You are right! Haaland does have good goal scoring instinct but his movements are not impressive. He is kinda slow to receive ball from midfield and shift the body into attacking momentum. He mostly loses ball in this transition. He has to bring more swiftness and speed into his game if he wanted to join the league of Zlatan, Ageuro or Suarez.

Even if Haaland will be a bad player for 30 Million is a good operation for the one who will get him.

With the money in the circus increasing every year, in 3 years you can easily sell at the same price or more (if he will fail).
If he will not fail and he will become a top player you can easily earn 50 Millions in 2 years.

Not necessarily. Barcelona bought Dembele for €125M and Coutinho for €140M. But no will pay even 75% of that in present market. Max both can draw 50% of their spending.
Similarly Jao Felix was hyped and sold for €126M but he doesn't worth that much, even on good days.

Players have to performance if they want their price tag go up or at least retain its value.

No doubt, €30M is a good deal for hyped player who is barely 19. But I don't think Salzburg will let Haaland go for anything below €50M and paying above €50M will be a bad business if he doesn't improve significantly.

I personally think United need proven talent atm not young players who may or may not become top class.

Haaland on the other hand doesn't seem like a really "team changer" type of deal for me, Juventus could use him very well but its not going to be like "Juventus got Haaland and suddenly they became champions easily with 10+ point difference" type of guaranteed success just because they got him, its more of a future investment than just short term 6 months transfer for them.

Moreover, Juventus forward line is already too much crowded. Basic Juventus formation only uses 2 men upfront and with Ronaldo, Dybala, Higuain, Costa and Bernardeschi already as the contenders, Haaland may have to spend most of the time on bench for first couple of seasons. With his attitude and self-importance, I doubt he would like to remain on bench for long.

He’s gone to some random team in Abu Dhabi, must be for huge wages because it’s certainly not a sporting decision. He’s effectively retiring moving over there.

He refused Manchester on the summer market window.
The deal was done, till the evening of the day... The following morning he called and said, "No Thankyou".
He refused Dourtmound and Barca too...

I wasn't expecting Mandzukic to go for free, I mean I can understand why he would go for "cheap" but this is a really good player you have in your roster, you might be Juventus but sending a player that would help 10+ Serie A teams for free to some Qatar or whatever team for free doesn't sound too logical, these teams have so much money that they don't care about the 3-5 million they could definitely make from these sales, you think someone who gets Mandzukic can't pay for another 3-5 million?

That is a ton of money for us but Juventus didn't even cared, that is how much money is involved with football.

Even if they have money, they can't spend for the Fair Play thing, you know Juve is not Manchester City and do whatever they want...

So if the plan is to get players on January they need to get/save money from the balance.

I thought Haaland was definitely on his way to Manchester United because of some recent social media posts and with father visiting Carrington Park, I knew He would be coming by either January since his current club are no longer in the Champions League anymore  but Juventus want to hijack the deal.

^^ SO many newspapers are writing about Haaland so I think it is true that he joins Juventus.
Now the question rises what is going to happen with Dybala. He is on a great season but he plays on a similar position with Haaland. Does the arrival of Haaland mean that it is time for Dybala to move?
Juventus???  I guess that will be a big miss for him if he joins juventus,  he needs to join a team that plays attacking football, just take a good look at Cristiano Ronaldo,  it's been a while he scored an hat trick, I'm pretty sure if he is still in Madrid he would have scored more goals than he had in juventus currently,  Haaland needs a good attacking club

Juventus is a good attacking team but for Italy.
Italian league has a lot of strong defenses and wins are gotten due to the best physically stronger players. Do you think it's easier to do a hat trick on Italy rather than in Spain?

According to the Italian press, Haaland is a deal almost done for Juventus.

And according to UK press, Haaland is a deal almost done for Manchester Cheesy

But seems very close to Juventus!

The price should be 30M €.

Did you guys know that Steve Walsh (former scout at Leicester who was partly responsible for the building the EPL winning squad) had Haaland to Everton (he was football director at the time) for 3m GBP?  (But was ultimately rejected)

10+M saved from his salary, maybe for the incoming winter market session.

The big player was Deligh for ~85M, and since Juventus has not the Real's money (next year should be different), they needed to take cheap players and hope for the best.

They ended the year at -40M with Rabiot and Ramsay for free, cause players like Mandzukic, Higuain, Khedira, Matuidi, Rugani Refused EVERY team.

Again you can do nothing if they want to stay.

Mandzukic 6+6 12M €
Allegri 7+7 14M €
Khedira 6+6 12M €
Matuidi 3.5+.37 7M €
Rugani 3.5+.37 7M €

52M € only for those.
could not agree more with you.

juventus transfer thesedays seems wasteful, far from efficient, let's take a look to 3 or 5 seasons ago where juventus well known as a club with the most clever and effective signings such as the pirlo transfer from ac milan to juventus for free provided a huge impact. big mistake from ac milan who allow him to move to rival club.

we are missing these glory days and it seems start making the same mistakes as ac milan did.
ridiculous sarri seems has no plan B.

We will never know the truth about what happened, maybe he did something behind the scenes who knows.

For the economical aspect is always the same if a player won't leave for any reason, he has been asked from Manchester United, Barca, Dortmund, etc you can't do anything.
The only solution if you can is to terminate the contract if you find someone who wants to pay him.

He is quite old for the football world and if you are not a champion no one will pay a lot of money, in fact, HE refused every top team to end on Qatar money team.

What Paratici could do differently? Nothing IMHO.

For the players, he was strong on the 3 years on the last 12 months played was a zombie in the field and often you were playing in 10 with him.

About Rabiot and Ramsay, same point.

I can't believe what Juve did to Mandzukic. They gave him away for free. An absolute fan favorite dismissed from the team. They extend his contract last year while Allegri was still the coach and this term he is completely neglected. Paratici has failed time over time. He can't sell anyone and instead terminates their contracts. The players he brought in during the summer, the likes of Ramsey or Rabiot are mostly useless.

Bye Mandzu. Thanks for the memories. Thanks for the sacrifice. Thanks for being our left back attacker when needed. Sorry that modern football doesn't give a shit about you. You wont be the first nor the last that gets screwed over.

Teams in Italy Seria A have much more serious defence than in Spain. it's much harder to score goals there.
I agree that Haland's choice can't be good if he signs to big competitive club. Something like Jovic in Real Madrid. They just there won't have enough chances to play and give the best of yourself.
Top clubs are always under pressure, and very rarely or never risk with youngsters.
Man Utd also in my opinion ain't the best club for him to join,  had it been Arsenal or Man city had interest in him it would have been a good choice for him, hopefully he will do well if eventually he joins Man Utd

If the article I read had good info, he had a choice between Juve, milan, united, dortmund and leipzig. If that is true and they all offered good contracts I believe he made a big mistake. He would have had much more joy  in Germany. Both leipzig and dortmund are playing very attacking football and like to give young players a real chance to shine.

I think he'll fit a lot better in Man Utd. Ole is keen on using the youngsters in the first team so Haaland might actually have a shot in making it into the starting XI, while in Juventus they have CR7 and Higuain, so Haaland will most likely be the 2nd or 3rd option, and that's not good for a 19yo who needs lots of minutes on the pitch to develop.

But nevertheless, i'm still surprised that so many top teams are interested in this kid, just because of a couple of games  Shocked

In other news:

• Arsenal are keen on Moussa Dembele (Lyon) [1]
• Arturo Vidal (Barcelona FC) very close to signing with Inter.[2]
