Son Heung-Min has been a very crucial player for Spurs for close to a decade, he’s one of the most influential members of the squad. I wouldn’t have blamed Son if he left the club and went somewhere where he could win trophies. His loyalty to the club is unquestionable. Yes, Son’s performance has declined a bit, but I think the club should keep him because he stuck with Spurs even though they couldn’t give him a trophy in all the years he played for Spurs.
The South Korean player might not be in good form now but he deserves at least a year extension for his loyalty and service to the club for ten years. Son Heung-Min confirmed two days ago that there have been no talks with the club concerning his future but I think he wants to remain in the club to help them win silverware this season. The Saudi Professional League and the Major League Soccer have given players at his age to earn good money and also enjoy football before retirement. Maybe some other low-placed clubs in the EPL might decide to get his service because he still has the quality and is highly experienced.
Son Heung-Min has been admitted that between him and Tottenham owner there was no further negotiation about new contract but Son Heung-Min said he didn't think about it now because currently his focus is to bringing Tottenham to performing well and actually Son Heung-Min has the clause into his current contract that after his contract ended Tottenham can extended his contract for next 12 month so Tottenham can activated this clause if they want
We all know Son Heung-Min is the current captain and the fans is always be likes him because of his behaviour and since 2015 Son Heung-Min can scores 164 goals from 414 matches and after Kane leave Son Heung-Min has taking over Kane position as the captain and although last season he was linked to some of clubs but Son Heung-Min has been showing his loyality for Tottenham so he deserved to gets new contract
To add that Tottenham played 5 games and scored 9 goals. But Son Heung-Min played 5 games, scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists. This means that he helped a lot for Tottenham to have those 9 goals. So keeping him in the team for at least 2 seasons would be a decision. I know that he is currently 32 years old, but he still has good physical conditions to continue in the Premier League for 2 seasons and perform well. Tottenham's problem is not with Son Heung-Min, Tottenham's problem is with the coach. Unfortunately, Tottenham have not been able to find a coach who brings titles and with this current coach, Tottenham will not have titles.
Erik ten Hag's reputation on the MU board of directors is increasingly declining, as the Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw by Twente in their Europa League debut. Despite spending a large sum of money, bringing to Old Trafford 5 new players to upgrade the squad in the summer transfer market, MU has not shown any change after a difficult start.
In my eyes, MU's performance this season is really bad. Even though some key players were injured, what Ten Hag and his team did was unacceptable. "Putting injuries aside, the team's form is very bad. Most other teams have injuries, not just MU. Ultimately, a coach who has no specific tactics, poor purchasing ability, and is not consistently motivating - I think he deserves to be fired.
Recently Manchester United has spent a lot of money on new players to change the game tactics which were very bad last year. Even though there have been corrections to MU players, there were also no changes in the first match in the Europa League against Twente, physically and the team's performance was very poor which is normal.
Many of MU key players were injured but it was not a fatal problem. At least the management can see a replacement for Erik ten Hag who can help Manchester United win the Europa League and their Domestic League, which has very tight competition this season.
Manchester United's problem is that the management has made many mistakes in hiring coaches and firing good players. There have been clear cases where the management could intervene and tell the coach not to fire a player because of personal problems. But unfortunately the management of Manchester United has always been on the coach's side even when he is wrong.
