sometime I can't stop but to ask myself weather or not corruption was created in the system of human and the only way out is for the formulation of a systematic approach to governmental affairs,  instead of relying on human formulated governmental policies that have failed a number of time now.
Of a truth, corruption starts from the mindset of an individual because as soon as the mind (reasoning) is corrupt, every other path of your lifestyle seems to work in consonant with your mind so just as you said and I quote that systematic approach to government affairs needs to be followed as that is the only way to curb corruption from the mindset because whoever is occupying a government position will gear towards the lay down roles of how government functions ought to be handled.

Fighting against corruption can be very difficult when the people that are in the government seat who are expected to do the work and fight against others that are in corruption are not doing anything about it, so do we intend to fight corruption ourselves without the government being involved. Fighting corruption should be from the top which is people on the government not from the masses. If the masses want a less or non corrupt government, the process would be difficult to achieve which could take a lot if lives.

Fight again collection just a waste of time. In our society not society in our country everywhere if you want to be a successful person you must connect with corruption because without high level power and those type of person who connect with corruption they will not give you a chance for growing up without getting their benefit. That's the reason a person want to success in life automatically choose correct way to get success and don't think about fight against corruption because they have a family and they want to give their family a good life.

Country with such corrupt mentality goes no where in the world because they keep retrogressing while those less corrupt keep going higher and I feel this is about the African society. Corruption is a very bad monster that has refused to go in Africa. The leaders keep bringing their family back to power, hopefully maybe some fresh air will be seen with the rate of military take over of power in some of the west African countries. If the military don't go back to the corrupt regime, then maybe they will set the pace for African development.

A good president might not be corrupt but if his executives and other officials are literally corrupt, it's like that the rust from those people will also be sent and stained on him.

The sad truth with corrupt countries, it's like it's embedded on their system and became a norm where a normal citizen won't be surprise if it's discussed as if it's a normal thing happens in their government.

People most likely believe whatever their leaders promised them and I can say this is true because in our community, the Election was just finished two weeks ago, and the leader that leading our community has been leading for over 20 years without any major improvement linked to his government rather you can see in his house that it became a mansion and he has lots of vehicles and wives. thankfully he was replaced by a new Leader who is capable of improving this place because he is a millionaire. But that's all I can say because, without any results or changes, we cannot say that he is better than the former leader.

How easy for a new president who is been elected to fight corruption in a nation where all the systems of government is been corrupted,  like in the force,  and judiciary,  even the politicians.

Having  the mind to stop corruption is not easy in a nation that corruption  is seen as nothing, making an attempt to do so some politicians will do everything to frustrate the agenda. Do you think a genuine president can easily end corruption of this level ?

If a new elect president is to fight it he will if only is not like the others who are corrupt

You know, I have always thought there is some weird relation between corruption and religions which are prominent in some societies, while they are non-existant in other. For example, we all know that most of religions, specially those Abramic ones (Judaism, Islam and Christianity) teach people not to lie or not to corrupt themselves, always to seek to do good to others, in short.
So we could assume that the most religious a country is, the less corruption we are supposed to find, right?
Still, we see that in Latin America (where Christianity is very prevalent) corruption is widespread, I am not sure why. I have never been in a country whether the other of those religions are the majority, so I cannot say whether it is different in Saudi Arabia or Israel.

A good example of the inconsistency of this is also how many Mafia members and Mafia bosses in Italy are very religious (Catholic) and yet, they willingly participate in organized crime. I do not understand whether all this is just about hipocresy or something else.
What are your thoughts?

As I said earlier, in your own little way, whether in your business, workplace or in an associations, let us try to be incorruptible. It start with you.

If only it was that easy. People can be hypocritical and two faced. Always giving out the appearance of someone who is trust worthy and calling out the supposed corrupt ones.
But you’re right. It would be nice if we could be the change we want to be in the society. But not everyone can be just and true. Some people would always be greedy and corrupt. As the bad apples in the society would then corrupt others who would easily be influenced due to hardship.

The members of the cabinet many of them are always corrupt, and are always behind every corruption in that country and the president wi be aware but it is now looking as their is nothing he can do about it. But I have one believe no politician is a saint all of them are the same with their corrupt practices and always have the same habit of deceiving people to get them voted,  country like ours is so corrupt that it is not a new thing again to us, they steal and keep stealing. Till when they will die.

there are good-willed politicians but it doesn’t mean they’re 100% clean so it’s important that even if you support a politician you should never idolize them and we should be able to criticize the government accordingly

in our country, corruption is almost, if not already, the norm it’s so bad that we just want to pick the lesser evil still i am wishing for politicians who can give justice to the country and to its people

Nobody can fight corruption, instead corruption will fight the person. In Nigeria, Mangu, the former "Economic and Financial Crime Commission" boss, was arrested for corruption.

