Real Madrid have enquired about the availability of Chelsea's Albania striker Armando Broja, 20, who impressed on loan at Southampton last season. Very interesting news. Is Real already preparing for the era after Benzema?
Chelsea's Germany forward Timo Werner, 26, has accepted a 50% pay cut to rejoin RB Leipzig - and a loan fee with a purchase clause is being discussed. This is also a bit of surprising news to me as it looked like he was either going to stay at Chelsea or move to another big club this summer, I think some big Spanish clubs were mentioned?
Barcelona's Memphis Depay, 28, is among Juventus' options for a new attacking option along with Werner and Atletico Madrid's Spain striker Alvaro Morata, 29, but there have been no direct talks between Tottenham and the Netherlands forward. Juve have done a very good job with transfers this summer and are clearly preparing to return to the top of Italian football.
Manchester City have denied they are willing to sell Portugal midfielder Bernardo Silva, 27, to Barcelona after reports his departure could fund a deal for Lyon's Brazil midfielder Lucas Paqueta. Does this mean that Silva is staying in Manchester or is it just a negotiating tactic?
Barcelona president Joan Laporta says there is a "strong possibility" Manchester United target Frenkie de Jong will stay at the club and he will "do my best" to keep the Netherlands midfielder. So, in the end, Jong succeeded in his plan to stay in Barcelona?

https://www.bbc.com/sport/62351122Sooner or later, Real Madrid will have to prepare for that next era after Benzema. So I think they are already starting the process.
—— I have actually been very surprised by the news that Timo Werner is joining RB Leipzig with a 50% pay cut. This was surely a forced decision to leave Chelsea. I expected him to move to a bigger and better team, to be honest. But this is also not an entirely bad move. They finished fourth in the last season.
—— Juventus is making some wise transfers. And I really like that they are taking decisions by staying under the radar. So the players that they are targeting are not being chased by a lot of other things which can increase the value. Still no clear news. But they are obviously on a hunt.
—— It is actually quite difficult to say about Bernardo Silva because I don't believe that Barcelona is willing to spend more money this season. But at the same time, we have seen unexpected things happen. But personally, I think this player is going to stay in Manchester City.
—— So, my question is what is going to happen about the pay cut? Frankie De Jong has agreed to take the pay cut or is Barcelona not even offering him a pay cut if he stays with them?
