Transfer rumours:

Real Madrid and Barcelona are both ready to challenge Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea for the signature of Borussia Dortmund and Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland.
Haaland has more and more suitors and his price is skyrocketing. Who will get Haaland?
Paris St-Germain are ready to offer French striker Kylian Mbappe, a new 30m euro (£25.8m) contract to ward off interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool. Will this plan work? Is there a club that can offer a higher salary to Mbappe in times of corona crisis and financial losses?
Manchester City and Argentina striker Sergio Aguero, 32, and Liverpool's Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, 30, are on Barcelona's shortlist of potential summer transfers. Barcelona seem to have given up on mega transfers and are starting to save money due to the financial crisis.
It would cost Tottenham £25m if they sack manager Jose Mourinho. Old fox Mourinho was obviously well insured against losing his job  Grin

It's true that Juventus is waiting for Ronaldo's decision, if Ronaldo wants to move, Juventus will sell him. But if Ronaldo decides to continue playing
with Juventus, of course Juventus will extend his contract. But there may be a reduction in salary from what Ronaldo previously received, we all have
to wait for Ronaldo's decision. I really hope Ronaldo can extend his contract at Juventus, because Ronaldo looks comfortable playing for Juventus.
I think he should start considering something that would be basically just for fun, I get that Ronaldo is trying way too hard to make Juventus win something, but as a human he needs a bit more rest as well, many people think that his peak physical situation is a great thing for his health as well, but the reality is that professional sports is very tiring for your body, many ex superstars end up having a lot of injuries later in life, for example almost half of ex-NBA players end up with some knee problems when they are older because of all the jumping (which I am sure Ronaldo may have as well considering how he jumps) and many footballers have back problems as well when they retire.

So, if he keeps this up, be in physical peak form, keep working tirelessly to win something in Juventus, he may end up with a bad old age situation, that is why I hope he gets out and finds some american club or something and have fun few more years and retire.

Whats wrong with AC Milan, extraordinary performance from the start of the season disappeared instantly. In Serie A and UEL, they are no longer have a chance to get a Title. Next season the threat of losing talented players, if the summer transfer does not bring in good players and not giving positive results, then Milan may remain a "mediocre" team.
I actually thought AC Milan would finally break the chain of mediocrity they've found themselves in for quite a long time now by winning the Italian Seria A, I've been following their good performances from the start of the season, but a part of me was also waiting for it to end and at the same time hoping it doesn't happen, Inter as it looks right now have stolen the title from them already, and who knows if they'll even be able to challenge for the trophy next season or even come close to it.
Besides that, he still has a chance to make Bayern's senior squad. He seems to have recovered well from his injury last season.
That's going to take a pretty long time, Bayern have outstandingly quality players, some of which do not even get adequate/sufficient playing time, for the lad to break into the squad is going to be difficult, quite as difficult as him taking the paycut to move to Hannover.

It should be a hard decision for him when it comes the amount of money he makes right now. But on the other hand, he won't find a chance to prove himself if he goes on like this. If I were him, I'd want to go on a loan and do my best to prove myself before coming back. Then things could be better for me of course.

I just had to look up how much he currently earns and what he would earn in Hannover.
That's really a joke on the part of Hannover... there they would try to stick to the current ceiling of 500000. That's just 10% of what he currently earns at Bayern according to different sources.

Money isn't everything, but I don't think he'll take that paycut.

FC Bayern München striker Jann-Fiete Arp could be loaned to Hannover 96 in the coming season. But the move will only happen if the 21 year-old striker is willing to take a huge paycut.

Hannover 96 are interested in Bayern striker Jann-Fiete Arp. Arp has a contract until 2024 and earns €5m per year. The player has to take a pay cut, otherwise a move wouldn't happen [Bild]

In my opinion, a loan would be a smart idea. If Arp doesn't want to ruin his career, he urgently needs match practice.

Im with you. He needs more playing practice away from the third league.

In Hannover he would certainly get more assignments, but currently Hannover "only" plays in the second league and for a promotion to the first league it does not look this season again.
This should be an improvement right now because I dont see him in the first team of Bayern at the moment. However, I don't know if a complete change would be a step back in the longterm.

Yes, I understand, Juventus chose to sell Ronaldo to reduce the huge expenses to pay his salary as well as other players and also to bring in new players. What I think is, Juventus are struggling when Ronaldo doesn't play, if next season the expectations for Pogba doesn't match, this is what I think Juventus need to anticipate so they doesn't struggle like the beginning of this season.

