Al-Hilal finally terminated the contract with Neymar after an unfruitful eighteen months. In these months Brazilian played just seven games while he spent most of the time in medical centers treating injuries. The club's statement is that the termination is by mutual consent and they wish him well in his future endeavors. There are speculations that the 32-year-old player will be joining his boyhood club Santos. It was indeed a bad investment for the Saudi-based club.

But what I don't understand is why would any club want to sign a player like Neymar with such an injury history. Even if they wanted to grant him the wish of playing for his boyhood club again before he retires, I don't think it's a good idea because he can never be relied upon.
His wages at this club won't be huge, he'll earn around 900k in those six months, so if he suddenly gets injured I don't think the club will lose anything from it. That amount at Al Hilal he would earn in one or two days, no more than that. But if he manages to recover and come back to europe, it will be the opposite of great, he will make a little history for himself
I think this is the last club for Neymar,he started at Santos and will finish at Santos. He dosent care anymore about the money just wants to have fun and how much he can help Santos is a question because he is always injured. I think he didnt even play 90 mins in total for Al Hilal and took from them a lot of money.
