we can understand how hard it is from him to stay away from the game. Also it is a big blow for the Brazilian team who are already suffering and not having Neymar Jr. to play for the team. Maybe more than Brazil, Saudi Professional League Al-hilal may be missing him. The doctor Rodrigo Lasmar told that he can start to play football again stating the 2024/25 season but this is delayed too.
Neymar's injury of last season really affected the performance of Brazilian national team because they had to play a major tournament like the Copa America without their star player and captain. The injury without doubt was a big blow to his Saudi club Al Hilal as it affected their performances and results of last season but it didn't stop them from winning the Saudi Pro League title as well as the other domestic trophies unlike the Brazilian national team that failed to win the Copa America without the presence of Neymar.  Till date, Neymar is still  believed to be one of most talented footballers of all time but series of injuries have limited the Brazilian from living to his full potentials and achieving what he was supposed to achieve as a footballer.  Hopefully, he comes back to full fitness ahead of next season season.
Brazil felt the lack of Neymar in the Copa America. In the match where Neymar played for Brazil, Brazil seemed much stronger but in the match where Neymar was absent in Brazil, I don't know why it seemed that several Brazilian players were missing. Neymar was the most important player for Brazil at the World Cup although he missed several matches due to injury but the way he counter-attacked against Croatia in the quarter-final match still stands out in my eyes. This player was born at the wrong time and his biggest curse was his injuries. This player would have made history had he not had injury problems. He is past 30 but still fit to play. Since this player has not played in the national team jersey for a long time and has not won any major tournament title, the only hope is that he will participate in the 2026 World Cup and win the World Cup there.
His consistent injury spell is one of the factors that led to his early decline in the world stage, perhaps it's one of the reasons Barcelona never hesitated when he opted to leave the nou camp for Paris, but it only turned out for the worse for the Brazilian star who didn't achieved much with PSG at that time but rather took another step forward  to Saudi which many people viewed as another wrong move for him at that moment when his country needed him or expected him to hang on, i guess he is not going to go down well in history as many predicted as at when it all started for him at Santos and during those glorious days with Barca.

Brazil has some superstar players all the time and these players were helping the team a lot it's now Neymar's turn but since he is getting injured over time very soon that's not a good relay on this player. Neymar lost many games in Al Hilal and even in the last season he lost many games in PSG he couldn't play for a long time and now this player won't be a good player to rely on him in Brazil. However, Neymar is not guilty and we can't blame him because that's just of the playing style of the player.

Brazilian passion for the soccer is without any doubt and their history is also having good success but sadly now their presence is at their lowest level even still they are having many big players those are giving their best in different leagues and also can give their best for their country, but sadly things are going not as expected because they are lack of leadership which is always important for win their performance is having good depth but their aggression and offense is not working as they were doing in the past.

Brazil needs to work on their system because if they are able to have foreign coaches into their league and also for the national team then surely this could be good change, and we will be having better results and many other developments which will help their players for having improved performance and results now they are having challenges in coming days as they are looking for wins into World Cup qualifiers because due to poor performance they are facing tougher time.
The problem is that Brazilians love football, but they do not consider it as a job after they make the money. There has been a lot of Brazilians who did not take care of their body, of course there are ones like Vini who do, but there are a lot who never put any emphasis on keeping their body healthy. They play because they think it's fun to play, not because they see that as job.

It's already time for Brazil to try a foreigner coach to see if the national team can improve its performance. Even brazilian clubs have been hiring foreigner coaches and it has been working nicely for them. There are good brazilian players disponible, and I don't know why they weren't recruited to play Copa America by the current coach. There must be a coach who is more concerned about results and skills than following the trail displayed by the media's spotlights, which is illusory.

There are players who don't even appear on the media, don't boast their personal lives and wealthy on Instagram all day long, don't create polemics with people around, but are still very professional and could help Brazil national team to reach further on the competitions. However, there must be someone with intuition and sensibility to notice them.

It's a fact, that's the way things are, that's why Ancelotti was considered , but if I were there, I would look for Zidane. It doesn't matter if the answer is no, you have to knock on the door. I remember a great coach, Bora Milutinovic, he always did well with any team, he took them to the World Cup without any kind of problem. In this regard, a coach must go. A foreigner is a great option, but which one? Which one is committed to doing things well in Brazil. It's difficult, knowing the great reputation that precedes this country in terms of football.

I've always thought that Neymar is a player who is more likely to get injured because he is a little thinner than other players. Do you agree with that or am I mistaken?
I ask this because other players like Messi, who are shorter than other players, are harder to bring down than Neymar.
I think thinner players are more likely to get injured than bigger players. But the most important factor is how the players maintain their fitness. There are many skinny players but they are very agile and rarely get injured. Sorry but as far as I know Neymar is a wonderkid and one of the greatest players in Brazil right now but he is not the type of player who is dedicated to training and fitness. And with his skinny body he will be more prone to injury.

Messi is a small player but with his extraordinary talent and his efforts in maintaining his fitness at a high level have made him a player who is not easily injured. I heard rumors that Messi also had a personal fitness trainer when he was with Barcelona. That is why Messi can still play at the highest level after he is past his prime as a footballer.

