Oh boy......I really do not know what to say anymore.

As Helmut said, I have no doubt Vegas and the rest of the people involved ve had best intention in building a nice, differentiated coin. However, all I ve seen so far s been failure after failure. This is why I have left FLY team after all, I simply wasn't able to follow all these wallet forks, wallet updates, strategy changes, PoS rate changes, hack attempts, people who got coins via swap and were part of the initial team dumping like hell, exchanges putting wallet into maintenance for months, exchange delisting coin cause of feud with the devs, main devs leaving and being changed, etc.

All this brings constant INSTABILITY and the lack of TRUST which is crucial in crypto since competition s so fierce. When I do my personal math, I ve lost about 4 BTC on Fly. I got into it on a recommendation of a friend, it was my personal decision and I really hoped we might have something here.

Now I m really disappointed and not sure what to do next.

VegasCoin could cause a lot of confusion - I agree that a merge would be wrong (but not the suggestion) and rolling back chains are never popular and should be avoided.

Fallout, dont fear criticism if its well sorted and find a positive end!

I am also not a fan of rollbacks! Actually, we are discussing first a lot of opportunities. I think, we really have now the chance, to do everything right now. So...give us ur proposals too. We investigate now from the scratch!

A swap can be very positive, if the coin get a great new core or features, where a swap seems inevitable.

The suggestion was to include vegascoin in some kind of swap.

Apologies if that post came across a bit harsh, but its my honest opinion, which was asked for. I am obviously frustrated at where this coin is at.
If we now start rolling back chains and merging with dead shitcoins that will be the final straw for me, I wont be supporting anything like that.

If I understand correctly - the suggestion was to change
the name to VegasCoin (since it is dead) not to merge with it.

My two cents worth. Merging with a dead shitcoin isn't going to inspire confidence. If you have lost some of your holdings, sorry but you should write them off. Chain rollbacks to get your coins back will make FLY a total and utter joke and I wouldnt expect it to happen for me or anyone else. You will still hold the majority. Treat them as burned coins and lower the total supply at the same time. If a hardfork and rebrand is needed so be it but do not pollute the waters even further by turning FLY into a hybrid shitcoin. Start from scratch if you must but have FLY stand on its own two feet.

As for XDE2 and how well its going, I cant say I am a fan. I think that is a major reason FLY has suffered in the first place.

So, a few paths to take from here.. Rollback the chain, take coins from people who have been legitimately staking, create some kind of hybrid shitcoin, fill the teams and community wallets with some new imaginary swapped coin and give the doubters and fudders even more reason to think the whole thing is a giant scam

or get hold of a dev who will be in it for the long haul, simplify the wallet, make it stable, burn some of the 'lost' supply and start fresh. Be upfront about who holds what, no gimmicks or merges with other coins. Make a name for team FLY by creating a working stable coin that doesnt rely on special wallets and the favors of the dev to attract people. Legitimacy is what is needed, not more swaps and community wallets.

or...throw the whole thing in the recycle bin and be done with it.

I agree, the inital hardforks hurt us. So thats why we have cooled it with that. I think this is a chance for a fresh start. The coins name was hurt because of all of the hardforks. I had an idea, but I need community feedback. Many people want Vegascoin back alive again. I was thinking of rebranding to Vegascoin. Other sites that I am not affiliated can host slots for Vegascoin. I think it will be easier for exchanges to accept Vegascoin. Assuming the current Vegascoin is alive , they would be included in the swap, but at a MUCH higher ratio. We are doing a great promotion with xde2, and its everywhere. Im using the community wallet to fund it. I would so the same with Vegascoin. I think a reband is good, because based on the exchanges fly does not have a good name because of the initial hardforks.  So this is simply a suggestion, rollback the chain about 9 days (this will return my funds while be build an amazing Vegascoin wallet), and if it is approved by the community, then we can choose a nice upgraded wallet with all the features, and I can enhance all of the graphics, and we can even make it a hybrid pow/pos coin with very low rewards to keep inflation in check. Banks are already adopting bitcoin, casinos are starting to look at it too. It wont be long before they accept Vegascoin. Please give feedback.

I am deeply sad, what happened. But this community went through hell. So, I am totally sure, that a new start of this coin is the best ever, what could happen. CLEAN CODE,...NEVER SHIT in the code more...

alternative, a rollback with an old chain also possible.

But the fact, that we could change everything, would begin a new era. This would be a winner coin, if we use all the experiences we collected, to make this accident to a new star.
FLY is a strong name...the name is really good. 

So...my 2 cents...

he did great with europecoin and bitsend

and choose a POS/masternode coin as new template
and restart fly with him as new dev
ion is close the release a new wallet that codebase could be a nice start
let ur choosen dev check out their testnet
its a pure pos coin with masternodes

and stop hardforking the shit out of this coin

i guess even if some might say the show is over already
that could give ya a comeback chance

the loss of invested BTC nearly certain
but the entertainment u provide us is worth it

if we get a counter for how many hardforks this coin had
and then list the reason for each

that alone can be sold as a book of great comedian value

but it seems to be me the whole chain of events is unreal unlucky that i can stop laughing if i start thinking about the history of FLYCOIN

The Reason Ivan is because it was the windows wallet that was compromised. I have a clean version of it now that I have scanned with virus total. However, the only victim is myself. When I saw the virus, I immediately moved my coins to another wallet, and password protected it. At that moment I didnt notice that the virus partially crippled my antikeylogger. So what happened was when I encrypted the wallet after I moved my funds , my antikeylogger was not acting correct, and now I cannot get into my wallet that holds 10's of thousands of fly. Trust me ive tried everything for hours, and it will not unlock. I still have my original wallet from 9 days ago when I moved my coins , so we could do a chain rollback, or a coin swap. This would put us on a new chain, and we can even clone any of the latest wallet out there and use it. I need to get feedback on this first. But thats were we sit. My coins are there, I just cannot unlock the wallet.
