Manchester City have denied they are willing to sell Portugal midfielder Bernardo Silva, 27, to Barcelona after reports his departure could fund a deal for Lyon's Brazil midfielder Lucas Paqueta. Does this mean that Silva is staying in Manchester or is it just a negotiating tactic?
I don't think Manchester City have any reason to sell Bernado Silva, he is a very important player for City, especially in the way Pep wants them to play, i am pretty sure Silva is staying at the Etihad, and even if City are to sell Silva, he will cost so much, and Barcelona can't afford him, they have spent so much money this summer already, but the Blaugrana club have been pulling up surprises this summer transfer window, so they could still do one more.
Having said that, i am not aware of City's interest in the player you mentioned, i doubt City are interested in any more attacking players/midfielders, for now i think they have one more deal to complete which should be the end of their summer business, and that is to get a left back, Cucurella is the selected one, but Brighton are asking for too much, City might explore other options elsewhere soon.
