Al-Hilal finally terminated the contract with Neymar after an unfruitful eighteen months. In these months Brazilian played just seven games while he spent most of the time in medical centers treating injuries. The club's statement is that the termination is by mutual consent and they wish him well in his future endeavors. There are speculations that the 32-year-old player will be joining his boyhood club Santos.  It was indeed a bad investment for the Saudi-based club.

Nice, but it took longer that expected. This should have been done a long time ago. Neymar literally won 5 trophies while on the bench. He has played a total of 7 matches for Al Hilal and scored just 1 goal. He made zero contribution to the success of the team and it's good they finally decided to cut him loose.

But what I don't understand is why would any club want to sign a player like Neymar with such an injury history. Even if they wanted to grant him the wish of playing for his boyhood club again before he retires, I don't think it's a good idea because he can never be relied upon.

His wages at this club won't be huge, he'll earn around 900k in those six months, so if he suddenly gets injured I don't think the club will lose anything from it. That amount at Al Hilal he would earn in one or two days, no more than that. But if he manages to recover and come back to europe, it will be the opposite of great, he will make a little history for himself

I think this is the last club for Neymar,he started at Santos and will finish at Santos. He dosent care anymore about the money just wants to have fun and how much he can help Santos is a question because he is always injured. I think he didnt even play 90 mins in total for Al Hilal and took from them a lot of money.

Vinicius Junior decides to stay as it seems which is not surprising news at all.  Grin  Of course he was going to decide like that at this young age. He is only 24 and he has lots of more trophies to win with Real Madrid in the future.

He was going to get an enormous offer from a Saudi team normally. They were rumoured to offer 300 million euros to Real Madrid as transfer fee and 200 million a year as a salary to the player. That's of course an insane offer.  Smiley

But not enough to convince a player like this anyway. As far as I know he makes 25 million a year with bonuses now but not everything is money. Achieving successes in Europe is much more valuable than the successes in Saudi Arabia obviously.

The Ballon d'Or story is not over for Vinnie, he definitely wants to get it. Maybe if Vinnie gets it done, the Saudi offer, which is estimated at a billion, will turn into a billion and a half? Who knows  Grin In any case, he is really young and has time to play for titles, but Salah, KDB, etc. should be leaving for Saudi Arabia purely for money. They are the ones whose time resource is running out.

I think there are thresholds for everyone and 200 million is a hell lot of money of course. But in contrast to Ronaldo, Vinicius Junior has so much to achieve as a player and he won't ever suffer from hunger  Grin Ronaldo took it as a pension at the end of his career and I guess everyone would have done the same. I think he received 500 million for 2.5 years, which is about the same as they offer Vinicius Junior. But again, Ronaldo was in his late 30s and took it as a bonus, Vinicius Junior would pay a price. He is 24 years old now and if he decided to go there, any ambitions he had to win the Ballon d'Or or win the Champions League again, it would all be lost. Unless he would do a weird move like go there for two years and then return, but I don't know whether any club would particularly like a to sign a player who went for the money last time and let greed overcome himself.

Money doesn't matter for him. He's still young and play in biggest club in the world. He has not yet achieved what he has dreamed off to win several ballon d'or in a row like what ronaldo did. So, has a dream to achieve, and won't go to the Saudi until he will be 30's.  Cheesy

