It is still very possible in this case, although for now we certainly realize that Chelsea's performance has developed but for the productivity of the attack line, especially for the targetman they currently have, it is still not optimal.

Jackson still can't contribute more and actually extending Jackson's contract unreasonably makes Chelsea's own trouble I think so that when there is indeed no satisfaction from the coach regarding the attack line, Osimhen can still stay at Chelsea in the end.

We must be aware that money is sometimes not an obstacle for Chelsea and even in the last few seasons, Chelsea has always been loyal even though their performance continues to decline and now Maresca has tried his best to be better in terms of performance so Todd will likely give anything to support this.

In as much as Chelsea has been delivering a very top performance this season, I think they need a better man upfront. No doubt, Jackson has been offering his best, but I believe Chelsea will deliver better when there is a better man with experience upfront. The only problem now is that Jackson's contract was extended, which won't make any sense to use him as a second striker considering the amount on ground, except Todd doesn't care much, but how well will the FFP react?.

If there is any way Chelsea can balance their books, I would advise that they go for someone with quality. Oshimen will be preferable, but if Chelsea can get Gyokeres for a good amount without causing any form of imbalance to their book, then they should get him instead. And I think there needs to be some addition to the defense as well especially in that center back role. They need someone with a better experience.

Victor Oshimen and Viktor Gyökeres are both goal-hungry strikers and maybe the current Man United coach can't buy 2 players at once, not because they can't afford it, but because they have to obey the rules regarding the financial regulations that have been set, so the Man United coach must choose one of them, whether it's Victor Oshimen or Viktor Gyökeres, in my opinion, the most important thing is that Man United needs a striker who can be relied on and most importantly Amorim can understand their playing style.
Buying 2 strikers at the same time will cost a lot and how would the coach line them up? Will he have to bench Amad Diallo or Garnacho to create space for them? And how would they do about Hojlund would he be sold or benched? It’s impossible to get them both and use them perfectly.

Osimehn and Gyökeres are both two top strikers that needs to move to a bigger team and with Chelsea monitoring them both Manchester United need to also act fast if they want to get either of them, i think Amorim will like to work with Gyökeres because of their relationship at Sporting CP. Both strikers are good players that can score goals but will Osimhen suit Manchester United’s style of play?
If Man United buys the 2 players at once, what is worrying is not about the line-up because I think it would be very good for Man United's front line if they have an effective striker, but what is worrying is about the cost because most likely the club will limit excessive spending and Amorim also cannot buy players who are in different positions.

But will Osimhen suit Manchester United’s style of play?
I think whether Oshimen is suitable or not depends on the coach whether he can create a strategy that suits the player.
Whhen he arrives at Galatasaray Oshimen was warmly welcomed by the fans and he seemed to like Galatasaray and that's what made him comfortable and his performance was good there he played without pressure if he chooses Man United he also needs to adapt to other players and fans to be comfortable at Man United.

Bad news for Bayern Munich.  Sad

I would like to say some things about Neuer situation at this team as well. First of all I have a big respect for him. He has already become a legendary goalkeeper for Bayern Munich undoubtedly.   Smiley

However the thing is, he has got very old now (38). He is making more mistakes than usual like that red card example in the Leverkusen game in the DFB Pokal. His general effort is also not like the old times anymore which is natural.

At this point they should think about replacing him with a reliable goalkeeper. There are Peretz and Ulreich but I believe they can find a much better candidate for the main goalkeeper position.

I hope Amorim listen and doesn't end up deaf ears the way ETH did. The first mistake was letting Degea live for another club with Onana as replacement, the team has never been the same without goof goalkeeper, Sancho and the rest all affected the team but he was forming Mr principles at the cost of the team performance until things went beyond control. I hope Amorim can do better else they are going to witness what Chelsea went through for3 seasons.

