Nice, but it took longer that expected. This should have been done a long time ago. Neymar literally won 5 trophies while on the bench. He has played a total of 7 matches for Al Hilal and scored just 1 goal. He made zero contribution to the success of the team and it's good they finally decided to cut him loose.

But what I don't understand is why would any club want to sign a player like Neymar with such an injury history. Even if they wanted to grant him the wish of playing for his boyhood club again before he retires, I don't think it's a good idea because he can never be relied upon.

I don't think all problems can be solved with the money that the rich Saudi Arabian club can afford. Vinicius must have big ambitions with Madrid, and maybe he can only achieve them with Madrid.

Ancelotti thinks that Vinicius will choose to stay at Real, here he will have more opportunities to win trophies, and Real is one of the best clubs in which Vinicius is an important player of the first team, I think that there is no point in looking for something better. I don't think we have any interesting transfers happening right now. January is rarely the best time to sign top players as club often feel reluctant selling their key asset mid season. It's unfortunate to see Neymar jnr returning to the club where it all began. Once a generational talent he had struggled to fully actualize his potentials due to injuries and off field decisions. His return to Santos if confirmed would mark a symbolic but bittersweet chapter in his career.
