Transfer rumours:

Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane wants to join Manchester United this summer, though a stumbling block would be the 28-year-old France international's wages, believed to be as much as £400,000 a week. A very large salary that few clubs can give today at a time of great financial crisis in football.
Manchester United are closing in on the signing of England winger Jadon Sancho, 21, from Borussia Dortmund - with a deal expected to be confirmed within the next two weeks. Another very good deal for Manchester United?
Argentina forward Lionel Messi remains in advanced talks with Barcelona about a new contract but some important details have yet to be agreed, with the 34-year-old's current deal set to expire next week. Argentina forward Lionel Messi remains in advanced talks with Barcelona about a new contract but some important details have yet to be agreed, with the 34-year-old's current deal set to expire next week. In the long run, a much better option for Barcelona would be to sell Messi, settle all financial debts and refresh the team with new players.
Timo Werner's agent has insisted the German striker, 25, will remain at Chelsea, despite being linked with Real Madrid. This is very good news for Chelsea, now it would be perfect for Werner to start scoring goals  Grin

Inter's looking at another advanced midfielder, according to the Catalan newspaper Sport: the Italians have no intention of stopping at Calhanoglu. The other name in the plans of the Nerazzurri club is rather fancy even if circulated in the days if not hours before the arrival of the Turkish, gone away from Milan at no cost. The name of Philippe Coutinho, moreover a former Inter player, that Barcelona wants to sell in this summer market.
I don't see why doing that, but if they're okay with that, good for them. There are better players than Coutinho available.

If Manchester is willing to do that why would they pay 150 million pounds for Kane instead of 75 million EUR for Haaland? Kane is very strong, no doubt about that but Haaland is five or six years younger and at least equally strong. I think 150 million pounds for Kane is a bit too high, don't you guys agree? Given what the price levels have turned into in recent years, I would see him more in the 120 - 130 million range at maximum.
Because haaland is not 75 million? Dortmund wants 100 million more than that for Haaland, latest is 174 million if I am not wrong. Believe me if Haaland was 75 million euro, I would find 10 banks to work with me and create a club and buy him right now, literally create a club from nothing, or buy out a club, and buy haaland for 75 million because you can sell him for 150 million the next day.
Chelsea has been offering 150 million for Haaland for a month, there is no official response to decline but Dortmund is basically saying anyone that pays 174 will get him. Kane is cheaper in that regard. However 150 million for Kane is a lot more than he should be given, not because he is not worth it, but he is not that young anymore, you give him 150 million and you may never get to sell him again so you are stuck with him, I would say 100 million is a lot understandable for that reason.
I also believe that 150 million for Kane in the current pandemic conditions looks like too much money and Manchester City is unlikely to agree to such a thing, despite the fact that Josep Guardiola announced the signing of a contract with Kane as a priority in this transfer window. All the same, it was announced that negotiations between the clubs were suspended until the end of the performance of the England national team at the European Championship. I also don't think there are any clubs that are willing to pay 150 million for Kane. Nevertheless, there will clearly be more applicants for Haaland on such a scale of prices.
Not only Kane there one more deal demanded by Guardiola before the start of next season .
The issue of Grealish seems possible with a fabulous offer of 100 million to Aston Villa to give it up.
For Harry Kane, it may be difficult to negotiate with Levy, but Tottenham are still without a coach and there does not seem to be a real project on the horizon that will convince the English striker to stay.
Imagine how good ManchesterCity would be with them. But for sure, the higher the quality of the team, the more pressure will be on Pep to became a Champions League winner.

Some rumors appearing that Liverpool is considering Gravenberch as Wijnaldum's replacement. I have to say I'm really impressed with what I have seen from him so far and Liverpool would be a perfect place for his further development.

He would not be a starter but would get a lot of game time and he'd be placed into dynamic and attacking environment - one he's currently accustomed to.

I'm rooting for this to happen, he's a great player in the making.

Ryan Gravenberch rumored move to Liverpool has been around more than a month. I haven't really seen a move yet to signify that the move is certain yet. With Gini gone, Ryan can provide the much needed support we need at central midfield. I'm glad that Liverpool is considering getting a replacement for Gini. This way, even if Hendo or Thiago Alcantara (who appears to be injury prone). I've not even made mention of Naby keita who plays two matches and then become absent for 5 matches.

Gravenberch is a great player. Still young with lots of potential. I hope we would be able to bring him in. Solid boost to our midfield. Gini would be missed.

I heard some news like Manchester City would be willing to wait for Kane for even one more year if necessary. Because Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy still wants a great deal of money for him. It is around £150m. And Kane doesn't seem like he will be interested in his probable transfer to a team before Euro 2020 ends for him. I hope that Kane doesn't get stuck at Tottenham in the next season again. He should already have left the team already in one of the previous seasons. He also doesn't see his future here anymore.

If Manchester is willing to do that why would they pay 150 million pounds for Kane instead of 75 million EUR for Haaland? Actually, Manchester City are thinking of making an offer for Haaland this summer also. They will most probably be in a big competition against some other big clubs. For example, it is said that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also after him. On the other hand, Dortmund are not very willing to let him go also.

If Manchester City sign Kane this summer, Tottenham will most probably get G. Jesus in return. If this doesn't happen they will keep their hopes up about Haaland. If it doesn't happen also, then I wonder if Manchester City will still make a top striker transfer this summer.

I think they will ask around 50m, for his age and his potential.

Where are the rumors coming from? UK or Nederland?

Nederland is more trustable in this kind of situation.

