I'm was not looking for him but is he still a decent player or he is now a finished player?
We have some rumors about him, free agents are a good deal right now in the covid situation.

Barca and Juventus are interested in him according to rumors.

Well he has been injured for quite some time and had just now made the return for Man City but Pep hasn't used him after he was back so not really know if he is still that good but yeah he got the experience I will give you that. Barca and Juventus do need a proper forward and Aguero could be a good addition. Barca is the most likely one since rumours are heavily linking Messi and Aguero - two Argentinians unite and brink back Barca to form. But I feel like there is possibility of Aguero moving to team in Argentina as well.

Sergio Aguero confirmed all the rumours of him leaving Manchester City this summer with this tweet: https://twitter.com/aguerosergiokun/status/1376613519102197768 . What a wonderful career he had here at City... A total legend for sure.

Fernandinho could be the next one to leave after Aguero.

A very good and complete striker, talisman and goalscorer for Manchester City; he has scored over 200 goals and served the team really well; a long serving member of the team, who has been there since the beginning of the rebuild of the new Oil Manchester city team; injury to his knee has meant he has to play limited ties under Pep and now move on; he could play for any team in the world if fit, where could his destination Spain? France ? I am sure he has lots of offer

David Alaba's agent Pini Zahavi has today given a small update on DA's upcoming future - according to this 4 top clubs want/would like to have the player

Quote
Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are supposed to be said clubs. As Kicker reports, Los Blancos are in the pole position – the confidence in the camp of the Madrilenians is huge, according to sources within the club. At league rivals Barcelona, meanwhile, there are too many uncertainties about the financing model, especially since Alaba would prefer a long-term contract. PSG and Chelsea, who according to Bild, are already out of the race, probably only have outside chances.

AC Milan still not meet agreement with Hakan and Donnarumma, I think Milan will lost them. But, from rumor, AC Milan will allocated around 100M Euro for summer transfer. Nikola Vlasic (CSKA Moscow) linked with AC Milan to replace Hakan. From transfermarket website, Vlasic price around €30.00m. from the performance statistics, he can be a decent player to replace Hakan. However, in my opinion it would be better if this budget was used to fight for Hakan because he has shown good performance this season.

Donnarumma was supposed to go to Man United at some point in the past 2 seasons,,, do you think they are finally ready to let go of de Gea? I think this season will be his last and they will do a surprise keeper move, maybe Donnarumma to England after all.

Me I am hoping we get a good replacement for Lloris (he is not bad but well).

Ibrahima Konaté (red-bull leipzig) will most likely move to fc liverpool this summer

Quote
In the current season, Liverpool are struggling with injury concerns at the back – one reason why Jürgen Klopp’s team will probably not be able to defend the Premier League title. According to The Athletic, the Reds have now found a potential reinforcement at RB Leipzig. Ibrahima Konaté is understood to be on the verge of joining the club.
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/konate-set-to-join-liverpool-release-clause-in-rb-leipzig-contract-above-market-value/view/news/382635

after Dayot Upamecano, Ibrahima Konaté would be the second strong centre-back to leave leipzig in this summer

I haven’t really noticed Konate much, is he good? I am aware of Upamecano & he is a very good player, Bayern will be stronger once more when he joins the German champions.

If PSG thinks of long term, then PSG will never think of leaving Mbappe. Mbappe and Neymar will be able to support PSG for many more years. But if PSG thinks 2/3 of me then I see no other option but Messi. However, if Messi is included in the team, the sale of jerseys will be very profitable. Which is not possible with any other player to make so much money.
PSG had done this, that when they brought David Beckham in the 2012-2013 season. At that time, Beckham's presence at PSG was only for business, because the impact of this signing could lift PSG's image and increase PSG’s merchandise revenue.

I think another star player (besides Messi) who can make that impact is Cristiano Ronaldo.  Grin

I agree with you, that PSG had brought in David Beckham just to increase merchandise income. So it's not surprising that PSG eventually signed
Messi for the same goal. Maybe another option besides Messi is Ronaldo, whose contract will soon expire in one more year. And according to
the news I read, Juventus will release Ronaldo at a much cheaper price than when Juventus bought him. Maybe Juventus don't want to release
Ronaldo for free, as was done by Barcelona who could lose Messi for free this season if he did not renew his contract. It is interesting to see who
PSG will sign next season. because usually PSG often give surprises by bringing in expensive star players.
Messi is profitable in all respects for PSG. Barcelona will lose Mesi for free. With the amount of money that Barcelona has made with Messi, Real Madrid could not make so much money with the help of Ronaldo. On the other hand, the most important thing is that the pairing of Mesi and Neymar is extraordinary. They can easily adapt to each other. But Neymar will not be able to adapt easily to Ronaldo. So I think it is more profitable for PSG to have Messi on the team.

I don't really know why would Messi wants to play in France? There is no competition. Only Premier League option would be wise, other than that Messi won't leave Barcelona.
Who says Messi has to play only in competitive leagues even at an older age. Premier League was far more competitive than La Liga, but we never saw him leave la Liga for 13+ years.

The only big factor I see in his transfer is money and not competitiveness. Hell, he could even go to China or back home in Argentina depending on his decision on whether to choose money or not.

Messi is a legend, he's the greatest player of all time, he already have tons of money, he's even richer than some countries. Money is never the issue. He built a legacy in Barcelona, why would he go to China or somewhere else? He wants to win more trophies, score more goals. When new chairman Laporta fix financial problems and create a better Barcelona squad Messi won't have any reason to leave.

Haaland's transfer fee this summer has been set by Borussia Dortmund with interested clubs needing £154m in order to have a chance of signing the striker. How many clubs can actually pay such a large amount?
Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/56545700

Noone with COVID for financial Fair play but they can deceive it as PSG did the year when they bought Mbappè and Neymar.
A team can go to Dortmund and say we take in on Loan for 3 years for 20 million per year and a final payment of 100 in the 4th year.

It will not ethically correct but possible.

However, I think Neymar and Mbappe will play in the PSG team next season,
Why is Messi? not too old? although he's good he is a short term plan. I think it's only 1-2 years of interest. PSG have a lot of good players I think that's enough, they just need to keep all the players and buy new strikers. Maybe Haaland can be an alternative, he is young and suitable for the long term. But I don't know PSG's plan whether Messi's arrival is only to increase jersey sales or profit outside of winning.

That's true, before signing with Leo Messi they should either sell Neymar or Mbappé considering their actual salaries. Maybe they could offload Neymar, he's done his part and Mbappé is on the verge of becoming a new golden boy so if I'd go for Messi, I'd make sure to sell Neymar first.

Neymar's the one wanting to extend his contract though. Mbappe on the other hand not so much so they will probably extend with Neymar and see if they can agree something with Mbappe.
If he won't extend, they simply have to sell him in this window because he can leave on a free transfer next summer.

If they extend with both, then there's no room for Messi's salary. I still think Messi to PSG is realistic, with Mbappe leaving - most likely to Madrid.

Real Madrid wants Mbappe and Haaland together. If that happens we can see more competitive La Liga again, then Messi has one more reason to stay. Neymar may stay in PSG alone. Smiley

I think PSG will take Messi to the team if Mbappe leaves. Moreover, if Neymar wants to leave, PSG can take Messi as his replacement. I don't think PSG will waste money by bringing these three world class players together. The salaries of the three of them are much higher. However, I think Neymar and Mbappe will play in the PSG team next season,