De Gea was good but also made blunders during the finals against City. EtH got some of his decision making going left but was never wrong with dumping and letting Sancho leave. He is a complete fraud and virus and at the same time a lazy player who can't succeed is a club with high expectations as Man United. Marcus Rashford has seen more managers sacked than trophies won, I want to see him leaving likewise. 🗑-ford

Before ETH departure, I have always sideline myself and remove emotions from the public and their emotional judgment, the team is wacky and ETH wasn't the only problem, the entire team all combine but when Ruud came to help the team stay in good position before the arrival of Amorim, they improved their game but you can't fool for long, they trip off again when Amorim came and they have started with another foolish campaign that Amorim is the problem, they can do better.
No offence but truth be told, most Manchester United fans are full of shit, they hardly find space to rationally analyse issues without mixing emotions. They refuse to accept the real deal that ETH was just a vapour in the midst of the problems plaguing the club. Today ETH is no more in the picture but the problem of poor performance still persist even after one of the best coach Amorim is still in charge. Now what does this makes for those shitty fans who ain't seeing anything wrong with their players?

Manchester United can have a better season if they are able to sell some players and sign more players of higher caliber, which cannot be done once. I will expect the team to sell off some players to raise some money to sign other important players that can help improve the team's performance.
Amorim needs time to adapt to Manchester United and Premier League style of play, and he will adapt soon, just that their fixtures are not friendly.

Manchester United have some set of big games they will hardly win, therefore, I expect United to still drop some points in their next three to four games.
This player sale must be done because there are too many players recruited by Ten Hag in his time and do not provide much contribution to the team. I will not mention the names because we all know some players play below standard. Amorim needs to overhaul this squad again according to his wishes, if the budget is inadequate, then the sector that he can utilize is by selling players and spending them again.

Jonathan Tah could be 29 at the end of this season and after completing 10 years here at the Bayer Leverkusen this is good decision for increasing his achievements which could be led to him as good defender because right now he is at his peak and still had few more years which could be give him good incentive for his amazing performance and consistency at any level.

As media reports are coming most chances we will be had Jonathan Tah in Barcelona after end of his contract with Bayer Leverkusen as they are also looking for changes at the end of this season coach Flicks is also not happy with his few players so they are rightly thinking to have few changes which will surely increase their quality, and they could be felt better in defense.
At least there is still about 5 to 6 years left for Jonathan Tah to be able to continue to perform impressively as reliable defender, the age limit of 35 years I think is enough for most players to experience decline in the quality of their play and career although there are some who are older and can still perform well but that is not much.

Honestly, I personally do not really believe some of the media reports and various rumors circulating because several other team also still have the opportunity to get Jonathan Tah, everything will depend on Jonathan Tah own decision to determine which team is worthy of him next even though the one that is really close is Barcelona.

Manchester United has facing the crisis for defensive lines because currently their player who playing on left back position Luke Shaw got the injury again and Manchester United don't want to take the risk because for left back Amorim don't have much option so that's why this winter Manchester United will give their priority to gets new left back and it says they were interested to bought Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich

Actually Alphonso Davies contract will be expired on June 2025 but probably Manchester United will bought him early this january and there is possibility this transfer will be happened especially Bayern Munich don't want to losing Alphonso Davies for free so rather than let Alphonso Davies leave with free transfer probably Bayern Munich will sell him at cheap price this january
Well, to be honest, Alphonso Davies moving to Manchester United would not be easy. Becuse only Manchester United are not interested in signing Alphonso Davies. While expecting Red Devils, there are many other clubs are optimistic about signing Alphonso Davies, like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man City, etc. So I don't think they will sign Alphonso Davies in such a tough competition. Real Madrid is also trying hard to sign Alphonso Davies. Barcelona is also interested due to their new coach Hansi Flick. Now it's up to Alphono Davis who he prefers. But apparently he would prefer big clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona over Manchester United. Because Alphonso Davis demands a huge salary, despite only the big club you can get a huge salary. I do not mean that Manchester United is not a big club. Manchester United is a big club but their financial sector is not too good, like Madrid and Barca.

Erik Ten Hag cost Manchester United so much but the club especially the fans didn't see this earlier, even when Ronaldo spoke about this because they were blinded by his first trophy and himself also was blinded by it. He thought winning the Carabao cup and FA Cup means he is doing really well, and this was what Ronaldo spoke about.

The players he bought many are out performing, although Onana also need to be blamed in that game but we can agree  he has been doing majorly well this season, the defense needs to improve, same as the attack and midfield. The truth is Manchester United has never be consistent and that game shows the proof of it and Chelsea were often like this for many season, and it's even still early to judge if Chelsea has overcome that phase but at least they are more consistent and serious than last season.

