Yes, because Barcelona's management are too confident in their 'newcomers', so getting a place in the main squad will now be very difficult for Depay. All in all I hope to see him move to another team, I want to see what he can do outside Barcelona, plus he will get regular playing practice. They can't ruin a player like that by not letting him on the field

Depay should have chosen a club that would give him more places in the squad. I don't know why he didn't want to leave Barcelona. because Juventus is not a small club that will be in arrears of salary. if he stays at Barcelona, maybe Depay will get very few opportunities to enter the main squad.
This reminds me of Bale at Real Madrid.

Especially after Edinson Cavani left the Old Trafford, Manchester United will play with one striker and Cristiano as the main striker, the suitable alternative at this time is Anthony Martial. Besides that I don't take Juventus seriously with him, even after Dybala left Juventus still have Vlahovic and recently bring Federico Chiesa, not only that they also have Moise Kean.
Besides Anthony Martial, several names such as Roberto Firmino,
Timo Werner and Memphis Depay have reportedly made Juventus interested in signing one of them, and are more enable to look at these names than Martial if look at their performances last season.
Martial was one of those young talents that admire. Since after his arrival to Manchester United, and the coach that signed him left, the club has never believed the young lad. From leaving his position to Ibrahimovic to leaving it to Cavani and all the men are old, blocking the chances of the young star in the club. This season that we think he will prove himself, Ronaldo is still around to block him finally.
If Martial feels threatened in Old Trafford, he should leave .

I think he is just being shown a lot of hope and nothing of that hope is being turned into reality. There is someone who always keeps him from playing for the first team. I think it is high time he moved and found his future in another club. He will not be able to grow if he keeps playing for Manchester United. Obviously, things could be different if he was actually given a reasonable amount of chances to do so. In other teams, I think he will do better. With the situation Manchester United is in right now, it's not a smart idea for any individual player to hope for better things with this club.

I believe that if a big team entered the UCL and was interested in Cristiano then I'm sure he would immediately move there. next year Cristiano contract will expire, if MU next season does not also enter the UCL then with his strong intentions, there is no reason for Cristiano to stay at MU, speculation about Cristiano's future at MU is quite interesting.

Yes, the speculations from all over going round are really interesting. It’s obvious Ronaldo desperately wants to play in the champions league and he thought Manchester United could help him along his way during the last season but he was mistaken and was looking elsewhere, anywhere that could help him achieve his goals and ambitions. With his absence on the preseason tour, speculations ran wild about him leaving as it has been somewhat obvious to everyone that he wants to out of Manchester United.
Now, he’s back at Old Trafford with the team. I see an improvement in Manchester United and hopefully, they could as well help Ronaldo to achieve his ambitions along the way.

If I'm not mistaken, Barcelona added Depay to their squad for free. He's still a big star, but he didn't have a very bright time in Barcelona. If Barcelona want to get rid of him, they should facilitate his transfer. If Barcelona facilitates his transfer, he can transfer to another team where he can play in the starting 11th. Giant teams such as Newcastle, Tottenham, Milan and Inter are known to be interested in him.
Yes, Barcelona signed Depay for free in the transfer window 2021/2022.
Sure, Depay is still a big player although he can't play as expected in Barcelona. Depay also always becomes the key player in the Netherland squad.
Indeed, Barcelona must facilitate his transfer if Barcelona wants him to leave as soon as possible. Barcelona should give respect to his contribution to Barcelona, at least Depay still played with his best although he got a cut of his salary. Regarding of a possible team for his next destination, I think he must choose a team where he can be the main player. In my opinion, AC Milan and Newcastle are the best options, Tottenham and Inter already have too many strikers.

After Cristiano Ronaldo complained about all the rumors, the media has calmed down around him. Nowadays it's really bad how rumors develop and spread, but I also think it's okay that he stays with ManU. What happens after his contract expires will be interesting.

Chelsea have two targets: Frenkie de Jong and Bernardo Silva. However both of them are very tough ones. Frenkie de Jong is likely to be kept by Barcelona this summer but there is still a slight chance for a possible transfer. As for Bernardo Silva, Manchester City aren't thinking about selling him now. He is important for his team and they wouldn't even want to sell him to a rival team I guess. Therefore Chelsea had better have some backup plans.

