Mesut Ozil, a former Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Germany player, has announced publicly that he is quitting the game of football. He is 34 years old and a leader on the field. The details were made clear on his Instagram page, and I believe it is too soon for him to retire from football. As an example, consider Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is 41 years old and still eager to play more minutes for AC Milan. Mention how well Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are performing for their respective clubs. Mesut Ozil's main issue, however, was a history of injuries. He hardly got enough playing time because he was frequently ineligible for matches.
Mesut Ozil is one of the most famous players in the world; he is a creative midfielder with great talent and accurate passes; he sees angles that other players do not see when it comes to assists; despite not having great strikers while at Arsenal, he stands among the great midfielders with the highest number of assists in football history.
I wish him all the best.

The question is, do Barcelona really need Messi? This season Xavi has been able to prove that Barcelona without Messi can become a strong team by being at the top of the standings until week 26 of La-Liga. If Messi returns to Barcelona, won't it make some players think that Messi is a target man who must get a continuous supply of balls and put his hopes of victory on a Messi. If this is happens, i think it would be a bad thing because it could reduce the balance of players currently owned by Barcelona. For me, better to let Messi go to Arab and build new record for his football career before he was retired.

If you mean Barcelona is strong team in domestic tournaments only, yeah you are correct. But they were humiliated in Europe, not once, but twice, both in UCL and then UEL. In the other side, Messi still can't go well with PSG in UCL, so I don't think it's impossible for them to reunite again and that's not a bad option. The only reason why Messi became a target man in his last seasons in Barca was, no one could replaced Suarez position after his departure by creating plenty of goals, so he had to do that himself. Griezmann was playing well with Messi but unfortunately he is not a target man. Now with Lewa in Camp Nou, I think both of him and Messi could be a great duo and play well along with Raphinha, Gavi or Pedri.

During his 17 year football career, Ozil has shown pretty good performance at any club he has played for, Madrid and Arsenal are two big clubs that have helped Ozil a lot with every contribution, I personally am quite sad to hear the news if Ozil has officially retired because after all Ozil is still can play in the future but unfortunately injury has forced Ozil to retire early, I hope that one day Ozil can return to take part in football even as a coach and we say thanks M10.

Mesut Özil was one of those players I would call a generational talent and genius. He was mostly Known during his days at Real Madrid and Arsenal but he was so such a delight to watch in his boyhood club Schalke were he bust to the great stage before moving to Weder Bremen were he stormed the world with his eagle eyes assist having a 50 goal + assist combination at such a young age.

Özil didn’t retire because of injury but because he continuously comes out to challenge attacks on vulnerable people and that got him into trouble both with his club and government. He is regarded an excellent by many and has been a victim of attacks by media since he spoke openly about the killing of Muslims in China. He will seriously be missed

If Manchester United are willing to pay Harry Kane €100 million, why not Osimhen. at least, Osimhen is still young, playing for two or three seasons with United, Osimhen still has quite high selling power. at least, Osimhen is very worthy of being priced at 150 million euros. he is a talented young player, his career will shine even more if he plays at an English league club. if United dare to pay Antony a high price, it is not impossible to bring in Osimhen in the transfer market next summer. at least, Osimhen's transfer value is still far behind that of Haaland. even so, I'm pretty sure that Ten Hag will try to find other options players who have the same quality.

Both are good strikers but the transfer fee will surely be a big factor for United to pick. If Harry Kane should come cheaper as 70M then United will have picked him outrightly but 100M is too much for a 30 year striker. For Osimhen, United are very much skeptical because this is the best season in his Career so far and as a young striker outside the premier league United are worried maybe he could handle the pressure of the league. Harry Kane might be more experienced than him but Osimhen certainly provides more years than him but United might not get an instant top performance from him like they will get with Kane

It's easy for osimhen to choose which one from chelsea and MU, but the question is, are MU and chelsea willing to buy him 150 million euros? i doubt if MU or chelsea will be agreed with such offer that came from napoli. Napoli's president was also changing his mind.

he has been giving ultimatums to the EPL teams who are interested in osimhen. Napoli wanna held talks once there was a team who agreed to buy osimhen with 150 millions euro

That's crazy amount of money for sure. I thought that if chelsea or MU will not try to spend lots of money on him.