There's no denying Neymar's skill, but his history of injuries is a big worry. That guy is flashy, but not reliable. Al Hilal paid a king's ransom for him, but so far, he's spent more time in the medical room than on the pitch. As a businessman, I know a bad bet when I see one. This deal needs to be changed a lot. We shouldnt pay a lot of money for a player who is always hurt. A structure that is based on success is the only way to go. This is not about hurting Neymar; its about looking out for Al Hilal's best interests. We need to make sure that the money we spend gets results, not just news stories
Neymar is currently one of the best product of Brazil soccer but sadly in last few years due to serious injuries he is not able to perform as he needed because as usually mentioned he is spending his time in medical room instead of playing or having any other activity.

Now Neymar is 32 years old in his last season he appears only three time for the Al Hilal and his performance was not different at the PSG where he spends six years and have only 112 matches with these stats we can understand how things are going for him Now after having last year drama here in Saudi League things are going against him, and he needs to be had some good performance otherwise things can go on wrong side because he is having few years for play in national level and club level.
Neymar is one of Brazil's best forwards at the moment but has been plagued by injuries over the period. We haven't seen him regularly on the field since he first suffered a major injury against Colombia. Neymar Jr was at his most fit in club football when he played at Barcelona. Then after joining PSG he was irregular there and even after joining Saudi club Al Hilal he was irregular there mainly due to injury problems.

2024 Copa America Neymar Jr. was completely absent which hurt their team a lot. Even his team Brazil has left the quarter-finals of this year's Copa America. But now he may be healthy and even fit to play. Let's see how much responsible performance he can give to his team in this season of Saudi League. However, it is still doubtful whether Neymar Jr. will be able to play for Brazil in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup because he suffered an injury after a few months. Roll Eyes I think Brazil's team management and coaches only worry about Neymar is that he can get injured at any time.

In the biggest teams in Europe he practically no longer has a market, perhaps the only one who can sign him is Barcelona out of nostalgia, just as they did with Daniel Alves, but to return to playing at a very high level, no more, what is missing for him? It's the Asian teams or going back to Brazil to end my career (which is what I think will happen)

I've always thought that Neymar is a player who is more likely to get injured because he is a little thinner than other players. Do you agree with that or am I mistaken?

Or is it that he is a very provocative player and that is why he angers other players because of his exhibitionism in dribbling?

I ask this because other players like Messi, who are shorter than other players, are harder to bring down than Neymar.

It seems that with each passing year, football is becoming more dangerous and aggressive.

I don't think being thinner makes you more prone to injuries.

Maybe it could even be the other way around, if you are a bit out of shape it might be easier to get an injury.

But most players are probably in great shape, independent of their genetics. I think it's mostly who gets kicked more often the ones that get more injured.

Injuries usually are one of the tough phase players do go through, and for Neymar, it's not been easy with him considering the reports that have been circulating in that regards, Brazil os going to suffer for a while due to his absences but not to worry it's no t such that will keep him back long enough that he's not going to be able to play for them again, hopefully he recovers and get back playing but he may become injury prone and no longer in his prime as he's been much before this time. Al-hilal are going to miss him the most and it's going to affect them in a way tho but Brazil may not have to wori much as before they will be needing him he should have recovered fully.

Neymar's injury saga isn't just a string of bad luck; it's the damn storyline of his career. This dude's a supernova of talent, but injuries are keeping him from going full galactic. Al Hilal's killing it in the Saudi Pro League, sure. Without Neymar', they lost a guy who creates chaos and opportunities all over the pitch

Now, the Inter Miami rumors are heating up. This is a crossroads for Neymar. Does he stick around in a league where he hasn't even made his debut due to injury, or does he jump ship to a new challenge? For any club considering Neymar, especially Inter Miami, this is a high-stakes poker game. We're talking about a guy who's as fragile as he is brilliant. Al Hilal's playing the patience game right now, but sooner or later they gotta ask themselves: is Neymar's sporadic brilliance worth the constant worry? They're pouring money into a player who spends more time in the medical room than on the pitch

It was really a bad investment to sign Neymar. But it is practically impossible to predict an injury like his, it was a fatality.

I still think he will fulfill his contract until 2025 or, in the worst case scenario, terminate it before then so as not to harm the club too much... Neymar's future lies in returning to Brazil and playing for Flamengo, that is inevitable... he has even bought a plot of land in the city of Rio de Janeiro to build a mansion.

We know from the history of the Brazil team that they are a very strong team but their current performance does not reflect that. I am always surprised when I see such a strong Brazil team that they are performing poorly in every match even without one player and are constantly losing. Neymar Jr. is a great player he excels in his experience scale and performance. Neymar Jr has been plagued by injuries for most of his time in football which has kept him out of most matches. The Brazil team needs to find a replacement for Neymar because it is not normal for them to play poorly when Neymar is absent.

Brazil need to develop players so that even if their team is missing a forward, another forward can fill that absence and even carry the team forward properly. Only then will Brazil return to the previous from and play well against their opponents and even win.

