It is good to see that centralised crap removed from the number 2 spot, but i wouldn't celebrate just yet. Ripple hasn't pumped yet and it tends to move very sudden and very fast. This will be a close race for the next few months
It deserve to be there after all its been there for the longest time and it just reclaimed its position. I still doubt whether this is the start of the new run since this could just be the result of the Fork plan which people wants to receive these forked tokens. XRP will still be on top though.
Ether is one of the most flexible and popular cryptocurrencies. It is able to perform all the same functions as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, Ripple. In my opinion, 2nd place rightfully belongs to Ethereum.
I knew it won't take long for ethereum to take back its position. This issue has happened a couple of times and eth still got back to no. 2. I told people that were losing hope on ETH because of XRP taking number 2 position, I said its just temporary. It's nice and encouraging, let's hope for ethereum price increase now.
As the hard fork of Ethereum is about to usher in January, the price of ETH has risen rapidly. I am looking forward to the price of ETH going up to new heights.

As far as I know, it happened yesterday too. Amd again Eth lost its value. Anyway, I think ETH definitely should be the 2nd crypto. By the way, it's time to put some bucks in XRP if you want some quick profit. Soon, I believe XRP will again reach at the 2nd position with a little hype.

ethereum has a very large level of trust from the digital currency community. many people believe in ethereum because the coin is used on many Ico projects, by looking at the summary that makes the volume of ethereum transactions very high. we are all optimistic that when we have investments in ethereum, it will increase the income we have. this is a long-term investment, now the graph has started to increase and all of us who have ethereum will certainly benefit.
Maybe it's true if this is related to Hardfork? Last night I read and I can make conclusions and maybe also the question that ethereum will take in its position. Well, it turns out it's true and I think a very good achievement welcomes the beginning of 2019. 
I don't know of I'm just being too hard on Ripple though but, I don't have any trust whatsoever in it and I think it's heading for doom. Ethereum beyond reasonable doubt has had year that was absolutely below par but, I'm sure it is already picking up again slowly and would eventually surpass Ripple once again in the market capitalization.
Wow! How quick was that?! I checked coinmarketcap before making the post quoted above and XRP was still in the 2nd spot with quite a relatively huge difference. I guess that indicates I could be somewhat right. Goodbye XRP! it was nice having you around..
That is really awesome new's and I wish good luck for Ethereum. However, ETH will be higher than XRP and I think that it is fully deserved. Maybe now we will see a bull run of ETH. Need to remember that normal price of Eth is 0.1 BTC per 1 Eth.
Since when "ETH normal price is 0.1 BTC/ETH"? Is it ETH price when it was on ICO (Did ETH even had ICO?). ETH was reached 0.1+ only in 2018 back then (May or March IIRC).I've look the market price early this morning and it still in the 3rd place but it actually change right now.

Yes, let us shout "Welcome back to Ethereum", I was very excited when I saw such changes. I think the advantages of Ethereum will continue to expand.
This is nothing to be surprising but I am amazed that ethereum did not take too long to take out the crown to ripple that long. This could be because of the incoming hardfork where most of us wanted a free altcoin which will be above $10 each coin for sure. This might be a bad news for ripple and only a proof that ethereum will always be the king of all altcoins.
The battle between ethereum and ripple continue and I, think ripple will try every chance to raise their position to get back to the 2nd place. But I don't think that ethereum will easily to give up with the ripple and I am sure that ethereum will defend their position. It will continue for this week, and I wonder who will be the second place in coinmarketcap. But I have a strong feeling that ethereum can defense the 2nd place this year.