On the other hand, if Todd Boehly is really interested in Osimhen, it is not impossible that in the transfer market next summer he is serious about bringing him to Stamford Brigde. So, let's just wait and see if one of these clubs is willing to spend that much money. interesting for us to look forward to.

Mesut Ozil has officially retired from professional football at the age of 34. One of the greatest footballer of our era. He’s one of the players that made us fall in love with football. He was a magician on the football pitch and a  rare breed of playmakers. To be honest he was one of the most creative midfielders I have watched. Sees farther than anyone else on the pitch. Though had some down moments, I wish him well in his future endeavors. The world of football will miss him. He was insane at his prime. It’s just unfortunate that towards the end of his career, things weren’t going his way and I think that resulted to this early retirement.

I definitely agree, that Özil at his prime was a joy to watch because he was one of those very few players that seemingly enjoyed giving assists more than scoring the goals himself. That is also the reason why he was so popular among his teammates. I still remember, that Cristiano Ronaldo was very happy, when Mesut Özil left Real Madrid back then and of course there was a reason for that. Özil was the one who gave the most assists to CR7.
I also think though that his connection with Erdogan was pretty weird because it was so obvious that Erdogan only used Özil to become more popular and his last few years were also very unlucky. So i think we should remember Özil when he was playing for Werder Bremen, Real Madrid and Arsenal.

Erdoğan is a former amateur football player and despite his advanced age, he scored great goals in a charity show match a few years ago (https://youtu.be/aVxJzVjCWVc?t=46). In addition, he renovated many football stadiums in Turkey and provided football clubs with infrastructure facilities. Erdogan has had special services to the football world, in Turkey. For this reason, all football players who have close or distant relations with Turkey sympathize with Erdoğan and want to give an image to the press with him. Anyway, our topic is not politics, our topic here is football.

I will remember Mesut with his goal against Ludogorets in the champions league. I think that goal was a great goal and a goal that matches Mesut's football character to a great extent.

all the teams (PSG, Bayern, MU, Chelsea) that are competing for Osimhen are teams that are able to pay whatever price Osimhen is offered by Napoli, but reportedly Osimhen is more interested in competing hard in the EPL, so it is certain that Osimhen will choose one MU or chelsea.

but i'm not sure whether Osimhen will be suitable if he is at MU because currently there are many choices for MU attackers and adding Osimhen will definitely make one of them not play as a starter as well as Chelsea, the Osimhen transfer puzzle is very worthy to continue to be followed.

Today, I learned that Mesut Özil said goodbye to football after an emotional post he made on his official Instagram account. He had some injury issues recently. He touched on this subject and mentioned that he had difficulty in playing football now. He was one of the top 10 numbers of recent times during his prime. He had a very good harmony on the field with Ronaldo. In the years they played together, they created very good statistics and Real Madrid achieved great success. It was fun watching him, I wish him to enjoy his retirement life.

surprised to hear this news but yes he played at the end of his career because he was often injured. however he is a legend in football he has millions of fans who follow him on social media especially from his character which is quite impressive when on the field. Indeed, some players choose to retire early and others are still struggling to continue playing until the age of 41, like Ibrahimovic. From a physical point of view, it is likely that players who have reached 35 years and over will not be too strong anymore but that is not a strong reason for them to retire early because they can look for an easier league for their final days in the world of football.

In this case I really appreciate the decision Ozil made, he will always be the idol of young players and I hope he will have a better job after he retires from football.

he's a muslim player and he retired to coincide with the entry of the blessed month of ramadhan.

I'm quite sad after hearing this news, considering I was very entertained when Mesut Ozil played the ball on the pitch and I think he played very beautiful football. But maybe this is a difficult decision, he has to retire from the sport he loves so far. As one of the kings of assists with a score of 259 in all club and national team competitions, his name will always be remembered by all football lovers.

He was one of the best playmaker of his generation, unselfish player, and Ozil is someone who prefers assist to goal. His peak performance was at Real Madrid where he formed a strong bond with Ronaldo and Benzema. Sometimes I think he was not appreciated enough. Only very few players can match his technical brilliance. Few can even see the game in the way he does, let alone do the things he does with the ball at his feet.

