That's great news but it's quite expected. The Constantinople hard fork is coming, besides the market is finally looking up. I think that Ethereum has a really good chance to reach $200 in the next few days.

In my opinion, Ethereum deserves the second place in the market in terms of capitalization. Its technology is very widely used every day by a huge number of people and development teams working hard for which I am proud of them all ! Welcome back Ethereum
This post put a smile on my face actually. I'm a hardcore Ethereum fan and when I saw ETH taking its second position on coinmarketcap, I was so happy. The market cap is approximately 15.9 billion. I understand the big news around Eth like Constantinople and the likes caused this recent uptrend.

I had no doubt about it, and always believed that Ethereum will restore its rightful second place and will continue its development and accordingly grow in price. I've look the market price early this morning and it still in the 3rd place but it actually change right now.
It is pretty obvious that people whave still giving trust even this coin is a cause of many ICOs fails. The continuous uprising trend of Eth will help for market recovery and bring back into $500, hopefully.
There is no doubt that eth is second to bitcoin for popularity. Though ripple showed the potential of it, it won't take long to stay in place because eth is more usable than ripple. I also believe that ripple is not for long term investment unlike ethereum which supports the other platforms. Im very happy brcause the rank again in 2 and it is good step for the ethereum to become thousands of dollars. Last few weeks ago the rank of ethereum became in the rank 3 and this week again happened and it is two happened.After some years the rank in the ethereum will become rank 1 and I hope it will really hit that. Ethereum gives you opportunity to become you a millionaire.

I don't trust Ripple, I think they saved it's price falsely somehow. Ethereum brought back it's price fair and transparent.
In my hearth ethereum always no 2 spot but even they had taken back the second spot, I think the price should more higher. I always rate ethereum price should be 0.1 of btc and I expect the price around $300

all of that is the effect of hardfork ethereum which will occur in mid-January, this makes people want to immediately buy ethereum before hardfork occurs because people think hardfork will make ethereum prices go up so they buy it so they can get a profit.I also want to do it but capital is my main obstacle, so I'm just going to watch people's parties

For me, it is not surprising that the ethereum would give second place to come down in price by almost 1000%, and grow by almost 100% from the smallest point in order to return to second place.

Yes ethereum are great and they do have more user than ripple even though, ripple right now have a big partnership like CIMB niaga and western union. The sudden surge of eth price right now are related to the hard fork that would happen on 16 january 2019, so i do more curious what ethereum price will be after the hard fork. I think this year Ethereum will greatly increase its capitalization and it will be impossible to catch up after the Ethereum 2.0 project is implemented. I've always believed in him !

I kept saying it myself that ETH will later take back the second position, ripple was just there for a while and that has happened. ETH has been this way for long, it usually falls and next you will see it back on top. I won’t be surprised if this is a sign that there is going to be a bull run very soon.
