Real Madrid are keen to sign N'Golo Kante from Chelsea. Price? A real little thing, £71m  Grin
Kante is a very strong defensive midfielder and has developed so well since winning the EPL with Leicester and going on to win it the next season with Chelsea, he'll be good in any team, but he doesn't look like the type of player Madrid would go for. (I think this is just a rumor) Madrid loves box to box defensive midfielders, that not only can stop attack, but also start one. (like Toni Kroos) Kante is good defensively, but I don't rate him so high on the offensive (or on the ball as well).
Shocking news came from Paris Saint-Germain's Sports Director, Leonardo, who said that the two mainstay PSG players, Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva were confirmed to leave the club at the end of the season.
That will make both Cavani and T.Silva free transfer targets, I knew Cavani's time at the club will come to an end soon, he doesn't seem to get along well with Neymar and I'm sure PSG want to make Neymar the only star man to make him stay at the club. imo Cavani can still offer quality performances at the top level and T.silva can be a good back up defender. With the virus limiting the amount teams will want to spend, they will both be good options for teams In Europe, prolly for one season or so.

Previously it had been rumored that PSG would not extend the Cavani and Silva contracts which would expire at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Leonardo confirms - Tenure of Thiago Silva and Cavani at PSG "coming to an end"

Cavani had all the fonts to become the next big striker in Europe.
He was amazing at Napoli but mediocre in PSG. Sadly for him, he couldn't prove anything more and he has not offers from European clubs anymore.

Loris Karius has been let go from his club Besiktas and went back to Liverpool. He is not registered for the premier league and also they have Alisson is at liverpool which is why I doubt he would ever get minutes anyway even if he was registered. However its still weird that someone who is as good as Karius who would go as further as being the champions league finals game and goalkeeping there, to only get scored by mistake and have a downfall so hard that he was let go from the team who is 5th in Turkish League. I mean from champions league teams goalkeeper to turkish leagues 5th team unwanted player is really not something you become in just 2 seasons unless you have some sort of injury, this dude must be superb unlucky or have some sort of personality that makes him unwanted.

True words. I think it's a mix of several components. The question is whether he has already recovered psychologically from his Champions League Final failures. He is now 27 years old and will have no chance against Alisson. He has no future in Liverpool and will move to a other club for sure. My guess is that he will soon be seen in the Bundesliga again also because of his girl friend.

As guessed with the restart of the season a lot of trash talk died...
We can probably assume 90% of market news we got as fake news created only for clickbait.

Teams can now only do pre-contracts before the end of this month to put money on the 2019-2020 financial balance, they can't buy players (they can only if they will pay the clause)

Funny how it's turning out for Werner.  I thought LFC had a done deal.  But I don't mind him being at Chelsea tbh.  It's gonna even out the top 4.  Lol.

But we'll see how the huge transfers pan out...  I got a bet that none of the 50m huge ones and up would go thru.  EPL clubs alone lost a billion GBP total in revenue.

Chelsea are also interested in signing Kai Havertz from Leverkusen, aren't they? Their offense would be amazing with him, Werner and Ziyech.

I was also wondering how Chelsea seems to have to much money to spend in the current situation. Sure, they were forced to take a step back because they were suspended from the transfer market and so didn't spend much recently. But spending this much money with the whole Corona situation still ongoing and still not knowing how the new season will look like, when the fans will be able to come back to the stadiums and how the TV income will look like? Seems like teams with a generous financier like Abramovich won't be affected by the crisis that much.

I wanted Werner but it obviously wasn’t meant to be. I don’t think he would start ahead of Mane, Salah or Firmino so maybe he didn’t like the competition for places. At Chelsea he will go straight in as top dog.

Kante is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world right now and he totally deserves this amount.
It would be a huge lose for the blues but with this money they can buy a new talent for this position.

I don't think that he is going to stay at Liverpool.
Probably he is going to be given on loan to an English club. He made a lot of crucial mistakes when he was at Liverpool and he is a black sheep in the team. Besiktas might be 5th but don't forget that he is one of the best teams in Turkey.

Definitely no Liverpool fan would want to see Karius in goal again for the club, not after so many poor performances capped off with a shambolic display in the champions league final against Madrid that cost Liverpool the title.

Karius isn't a good goalkeeper, not in any way and the reason why he was between the sticks for Liverpool in the final was because they had no choice, (not for any quality) choosing between Karius and Mignolet who is also horrible is not a decision any manger will love to make. (In a UCL final match) Allison has made it easier for Klopp to breathe when opposition teams are attacking Liverpool and there is no way back for Karius or any other goalkeeper in the Liverpool team.

I get the David one, he is a good player and he is only 20 years old so I think he would be a great transfer wherever he ends up. If you have seen him play he both has great talent but he also takes advantage of the fast pace football of Belgium as well. I think if you want him on a premier league team it would have to be some team that plays a fast pace, Arsenal and United doesn't feel like those teams, I would say the perfect place for him would be Leicester City.

Hwang on the other hand is not really that great of a transfer, he is 24 years old and he showed everyone what he can do, sure he might peak more but he is not going to be a Werner for sure. Werner wasn't world star Messi, Ronaldo type of player but he was at least a good star everyone knew, Hwang can't reach to that level.

From what I know Belgium's football league, Jupiler Pro League, isn't one of the top leagues in Europe yes Belgium produces top players but you can't say that the same caliber of competitiveness can be seen in the Belgian league biggest proof of that is how Belgian teams like Anderlecht or Club Brugge fails to impress in the Champions League. David might be a good player in Jupiler Pro League but you can't say the same thing when he transfers to a league like EPL. Yes he is 20 years old and we might consider it young but in the football world David cannot be counted as a wonderkid anymore what we are seeing now might just be his peak form in a lower tier European league.

Then let's hope Silva doesn't come to Arsenal Wink
- Luiz is a great guy in person but not a good defender.

I think we could say exactly that about many footballers, but we could say exactly the opposite for a LOT of footballers (great player, shitty person haha). There are some players we as neutrals never want to go to our team but hope they go to our enemy's team! Like Pogba, I'd love for him to join Real and mess things up there. Great player at times, pretty shit most times (after Juventus).

Alvaro Morata is now on Inter's radar, with Vecino in the exchange according to several media.

Arthur-Pjanic is still under the way, keep in mind the date when it must happen is before the 30/06/2020.

Milinkovis-Savic is in the market, a big team can now offer money to get him.

You did not understand me. In Ronaldo's case, there is no limit to his physical fitness and performance. I mean only a few clubs have money for them and the power to return big money through marketing.
For example, its price is ~70 mill + 30 mill salary x2 (2 years) = ~130 mills (no matter is it a dollar, euro or pound). Just to compare, Newcastle with all players, staff, infrastructure, the stadium will be sold for 300mill (Ronaldo's two years cost half of the price).
~Snipped~
Sorry, I misunderstood your earlier post. You're right, only a few options for him at the moment.
- I just hope he doesn't return to Old Trafford. He'll surely make them a regular top 4 team (bad for me).
- I think he'll probably end up at PSG if Neymar leaves.

I believe that he is going to stay at Arsenal only is Silva is going to join the club.