De gea is still a big leaving Manchester United is still a big loss especially in the finance wise and even if they wanted to go for another goalie much younger than him or if Onana is their only option, Onana would still have something to learn from him before they eventually let him go.

Honestly if Man Utd can the secure or sign Osimen even if it's a loan deal come January transfer window
Osimhen has a contract with Galatasaray until the end of the season (June 30, 2025). So, Man United has no chance to sign him in January transfer window. Man United must wait until Osimhen's contract with Galatasaray over. However, there is no guarantee that Osimhen automatically will move to Man United since there are many big teams interested in Osimhen as well.

I believe he would make a big difference in their attack and he would convert many Fernandez clear cut passes to goal, this is exactly what is lacking in Man Utd attack
You can assume it, but it can be wrong. If Osimhen can't adapt with Man United game, it is possible that he ends up with a failure in Man United. It is the same as Mbappe's case. In the past, everyone assumed he will be very suitable to play with Real Madrid, but in fact he played badly in Real Madrid.  Grin

unfortunately for now Man Utd attackers had been playing below expectations the likes of Rashford, Hojlund, Garnacho and Mount are all average players  significant impact on the team and I believe by the end of this season Amorim would sell many of these players.
Hojlund and Garnacho performed quite well. There is nothing wrong with these players. So, it is very unlikely that Man United will put them in the transfer list. But Rashford and Mount deserve to put on the transfer list, they failed to show their best level. Anyway, Rashford still could show his contribution in few matches, but Mount totally failed in Man United.

The issue now is that many Man Utd fans wanted an instant positive impact on the team by Amorim not minding the fact that the squad needed a complete overhauling many players has to leave to give room for new quality set of players that would fit in to Amorim 3:5:2  formation, it obvious this would take a lot of time before things can begin to work well for the club, it took Arteta some period of time before he put Arsenal into a better squad and shape after releasing some unneeded players and thereafter signed some new player,  I believe if Man Utd Board can give Amorim much needed time definitely there is going to be changes on the team.

Accepting a wack team half way into the league is a set up, if I'm given any role.as a coach to revive a sinking shop during storm, I will happily reject the offer and give them my own terms to be there by the end of the season so I can make important decisions for the club, if they agree I can have time to monitor the team and see those who are not good and the players that need sent fort immediately I take the jobs, now Amorim will be in bad spot if the team refuse to do well.

Here is January, he can make some little ammendment since it will be difficult to find an authentic player during the January transfer unless it's a loan player and such moves doesn't worth it, you might be signing up for another drag for another 6 months. The best any coach can do is to say no unless the management insist they need my service and it's urgent.

The expectations were high and they needed him to come in and change everything immediately. He sounds so confidence that he can make a change immediately but unfortunately things are not going as he wanted too and have to just love by the reality that the premier league is not the same as the Portuguese league.
I mean he can't do anything if the players played terribly and can't follow his tactics. The club needs to sell a lot of players just like how they support Ten Hag in the beginning. Asking him to change everything is quite an impossible demand if he can't use different players. It's not like he can swap their players with academy players and call it a day. The next transfer window and how the board react should paint a picture whether United transition season is good or not.

I have also said that Manchester United's main problem at the moment is the squad. The coach will need to sell some players from the defense, midfield and the attack will face the biggest problem. Because there are players who were recently signed and who are not being very useful, so I wonder how they will sell these players because they bought them for a high price and I doubt very much that they will be able to sell them for the same price. It is also important that the club's management and the coach tell the fans that they need to be patient because it will take at least 1 year to organize the team and the following year they could fight for the title.

Previously chelsea did target osimhen as their main striker, but like you, I also don't think they will return to interest in osimhen in the January transfer window, apart from the fact that they already have many productive strikers at this time, of course the management will no longer spend a lot of money after spending quite a lot of money last summer, Besides that, bringing in osimhen will certainly only break the harmony that is currently starting to form well in front line, osimhen will certainly move to another team in January later, but it looks like PSG and arsenal might be more inclined to get it, while manchester united of course might be more inclined to target gyokeres if they really need a great striker later.

