Yeah i saw that news earlier today in croatian media. I really hoped that he will sign his last contract with some team from EPL or at least Dortmund, but well, i guess he chose money over quality of football.But i can't really blame him, he had good career, won many trophies and now when he retired from national team he can go somewhere where he will make some extra $$.
Personally, I have to admit that I am very disappointed with this outcome.
I have been following Mandjukic for a long time and he has always been a fighter and never gave up in his career.
And now, instead of going to Dortmund or Manchester and playing in a big club, he chose early retirement in an exotic country.
I don't understand what happened to him, this is not the Mandjukic I know.
Perhaps the last six months in Juventus and the boycott and isolation he has undergone have influenced him in a negative way.

I am still wondering why up to now Arsenal decided to go Arteta. I feel he won't bring any much change at the Emirates. Perhaps it's the stingy nature of the bosses to opt for cheaper options knowing that if they attempt to go for a top manager, they will have to splash cash for new signings which they have always been reluctant to do.Quote

My guess is they didn't want to make a bigger manager deal in the middle of the season. Actually, if we reconsider, that could be the right decision. Brought in larger sums, a better manager would bring financial burden if he failed at year's end.

I will never consider him a good coach, he got the luck to be on Milan back on days and from there he started his carrier. On the elitist clubs, hard not to win with that potential.
When he was at Juventus he was using Thierry Henry as back wing... and for that Juventus basically sold him for very very cheap price after less than 1 year.
I am thinking same with you. Ancelotti won't deal with Premier League. And he won't be success against Mourinho, Kloop and Guardiola.

He got his chances as well on Manchester but the whole team didn't perform well and his price was dropped.

Liverpool prolly bagged another excellent player with Minamino (from Salzburg) for just 7.5m GBP. Two of the clubs in England that have been doing a great job in the last couple or so transfer windows are LFC and Leicester.
I think that we have to give this credits for those good transfers to Jurgen Klopp.
His is a coach who appreciates young talents and he is always working with them in every team he has managed so far. From Dortmund to Liverpool he has made great deals in transfers windows.

I doubt that there is any chance of him winning the Champions League and he had no chance of winning the Premier League last season until Liverpool bottled it and let them win it. He is going to stay and will be adding more players to his team when the season is over or he will go and replace Valverde and try to win the Champions League with Barcelona once again. Unless he wins the CL this season then I think Pep will go.