It's always tough to see a great player retire, and Ozil is no exception.

He truly was an amazing player who had great statistics. His record of being the top assist provider in all major competitions is truly remarkable that proved his talent and dedication. He left major impact through football and will be remembered as one of the greatest midfielders of all time. During his playing at Real Madrid will forever remain special. We wish him all the best in his retirement and hope he enjoys this next chapter of his life.

Victor Osimhen is the most wanted Napoli player by Europe's top teams. As we all know, he is a striker who is very thirsty for goals in every match and often becomes a key player in winning for the club he defends. With the latest market value reaching 100 million euros, several top European teams such as Manchester City, PSG, Bayern Munich and Chelsea are starting to be interested in bringing him in this summer. What do you think, which team will get the services of the 24-year-old striker?

Mesut Özil was far from his former high form.  He had expectations that his performance would be high, especially after he was transferred to Fenerbahçe, but he could not achieve what he expected there.  I think the main problem for Mesut was that he couldn't catch up after the injuries.

Mesut Özil is constantly injured, and that hinders his career. in terms of quality, no one will doubt that Mesut Özil is a very good assist provider.
decided to hang up his boots, it was a tough choice, but of course, he had considered it well. however, he also will not force himself to continue on the field with his performance disrupted due to the injury that continues to haunt him.

I don't think Antonio Conte is the problem in Tottenham, he got a good experience and he knows his work very well also the tactic he uses for Tottenham is not bad but the important thing is they don't have enough good players in the team to do the plans he gives to the team. Also regarding Harry Kane, I think after the offers he got from Manchester United and Real Madrid, it seems like he is not motivated anymore and can't focus on the team like before.
Totenham's players didn't have miror to be honest. Conte was attacking totenham due to the some reasons which actually make sense in my opinion. Conte was trying to say all of things that already become the main problems that owned by totenham. That will be a horrible thing if totenham's players can't accept the truth about the team. I wanna laugh when i were seeing only a few trophies that already sit on the totenham's trophy cabinets.

I hope that if daniel levy will try to consider what already said by conte as a critics to the club. Totenham will never ever won trophy if this club keeps try to defend its habits. Totenham can be called as a mediocrea club in EPL as well.

This is the fact

But what are realistic expectations for Tottenham? To win the Premier League? The Champions League?

Of course they are not a bad team, but nobody would say at the beginning of the season that rank 4 is a bad achievement for them. I am a bit puzzled what people actually expect from them. If they were to win the FA cup and rank 4th in the table at the end of the season, wouldn't that be an almost perfect season for them?

I also know that there are a lot of Harry Kane fans and he is a good striker, but to me he has never been this world class striker who stood out from the rest. Very good, yes, but not constant enough. He reached 30 goals in the Premier League in 2017/2018, but that's it. He usually is a 20 goals guy. The seasons 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 were also very decent, but now I don't really understand why Bayern seems to still be interested in him.

what is very strange is that he is not old yet, he is 34 years old and even with so much talent he went to play in turkey instead of still playing in a big team, I cannot understand that, why he went to play in turkey when Is he a good player and still old enough to play well at a big club? maybe this retirement of his could be because he saw that he no longer has a chance to play in a big team and retire in a big team, he wasn't as lucky as messi and ronaldo who are older than him and are still playing and even are called upon to represent their countries

It must be noted that napoli will not be giving a response to any offer below £150  millions. The only rich club that will able to buy him. Im sure that if real madrid is also seeing it as an opportunity. £150 millions or never. It's very interesting to watch how any big clubs will be competing to get his service from napoli.

Osimhen is without a doubt a great player, but it is necessary to take into account that real madrid in recent times has not spent much on signings, that is why I think that real madrid will not pay that amount for Osimhen, they will choose other players. napoli will have to lower the price if they want to be bought. we have to look at other things, in case napoli manage to win serie A and go further in the champions league, they will not want to stay with Osimhen knowing that nothing will guarantee that next season napoli will have the same performance, until now napoli are setting this high price to drive away buyers because they need Osimhen to stay focused until the season is over