Juventus has not chosen to sell Ronaldo.
If Ronaldo wants to leave then Juventus will sell him for 30m to be even for the FPP.
We don't know yet if he wants to leave or not we have opposite messages in both directions.

the worst AC MIlan's transfer is choosing to bring in Mandzukic rather than buy a defender, that become the weaknesses of AC Milan line up. Since Mandzukic was brought in by AC Milan in the January transfer window, he has only played 4 times with 0 goal, of corse he just to filled the bench, but if he can give contribution, may he will play alongside Ibra. Very ironic, AC Milan's transfer process did not give positive results, it even made them worse off. I agree with you; i do not see Manchester United releasing Paul Pogba to anyone soon; not after his good cameo tonight; Paul remains an important player to Ole rebuild of Manchester United; Also, Ole would not bring in CR7, when theres haaland and Sancho available to be taken. i feel it is simply the media bias fuelling the rumours

Pogba is already sold to someone, we don't know yet to whom.
Raiola said "Paul will leave in the summer"

He can be an asshole whatever you want but if he says one thing the thing will happen.

There are consequences for every action

I don't understand why Juventus is so interested in looking for Paul Pogba.

As for Ronaldo, I don't know, but I read somewhere that Alex Sandro and Paulo Dybala were offering for this exchange.
I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but Manchester seems to be more interested in having these two players than CR7. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the source of this news anymore.

Because he knows the Italian League, is not an easy league to play in.
Because he knows the ambient of Juventus.

Because is what they need, if they will not take Pogba they will go for a similar player, a box to box with great skill in passing and shooting from distance.

If Juventus sells Ronaldo to get Pogba, in my opinion, this will be the biggest mistake from Pirlo and juventus board. Because, Ronaldo proved his consistency in every match he participated in. As for Pogba, he is still not sure to be able to make a positive contribution to Juventus who want to return to become champions of Serie A or not when he is come back. If Juventus is experiencing financial difficulties and decides to sell Ronaldo, then Juventus should look for other players who have better potential to play in every Juventus match like how ronaldo doing.

Won't be really that "studid" if you ask me if they sold Ronaldo for Pogba it would only mean that Juventus is really cutting down their expenses and right now Ronaldo's wage is more than Dybala's, De Ligt's, and Ramsey's wage combined. If they are able to sell Ronaldo at a profit after buying Pogba they will significantly cut down their wages and maybe improve some spots from the money they have earned from Ronaldo. This is one of the scenarios I am seeing since ever since the pandemic struck Italy Juventus is one of the first Serie A clubs that asked their staff to cut their wages and this move will just be a reflection for their financial problem. Ronaldo departing Juventus won't even be the end for the team as they are still able to keep up in the league.

the german sports magazine kicker.de reports on the signing of another international talent to bvb

Quote
Borussia Dortmund has signed center back Soumaila Coulibaly (17), one of the "most promising" talents from PSG's academy.

We have seen so many times that Dortmund sign very talented and promising players and after playing for some time there, they choose to go to Bayern in general.  Grin  I wonder whether we will see a similar scenario with Coulibaly also in the future (if he is really promising as it is said). Anyway, still congrats for them!  Cheesy

It seems probable that they will use the Ronaldo money (money that will not go towards his wages) for Pogba transfer. There's a lot of talk about Pogba going back and there's no way Juventus can afford him while keeping Ronaldo.

I think everything's better than spending money on Pogba but the press is saying all parties want that deal done. If that's true, Ronaldo needs to go.

Former Red devils defender and legend Rio Ferdinand is expecting that Haaland will move to England rather than France or Spain.
In his eyes, ManU should do everything possible so that Haaland will move to them, because with him would also return success..
If Manchester United thinks that if they sign Haaland they'll automatically have a successful season, I'm not saying that Haaland wouldn't improve this Manchester United team, of course he will, but with how quality players bought with quite a large amount of money have flopped in recent times at Old Trafford, there's also a possibility that Haaland can follow in that footstep.

Manchester United need a couple of other players in other positions, not just in the number 9 position, imo, United even need a new manager, I don't think OGS is the man to deliver the success United seeks. Having said that, if I am Haaland, I'd not even go to United, they are a club still fixing quite a lot of things about their team, I'd prefer him to move to a more stable team like City, though that'll make City too strong and totally unstoppable.

The club needs new players to fill several positions that are considered as weak position. What should they do to save the club and back to winning track is to fill the weak position with new players and also when the club needs to reduce expenses from the star's salary who may no longer be contributing to the good income from his merchandise sales. This is what I thought was why clubs like MU and Madrid were selling Ronaldo. IMO

I don't know whether Pogba could go back to Juventus but there is a very big weakness on their midfield for sure. They need to make the necessary transfer(s) for there in this summer and strengthen the lineup. Losing Ronaldo of course will be really bad for Juventus as he still plays great and makes a great deal of contribution to the club. They can't continue with only Morata and Dybala (who will most likely be leaving this summer). They should also make a good striker transfer.