Newcastle are trying to stay active in this transfer window and they have two targets ahead of them now according to rumours. These targets are James Maddison and Maxwel Cornet. Leicester want a really huge sum like 50 million pounds for Maddison. I don't expect Cornet to cost too much for Newcastle as his market price is even 15 million euros. Newcastle have an insane budget now and I think that signing these players can make them stronger. I'm saying this for especially Maddison.
That won't be enough for them to matter, but Newcastle is not buying these players or at least not aiming to buy these players because they want to win a title or something. I have talked about this before, they can't go with PSG route and pay 200 million for Neymar like player, they have to just do it slow by slow, and eventually they will be 10th then 7th then 5th and then they will fight for a championship position for many years, and even get a title eventually if the owner stays.

So that means we are going to see them win something, but it won't be this year hence why these type of transfers when we all know they could just buy some team for a billion dollars, pay whatever to get stars, wouldn't be wise.

Apart from Dortmund already having quite a number of strikers in their squad, signing Ronaldo is like going against their philosophy which prioritizes bringing in young players to develop. While buying Ronaldo is not a good investment for Dortmund, after all, winning trophies is not Dortmund's top priority.
Dortmund didn't always buy young players, they sometimes buy old players. In the current transfer window, they already signed 2 old players (Haller and Meyer). Haller is 28 years old, while Meyer is 31 years old. So, I don't think the main reason to refuse Ronaldo's transfer is his age. The main reason is Dortmund already has enough strikers, so they don't need a new one, especially a player who has a high salary. Although having Ronaldo will give the advantage of many options of quality strikers, but his salary can bring a problem for Dortmund financial.

What's this? Are there any other rumors about Ronaldo? I've been missing something like this for the last few days and previously I thought the Ronaldo speculation was over but it seems it's not over in the news yet.
After Bayern now Dortmund Cheesy It's interesting entertainment because indeed this will just be another joke I think.
Now it seems that Ronaldo is starting to return to activity with Manchester United after his long holiday.

You know, I think it's better to go to Juventus than to endure this attitude from Barcelona, the team that needs the player himself. They tell him directly that they do not need him, so if I were Memphis, I would consider a move to another club, and Juventus is a very good option, I think he would be welcome there

Depay himself admitted that he did not want to leave Barcelona. maybe he still wants to play for Xavi's plans.
but it looks like Barcelona offered the player to Juventus. and I think Juve is a good place for Depay.
Barcelona still has serious problems at the club, although improvements are being made. I'm afraid it will take quite a while. Depay may have to find a good club for his future.

Yes, I know, I said earlier that he didn't want to leave the club. But I don't see the club having any major problems other than financial, which will be with them for a long time to come. Are there problems in the squad? I'm not sure if only minor ones. Is there a problem in the game? Who hasn't...
I hope he will feel normal at Juventus and he won't feel betrayed.
A move to Juventus will be a very nice decision to depay, cause it seems with the signing of lewandowski and raphinha and other new players, I don't think his appearance is further needed in the team. Instead of being in the bench, I think he should make a move to Juventus , were his present will be much appreciated.

They have been very active actually, but indeed they still haven't made a significant breakthrough because they are aware of the process and don't want to rush to recruit players with quality and have a name there.
I think there will be something interesting showing them this season, considering that with some purchases now they should be able to get a top 8 position.

Remembering how the situation developed quickly at the time and Cristiano left Juventus, I would still not rush to conclusions about the immediate future of the player. In my opinion, no one will be very surprised if Ronaldo extends his contract with Manchester United in the near future and immediately goes on loan for one season to some club that participates in the Champions League, especially since it seems that the leadership of the MU itself is not much against such a prospect. Yes, it can be said that the conversations have subsided and now the probability of a player leaving is much less, but still the probability of such a transfer should not be completely excluded, especially since it seems that the player has significantly reduced his requests. No matter what has been said recently about Ronaldo, but the level of his game is still high and there may well be a willing club that could not afford a football player on financial terms before, and now wants to take advantage of such an incredible chance in the changed conditions.