He earns around £480,000 weekly and thats enough for him.  Grin Grin Grin

The poor results achieved since the start of the season have put Man City in danger of failing to defend their EPL title and they are also struggling in the UCL phase. This season has been one of City's worst under Guardiola, so I think it's understandable that they've been so busy in the transfer market given their status as the Premier League dominant force for the past four seasons.
Arsenal and Man United need to follow in City footsteps to keep the title race alive, some players who are not contributing to the club must be released and replaced with better quality players.
Manchester City must find some needed players and they have made some purchases for the current transfer market but their strength is still unstable. In the Champions League Manchester City is much more difficult because they have to win the last match to qualify for the next round through the playoffs but that is difficult because the opponents they face only need a draw to qualify for the next round so that in terms of calculations Manchester City is under greater pressure. That's why in the transfer market they are so busy looking for some needed players because if left like this then in the Premier League itself it will be difficult for them to compete for the top three positions.
In the poor performance experienced by Man City this season if we look deeper, Man City actually lacks contribution from the players they have. I know Man City still has Guardiola as a professional coach and still has Haaland as a mainstay player. However, De Bruyne is one of the players who is time to be replaced with a more productive player to help Haaland score more. Now we can see that KDB is old and his contribution has started to decline drastically. Unlike last season, he made a better contribution and was always a good partner for Haaland. So this season I only have the thought that if KDB is sold and other players are brought in, I am sure there will be an improvement in Man City's performance.

What the Arab team offered to recruit Vinicius is indeed very crazy and even reportedly the offer is 1.3 billion euros and it is really a very fantastic offer for a young player, but if we look about what Ancelotti said in the tweet it seems that Madrid does not want to release their striker to another team at this time, especially Vinicius who has ambitions to get the Ballon d'Or in his career certainly does not want to take the risk of moving to the Arab League at this time, this year he got a big disappointment after failing to get the Ballon so indeed he have ambitions to get it next year, but if he moves to the Arab League, won't it only destroy his career at a young age and close his chances of getting the Ballon d'Or in his football career later?

Most of us would disagree, if Vini left Real Madrid for Saudi Arabia I am sure there are no more spectators who want to see him play. I am quite furious with the unreasonable offers that they continue to make to tempt Vini. Fortunately the club, the coach and Vinicius himself have the same decision to ignore the offer from Saudi Arabia. Is more than 1.3 billion Euros because it does not include other facilities offered. The amount continues to increase every time Saudi Arabia makes a new offer for Vinicius.

Saudi clubs want to disrupt the football market with crazy offers, this is what makes it unethical again because the impact after the players there are difficult to return to the top clubs in the European League. So Vinicius Jr must remain firm in his stance not to leave, no matter what they offer. In Europe is the time where he must maximize everything, and yes I agree the Ballon d'Or is not over for a Vinicius Jr.
Who would have noticed the gigantic bids of Saudi Arabia teams? They're just trying harder to develop their league to become competitive just like European leagues. Achieving this aim will be mainly focused for SPL top clubs, we know that is possible. Vinicius Jr will stand his ground when it comes to huge bids been positioned for him. We know he's one of the best players in current days football, he's always performing at top level and this is good thing for Real Madrid. Saudi Arabia clubs have tabled irresistible offers for players in Europe  and this time, they're coming for the main players that makes the trends.

There's simply no way Real Madrid will accept the bidding to trigger the sell clause of one of the great players. Absolutely not Vinicius because he's well stabled and presentable for vital roles in the team. Vinicius Jr is contender and favorite for Ballon d'Or and we hope he's able to aligned with proper management. Hitting back to back form comes from consistency and discipline, Vinicius Jr have these qualities and he's heading for substantial differences.

A very fantastic offer, how the Saudi club made a crazy offer to attract big-name star players. but in fact with Real Madrid, Vini has gotten what he wanted. not only in the form of a big salary, facilities and others, but also Vini has realized most of the players' dreams by winning the most prestigious title, and maybe his current target is to win many individual awards as one of the best players. his future is still very long at Santiago Bernabeu, this club is one of the best in the world. to realize many dreams, Madrid has become a vehicle for many players, including Vini Junior. indeed an offer that is very difficult to refuse if we look at the nominal value, as well as the salary he gets. but it seems that money does not shake his dreams and ambitions, it would be very reasonable if this Brazilian international player refused and continued his career with his teammates at Real Madrid.

Manchester United is also close in signing Patrick Dorgu for around 30m €.