Corruption is as old as man.
You made me laugh by saying instead of anyone to fight corruption that corruption has to fight the person, indeed corruption has really ravaged our society but regardless we still need to find measures by which we can fight this corruption that has eaten deep in the mindset of so many individuals. Though it is not really gonna be easy but i think it is necessary we start looking for ways to fight corruption because if we continue in this nature I wonder what the next generation will look like. Where there is corruption it is difficult to experience progress and development in that area because there would be different opinions that may go contrary to achieving a solid thing that will better the individuals of that particular environment.

Well said
Same people who are complaining about corruption at the top are facilitating the spread of corruption. Especially here in Africa,  corruption is a normal practice.  If you are not corrupt, you won't get certain benefits you would have gotten on a fair ground.

Before the fight against corruption can be successful,  the whole system has to be cleansed which is somehow impossible because you cannot force humans to change.
I personally think the fight against corruption is an impossible task.

To end corruption is not something a single individual can just decide that it is enough and then corruption will just come to an end. It has to come from a gradual process and conscious steps that are coming from the side of the leaders and the leaders before corruption can be reduced to a reasonable extent.

Even if a president has great plans and policy that is aimed at eliminating corruption, you have to understand that he can't work all my himself to make this a reality. He has to work with his governor, senator, assembly members and so many other of his board members that might be also corrupt and will do any thing possible to resist whatever change the president proposes.

We've not even considered the corruption that has eaten deep into the life of the average citizen and the religion and social organisation leaders, how can we correct or whipe away such corruption?

The fight to end corruption is a responsiblety of all although I doubt corruption can be brought to an end

Corruption is now penetrated in the blood of some people which is not easy pull out. If we go in any institution we will that not a higher grade officer is corrupt but you also see that the lower grade persons are also corrupted.
We can eliminate the corruption if we will improve ourselves like if I will improve my self and will never do corruption so others will also think about it. Otherwise it will increase and never decrease.

It's a kind of dream fight against corruption in our country. Corruption is everyone people use corrupted where to get success easily. Not the normal person connected corruption the high class person such as politician businessman etc are corrupted to get success easily. You can't fight against the correction because everyone is connected with another if you want to fight against a person who connect with corruption then the other person will try to hide it or save the person you are against. In our country you can see that the small person to have very high class person such as postman to a prime minister both are connected with corruption if you are try to talk against them then they will take action on you. We are just normal person we can see what happening beside us we can tell anything and can't do anything against corruption. That's the reason I am saying that fight against corruption in Bangladesh it's a dream.

I believe the best way to discourage anyone from partaking in corrupt activities would be to implement harsher punishment upon those caught commiting those crimes and then, make their trials and sentences to be widely known nationwide, so anyone would know what would happen to them if they get involved as well.

Though, fighting corruption in such drastic way would require a political administration with much transparency so their actions on combating corrupt officials or private entities would not be pointed out as an act of double standard. Someone once said that if one is willing to fight corruption, then that means to be willing to imprison one's own family and friends.
I agree with your last quote, this is what happens in my country. In my country every candidate cannot run individually for president. There are several regulations that regulate that every citizen must be obliged to join a political party. Yes, if we are part of a political party, of course we will follow the directions of the party leader. And even if he becomes president, he is not free to make decisions about members committing corruption because there are relatives in it. Even though there are examples from other countries where the death penalty is discovered, in my country it is not implemented and translated into Human Rights. This is the root of every country's problem in fighting corruption. Why not just eradicate people like this, this has done a lot of harm to the country and others.

Corruption is something no one can fight completely. but we can curtain it by learning about the danger of it to the community and society. corruption should be discouraged among the youths and children. these the future of the society, if we want to keep a free corrupt society,  But the real fear is that the youths are in ivolved in all kinds of corrupt practices. it will be hard to fight corruption in this generation, butwe must keep speaking against it.
sometime I can't stop but to ask myself weather or not corruption was created in the system of human and the only way out is for the formulation of a systematic approach to governmental affairs,  instead of relying on human formulated governmental policies that have failed a number of time now.

Bit if ther be a system in place that run the government then kt will become an optional or unavailable room for human leadership in government,  this is the only way to get rid of corruption in all totality and make sure to always place the interest of the people first.

The fight against corrupt should be continued and should not be stopped because there are people that have the blood in them to corrupt other people without thinking twice. We need to make sure that we fight for our right and do the right thing and the right time so that will not affect some persons who may need our help to do some certain things.
The main reason why corruption still live with us is that their is not proper measure on dealing with it. To stop corruption it have to be individuals action which is expected to start from us, but the best way I think is to execute any one that is cut going the act and should be seriously punish with out any delay and in a public place where other will witness the punishment and that will serve as lesson to the public, and also mention to them that any one who try to copy the victim shall be punish like this too. To also help in stopping corruption the country have to make available some of penalties for some offences.

It is going to be extremely difficult for this new president to fight corruption because, even his despite intentions, to fight against corruption those who stand by him will try to persuade him and ultimately, what do we think will happen? I think it will eventually fall into their trap, since there are so many parties engaged, the corruption in the nation, it will regrettably continue.