When PSG has enough funds, they can sign both Luiz and Sergio Ramos. Like other clubs, PSG has no funding problems.
Yes, PSG should have enough funds. I am sure the transfer fees of Luiz and Sergio Ramos aren't very expensive because they are already old players, Ramos (age 35 years) and Luiz (age 34 years). Maybe the possible problems are only about their salary, but I think it can be negotiable. As long as these two players can play regularly, I think the salary can be negotiable.

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.
PSG have agreed a record deal with Inter Milan to sign 22-year-old full-back Achraf Hakimi. The deal will pay the Serie A side up to £60 million (bonuses included) for the Morocco international who will sign a five-year deal in Paris. Chelsea were also interested, but sources claim the European champions never made an offer. Instead, PSG completed one of the biggest deals of the transfer window so far.
That seems like a good deal. I know that 60 million is a lot in this day and age but the reality is that this kid is only 22 years old and already had a big transfer and now another, dude is really a good catch and not that you would need to pay him now so you can sell him higher later, which could happen and that is true but reality is that you could buy him now and then just keep him, that is an even better deal.

My thoughts though goes to the big transfers that this kid goes through. I mean that most if not all the teams look at him like he is a future money prospect and not a player prospect. It's like investing in the future value that might have and not in the player itself. Maybe I'm thinking wrong but I don't know. IMO such transfers every year and every time higher and higher and in that age... Undecided

Plus, Inter was in financial trouble and they wanted to get rid of some players and the talk was they were down 80 mil this year, with just one transfer they already covered most of that and I am sure they can handle the other 20 as well, so this means maybe Inter do not even have to sell any other player, we already got the confirmation that they already got Hakan Calhanoglu as well, so they are not going to stop neither. This is all good news for everyone involved.

Grealish Aston Villa midfielder is close to moving to Manchester City in a record deal of up to 100 million pounds, but after the player ends his participation with England at Euro 2020.

According to the British newspaper, “Daily Mail”, talks between Manchester City and Aston Villa are developing rapidly, and despite City’s desire to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane, the club agreed to the huge deal to include Grealish.
Grealish seems confident of leaving Aston Villa, especially that the club had previously agreed to let him leave in the biggest deal in the Premier League, despite 4 years remaining in his current contract.
I think Jack Grealish will really be a great signing for City, infact it will be the best transfer of the season.Grealish is a very good player that will excel well at Mancity, his dribbling skills combined with his eyes for goal makes him one of the best players in Europe.Little wonder why City put Sterling and Mahrez in the market list.He will really be a marquee signing for City.

Ryan Gravenberch is a young player. As far as I know, Gravenberch is only 19 years old. He may be skilled, but he is not experienced enough. It will take a lot more time for him to become experienced. But Wijnaldum is more experienced than Gravenberch. Hopefully Ryan Gravenberch will play well in Liverpool.

Milan is also focused on finding attacking midfielders who can fill the position vacated by Calhanoglu. Even though Milan still have D. Maldini and Diaz, if Diaz can't stay at Milan, then Milan have no alternative players. I don't know if the news I have read is true or not, if Milan still can use Diaz next season,

Yeah exactly. Lot of main players have left AC Milan. However they've filled the goalkeeper position but they very much would like to fill the attacking midfielder position right now. Diaz is on loan at Milan and Milan are working hard for another loan and Madrid also are willing to let him go but still its not a permanent solution. It would be even good if AC Milan makes Diaz as permanent move as he is already had a good last season and hence is well adjusted within the squad. Also AC Milan are surprisingly are targetting Oliver Giroud from Chelsea after Mandzukic left the club.

Rumors coming from France are getting confirmed: AC Milan and Marseille are in contact for Boubacar Kamara, midfielder (but also central defender) class '99 of the formation coached by Jorge Sampaoli.

A very young player, maybe he will not be the main target if Milan manages to make Tonali permanent. because main Kamara's position is a defensive midfielder or the same position as Tonali.

I just read that and I have to say it would really be a weird transfer for City. They need a fullback, a striker and probably 1 more central midfielder and they want to spend a huge part of their budget on a winger while they still have Sterling, Foden, Mahrez and Torres.
I have to agree with you, I don't think City needs Grealish, he's a fantastic player no doubt, but with the amount that's needed to sign him, City have more important signings to make than that, except maybe pep has a plan as he always does and maybe he'll be deploying Grealish in a different position that the one he's accustomed to at Villa.

But even having said that, if City are to make a big money signing, then they must as well make a big money sale to balance it all up, including the issue with FFP, it'd be interesting to see the decision the club takes from now till the beginning of the season in mid August in terms of signing and selling players.
I think Pep Guardiola needs a player who has a typical game like Jack Grealish in his midfield next season, and of course Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling will be victims of Jack Grealish's arrival and if you look at the inconsistent performance of Raheem Sterling last season, I think it's natural if pep guardiola wants to strengthen their midfield by bringing in jack grealish as an attacking midfielder for manchester city next season, especially according to the news if Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva are no longer included in Pep Guardiola plans next season.
The transfer is just completing the final stages and will soon be completed and if Jack Grealish officially becomes a Manchester City player then he will become the most expensive player in Premier League history with a transfer fee of 100 million pounds ...!

Piero Hincapié has been a revelation both in Argentina, where he plays for Atlético Talleres but also at the current Copa América in Brazil. The 19-year-old Ecuadorian national team player has played the full 270 minutes at the tournament enough to draw the interests from several European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Celtic, and Milan.