Roma is a stingy club. It sounds impossible for Casemiro to go there consider how big salary he wanted from his new club. We have seen how Roma was always so reluctant in investing on their squad, and this moves seems unlikely to happen.

As for Hojlund, the better for him to comeback on Serie a. He's not PL's level. He shall back to serie a before it's too late. No more room for Hojlund in PL. He's a garbage striker. Manchester United shall cash in him before he gets no demand.
I don't understand what target Roma wants to achieve, even though if we look at the progress of the last few seasons, Giallorossi has entered the ranks of elite teams in Europe with proof of being able to win the Conference League trophy. For this season, Roma also does not look like an impressive transfer activity, in fact in Serie A they are also unable to compete. Of course it would be great if Casemiro could be brought in, but financial problems will definitely be an obstacle for the Italian capital team. I agree with you that Roma's management is very stingy and does not have a clear road map.
Roma didn't even give money to their former coaches, Mourinho and De Rossi to rebuild the club. How can they sign Casemiro as a new player with a very expensive salary? He's also more than 30 years, which is old enough.

Importantly, Roma's owner bought Everton. I guess he would focus on saving Everton from being relegated instead of putting his money into Roma.

That's why i'm not seeing this as a concrete rumor. Roma is financially struggle, and has no money to give big salary. The better to have low expectation to this club.

I don't think all problems can be solved with the money that the rich Saudi Arabian club can afford. Vinicius must have big ambitions with Madrid, and maybe he can only achieve them with Madrid.
The offers are coming, but I'm not sure he will accept them. His career and his place in the Madrid squad are still his. Ancelotti still has a lot of faith in him. Vinicius is not for sale at this time.

With the team scoring so many goals, it seems they don't need another striker, but if I'm not mistaken, Barcelona weren't going to buy Rashford, they were only going to loan him out.

And Amorim has once again humiliated Rashford, saying they would rather field Jorge Vital (Manchester United's 63-year-old goalkeeping coach) than a player who isn't giving his all in training and off the pitch. It's a clear conflict that's only preventing Rashford from continuing to play, and Amorim is only making it worse.
Even with loaning, it makes no sense because they really do not need an offensive player, we shouldn't really approach that as normal, we are talking about a situation where they are not really that great at defense so they should maybe consider that as more important right now. I get that they want to get a good player, and Rashford seems like he is talented, there must be something about him at training that causing all this rift between him and Amorim, but at the end of the day if Barcelona can afford him, then they just want to have him, even if he is not good, they are not buying, so it would not be a bad move in their minds.

But, fans are getting mad because they do need better defenders when they are forcing on offense and that makes the fans a bit angry. To be fair, the president has been quite terrible for many years, so it is not the first time he made the fans mad, he has done that many times before so we need to just get used to the fact that dude is bad at running a club.

If he is offered more money in Saudi Arabia, then this is not the most important thing, Vinicius already has a lot of money and a good contract with Real.

Do we have any interesting transfers going on right now because January isn't an easy time to get the best player's and I havent been keeping an eye on these one's as I was super busy!

Anyway, Just heard Fabrizio say Neymar is going back to his boy child club Santos which is really a sad story for him and a bad investment for his former club..whatever happened to this Lad Cry

Is Saudi Arabia going to be making headlines again with their crazy offers,  or maybe Neymar has taught them on how to do their homework.
I don't think we have any interesting transfers happening right now. January is rarely the best time to sign top players as club often feel reluctant selling their key asset mid season. It's unfortunate to see Neymar jnr returning to the club where it all began. Once a generational talent he had struggled to fully actualize his potentials due to injuries and off field decisions. His return to Santos if confirmed would mark a symbolic but bittersweet chapter in his career.

Neymar's move to Al hilal generated excitement his season was cut short by devastating injury this highlight the needs for clubs to conduct thorough medical and fitness assessments before commiting to massive contracts, ensuring they sign players who can contribute consistently on the pitch.