Who knows, if those recruited ones will give them good results in the coming years? That is, if they will give their best for the team. They were bought for a very good price, because the team saw their potential. And if they will do their job at their best, they will surely contribute to the team's success. However, we may not see that now yet. And if there will be no progress in the next couple of years, then, the recruitment team should think of selling and buying new ones. I can understand the expectations from United, a lot of fans are expecting a lot from them. But the lineup of athletes can't give them the results that they want. It may take a lot of matches before they will see the true potential of those athletes.

I'm sorry but a lot of the players in Manchester United have no potential. When you see a player play you'll know that they have potential or not. The problem with Manchester United and its fans is that they try to force the potential out of that play. They also only see what that player could be instead of what that player actually is. They did that to Martial and now, Rashford.
There are united fans who believe Rashford can be better than an in-form Mbappe. They have to let it go, he doesn't have it in him and no amount of time or system can give it to him.
The same thing with Antony. They believe he can be like Neymar or something. That player just doesn't have the talent for that kind of expectation. Don't expect so much from him and rate him so highly. Can we talk about Alejandro Garnacho? he's a good player, with potential too, but can we truly say he has the potential to be among the best in his position? He just doesn't have it.

United needs to know how to rate players and how to evaluate players. They need to stop making decisions based on the fan's demands because to be honest, the majority of the fans don't know football talk more about how to run a football club.
What the past owners of the club do is sign a player that the fanbase loves whenever the fanbase is angry so they can calm down a little. I can go ahead to mention times when they did that like when they signed Ronaldo.
The club is very badly run and if they want to go back to their glory days, a lot needs to change.

I don't think Manchester United will be able to make huge expenditures in the mid-season transfer period. Because in these periods, teams try to make ends meet with small additions. The change of manager was important for Manchester United. They did that and we can say that the new manager has not adapted to the team yet. First of all, after he and his tactics are integrated into the team, we can watch a transfer period consisting of special players that he will choose in the summer. Maybe next year, Manchester United will compete for the Premier League championship.

GOAL

Arsenal's dead ball coach Nicolas Jover is reportedly going to have his term of service extended with the Gunner by management, not only that, his salary will also be increased. Nicolas Jover has been a smart coach since the beginning of last season, Arsenal has scored 22 goals from corner kicks, this achievement is none other than thanks to his cool hand. And indeed so far Arsenal has been the most effective club in utilizing dead balls, hopefully this new contract will happen soon.
It's a good thing on Arsenal part to recognize his efforts and also potentially rewarding him with a contract extension and a significant pay rise. Nicolas Jover has transformed Arsenal to the best dead ball team in the Premier League so far. He is a great coach and am happy to see him contribute to the growth of the club and also been handed a contract extension at the Emirates. Arsenal set pieces is undeniably brilliant but they lack creativity in their attack and open play.
Jover is one of the best dead ball coaches in the world right now. The French coach has reached a whole new level with Arsenal. With him, Arsenal started to play dead balls perfectly. These tactics were undoubtedly very useful for Arteta. I don't remember a team in England that could use dead balls better than Arsenal. Of course, the French coach Jover has a big contribution to this.

I wouldn't really expect them to make any incredible accomplishments in the first year of a new coach either, and besides, the coach's accomplishments aren't impressive for such a great team. When Ten Hag was managing the team he was just complaining about the fact that the club has a lot of players and if it is not difficult to choose the right ones, it is difficult to decide what to do with the rest. as I understand the management does not want to sell many players.

A Proud Father of Twin Girls 👧 👧
It makes sense that United wants Alphonso Davies to improve their back line. Alphonso Davies is a good player that will add a significant impact to the club. If Manchester United can be able to secure his services, I believe the problems at left back will be solved. Alphonso Davies is the type of player that fits into the style of formation of Ruben Amorim. Having him at Manchester United will be a great addition to the club as he has proved to be one of the best left back of his generation.
Recruiting players is the main action for the new headcoach because achieving good results required top priorities. Manchester United not in good shape under the new management of Ruben Amorim. They need re-adjustment because staying ontop needs more tanking efforts, actions that wouldn't hesitate to bring in winnings. Ruben Amorim calming down because there's huge change to trigger in Manchester United. He's taking out time to ensure grabbing big winning wouldn't be a challenge for them. Amorim mapped the players he would bring into the system, they're experienced and enchanced potentials to explore for the club.