Gabriel Slonina is a potential goalkeeper I think at a very young age, but in this case I actually still feel that Chelsea are just wasting their money on this transfer.
At the moment Mendy is still quite tactical in their defense even though he is 30 years old but it is quite clear that he will still be the main choice for now.

I don't think so, If you could recall last season Mendy had a stressful season he almost keep in all the Chelsea's matches both important and unimportant matches while kepa was still there, In my humble opinion Mendy need an assistant ,So they made a wise move in getting the young goal keeper to support Mendy in case of possible injury or just saving him the stress of keeping in some minor games. I really love Chelsea when it comes to signing of keepers they got the eye in selecting quality goal keeper,  still believe that this young keeper is gonna be great keeper if everything is done.
Chelsea have a good eye for goalkeepers, we have seen some really good goalkeepers like Petr Cech, Courtois, Kepa succeed in the English premier league. Mendy featured in a lot of games last season which wouldn't be if they had a trusted substitute keeper as an option for small games and less difficult competitions. I believe he must have be over stressed for featuring in most of the games which will be avoided if they get a good keeper as a backup for Mendy.

the whispers are growing here in Italy.
Juventus seems to have taken a strong interest in Milinkovic Savic from Lazio to be able to reinforce the midfield.
The Lazio shop is very expensive, we are talking about a figure of around 60-70 million euros.
Milinkovic Savic appears to be the only one who has been linked to several European clubs for conservative seasons now and yet nothing has been done, the price tag of €60-70m is fair enough for someone of his quality, he's been linked to Chelsea and Manchester United this summer yet nothing concrete has been done, is it because Lazio are difficult to negotiate with or the player's camp is difficult to negotiate with. Milinkovic Savic is an outstanding player.

He's just trying to clear the air after being rejected by several European clubs. He's just trying not to look bad, but we all know his agent contacted several clubs.

Chelsea made attempt to bring in a new centre back but RB Leipzig have not intention of letting go of the Croatian international. Todd Boehly's not giving up on this deal as binds a swap deal with Timo Werner loan deal but let's see how it goes because it all depends on the possible discussion between the two club. Chelsea are seriously in need of a centre back because their is big space at their defense line and looks like these young Players might find it difficult to fitin on time.
Chelsea are really in need of a centre back and we have heard quite some names in their search for centre backs and so far only Koulibaly has joined this summer with another expected to join before the end of the transfer window. A move for RB Leipzig's centre back is a good move but it comes down to if and only if Leipzig will be willing to let their player go in this  transfer window but if not Chelsea will have to look for other alternatives.

Manchester City have denied they are willing to sell Portugal midfielder Bernardo Silva, 27, to Barcelona after reports his departure could fund a deal for Lyon's Brazil midfielder Lucas Paqueta. Does this mean that Silva is staying in Manchester or is it just a negotiating tactic?  Cheesy
I don't think Manchester City have any reason to sell Bernado Silva, he is a very important player for City, especially in the way Pep wants them to play, i am pretty sure Silva is staying at the Etihad, and even if City are to sell Silva, he will cost so much, and Barcelona can't afford him, they have spent so much money this summer already, but the Blaugrana club have been pulling up surprises this summer transfer window, so they could still do one more. Grin

Having said that, i am not aware of City's interest in the player you mentioned, i doubt City are interested in any more attacking players/midfielders, for now i think they have one more deal to complete which should be the end of their summer business, and that is to get a left back, Cucurella is the selected one, but Brighton are asking for too much, City might explore other options elsewhere soon.

I think it would be a lot more realistic if Chelsea actually sought after players who were not on very good terms with their teams. They should also look for clubs that are more willing to let their players depart.

But whatever they have to do they should do it fast. Otherwise, they are going to leak a lot of goals. Right now I am hearing that Chelsea is trying their finest to get a defender ASAP. And in the media, they are talking about Chelsea being linked with a lot of clubs. But I don’t think all of that is true.