I haven't seen any player who is more injury-prone than Neymar.  Tongue  Just like any time, he is injured once again now... He can't be a player to rely on for Brazil that's for certain. How will he contribute like this in the end?

Brazil still has great players. The thing they have lacked is teamwork. Otherwise this team has a bigger potential. Just think about it, does their current condition look reasonable to you?

Their qualifiers performance so far is just terrible.  Sad  If they keep this up they might not even qualify for the next World Cup. It'd be a big shock not to see them there. I hope they leave these bad days behind ASAP.

That right, Neymar is the only player who is very often injured, even Neymar is the only player who is always absent for long time due to the healing of the injury he has experienced so far.
If there were no injury problems, maybe Brazil would still have at least one main player in the front line who is able to make the opponent defense feel great pressure, so far as long as Neymar is still fit and playing with Brazil has made Brazil strength quite good.
After series of Neymar injury problems and that when we saw Brazil experience significant decline in performance even though now they have new generation filled with great young players.
Problem is that this new generation does not have much experience and they are really like players who lack champion mentality, maybe in the future the new players can really show their greatness with Brazil.

But it is undeniable that if Brazil performance does not improve significantly in this World Cup qualification, it could result in them failing to qualify to participate in the real competition.
Brazil has performed several times not according to expectations and they have made several mistakes with the occurrence of defeats that should not have been obtained.

Especially Neymar's injury alone has damaged the reputation of the Brazilian team, because the Brazil team without Neymar seems completely empty. Although Neymar has been out of the team for a long time due to injury, Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League have also spent a long time in fear. But this time Copa America Brazilian team performed very badly and they lost with any team. So the Brazilian fans have never expected such a poor performance this season. Because Neymar's experience and his style of play must play a huge role in the team's victory.

People should just understand that Christiano Ronaldo and Messi are two different people with different characters and different strengths. I respect Ronaldo alot whether he wins the world cup or not before he retires he is still a good player in the history of football. Ronaldo's nature and character is what makes people feels he is a selfish player
I agree with you. And as I said before that Ronaldo is a typical player who has a leadership soul. And one thing that is special about Ronaldo I think is his consistency and extraordinary discipline that can hardly be imitated by other players. I see no Portuguese player who has the same spirit to train as Ronaldo. It is very unfortunate when Ronaldo tries to give direction and advice to young players but they don't like it. I don't know if the rumor is true but there is a possibility that Ronaldo wants young Portuguese players like him but unfortunately they don't have the spirit like CR7.
Cristiano Ronaldo has put in the work which has resulted in his success as a player. I will consider him a lucky guy for remaining relevant over a decade even though there is Leonel Messi that did not allow him to reign alone. Comparing Messi and Ronaldo is something I think is unnecessary because they are both unique players from different backgrounds. There are some things Ronaldo is better in and there are things Messi is better in. The good thing is that both players have achieved virtually all there is to achieve in football just that Messi is lucky to have won the world cup whereas Ronaldo was unable to win it but that does not mean that Ronaldo is not a great player.

You can't count on just one World Cup win, I think Ronaldo is the best in every aspect. Cristiano Ronaldo may not have won the World Cup but he is still fresh. Yeah, I wouldn't say that Lionel Messi is bad, so maybe considering their age, it's time for both of them to take a break from playing football. At present, Ronaldo is more important to the team than Messi because Cristiano Ronaldo himself performs like a young man and can win his team with his intelligence and tactics.

But this time in the Copa America Cup, despite Lionel Messi entering the field outside the field, the Argentine team won. Although it is a matter of great concern because he was out injured, I saw Cristiano Ronaldo respect his team enough to end up injured and record a win to the last.

Now before doing any comparison we need to check ground realities because these are also important, and we have to accept few things as well Messi and Ronaldo both are having different conditions and atmosphere with Messi having good success in international level due to their strong system and solid strategy but on other hand we have no success for Ronaldo as country man, but he is achieving historic success in club level this is also never been easy for any player.

I think the ronaldo messi rivalry will end soon. We are very lucky to be able to witness two of the world's best players in the same era and playing in the same domestic league. Their prime with real madrid and barcelona made me not want to miss a single el classico match at that time. I agree with you that both players have made history at club level. There is no history board that does not record their names. Although Ronaldo was a little unlucky because he still failed to get the world cup. But Ronaldo has surpassed pele's record as the highest scorer in history in official FIFA competitions. That is the most prestigious achievement for a footballer.

It has ended years ago, it was mostly over when they parted ways when Ronaldo left Real Madrid and went to Juventus Turin. Afterwards it was only about the ballon d'Or, but other than that I think the rivalry was kept alive by the media, but actually not by the superstars themselves. There was only one time when Ronaldo made some smileys on Instagram when Messi won another ballon d'Or. Well, that's Ronaldo as he can't accept when others are better than him. He chose Saudi Arabia, congrats.

As for the World Cup I think Messi is more of an icon to the Argentinian team than Ronaldo is to Portugal. Who knows, maybe both will show up at the next World Cup.
