Haaland is a big risk imo, he has a great goal scoring record but come on, most of those goals are in the Austrian league which is far weaker than the PL. He’s very young & will only improve but I think it’s going to be a big transfer fee, I wouldn’t want him at LFC.
bigger risk , bigger potential. worth to spend the money of $100 million? i don't think it will be worth , $50 million for such young age maybe considerable. i couldnt agree more with you that this is on another level , english premier league will shock him at first but nobody knows that he can adapt quickly and or even surprised all of us then? i expect him to landed in turin but the rumor has it. manchester united is leading the race for haaland now.

@LFC_Bitcoin while I adore Hallands goal scoring skills he’s yet not ready for premier league football, and if his first two seasons turn out to be a disaster then he’ll be branded as a flop way to early in his career.

The only reason Manchester United are pushing for this transfer is because Ole has worked with him in the past, and it’s an absurd reason to target Halland because we need an experienced striker to save our season.

Also Halland will never move to Liverpool because he’ll never make it to their starting lineup, and I’m sure he won’t like to be a substitute in each and every match. Though there’s good news for you as Klopp is planning a move to sign for him, and I expect this will trigger a bidding war between Manchester United and Liverpool.

it has been a trend i think for a team like even barcelona who giving more chance to their very young talents to show off and so far so good , ansufati did very well.
at borussia dortmund , jadon sancho making the world paying attention on him.

all of them included haaland are under 20 and they show the world it is not about experience anymore it is about giving the young talents early chance thesedays.

haaland is indeed the big bet for ole and manchester united.
and when it comes to betting , there is a big rewards behind the big risk hehe

Liverpool prolly bagged another excellent player with Minamino (from Salzburg)  for just 7.5m GBP.  Two of the clubs in England that have been doing a great job in the last couple or so transfer windows are LFC and Leicester.

According to Sportmediaset.it they are bouncing news from Spain in this case

Real Madrid is trying to ger Sergei Milinkovic Savic from Lazio for 105 Millions.

https://www.sportmediaset.mediaset.it/mercato/lazio/milinkovic-il-real-prepara-lassalto-pronti-105-milioni-di-euro_12560154-201902a.shtml

I want this to happen so Juventus will not get him and Real will probably will can't have Pogba too.

Just a small note.

Joao Felix on last week's event in Italy was a "sèecial guest" on CR7 Plane.  Grin (Remember DeLigt?).
I don't think he will come to Juventus anyway, They need to sell Dybala to get him, and right now Dybala is so strong!

Letting Dybala go/selling it will be a big regret for Juventus in the future. Dybala is very talented player and he is still young, Juventus should keep him as long as possible while their other forward players are getting older. Ronaldo and Higuain are obviously great players but they are getting old already. Selling Dybala for Felix wont be good for the future as it will not change anything for Juventus.

New rumors about 6 months contract for Juventus.

Vidal and LLoriente on the January market session, on Loan.

A very small rumor on Ferran Torres too for the next year.

Anyway, today was a good day for them, they increased the value of capital by 292 Million, 150 of them can be used on the market and extra things from what I can understand.

About Pep he can come to Juventus too. They can sac Sarri if they need to do so. He costs not so much. (6+taxes)

atletico madrid inserted release clause of 350 million euro for joao felix as he has 7 years contract untill june 2026.
this won't happen in the near future.
2 or 4 years later? maybe.
as fellow portuguese this special guest mean nothing but a conversation between the two portuguese pride, nobody know what they talking about , it could be a lobby for joao felix next transfer moves? of course it could be but as i said it won't happened in the near future , the release clause is out of reach for anybody - it will only be an extravagance -

There are rumors swirling around that Arteta is leaving Pep to manage Arsenal.  Some say that he already signed a three year deal or something.

What do you guys think?

Now is almost official.
He will be coach of Arsenal according to the web in the last hour.

I don't think Pep will go to Arsenal, however, he can leave Manchester at the end of the season.

Only yesterday Guardiola release an Interview saying "I wanted Juventus when I was a player", let see if, in the end, the marriage with Guardiola and Juventus can be a thing.

Pep will probably leave City in the summer, he always likes to manage the richest club in each league he manages in. Do we even know if he’s that great?

Barcelona - Managing Messi & some fantastic players like Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta. I could probably have won trophies there as a coach.
Bayern - Richest club in Germany, not hard to win that league.
City - Richest club in England, now looks like Klopp is getting the better of him.

Worth mentioning he hasn’t got to a CL Final without Messi. Surely that’s why Bayern & City employed him, to win the CL.

I’m sure if he goes to Juve he will win Serie A but so does every manager before him.

I don't think so.  Pep will see out his contract and leave when it expires (on 2021?).  Again...  it's the Txiki and Ferran Soriano factor.  Pep respects them too much.  I'm willing to make a small bet on it for fun.  Wink

As for Arteta, football journos writing bs again.  I'll just wait for the official announcement from the club and Arteta.

Fabrizio Romano is quite a good source in this historical moment for the transfer market, here is a good point on the Haaland situation.

Haaland will undoubtedly be one of the most important names of the next transfer period. But I think it would be better for him to finish the season at his club. In this type of mid-season transfers big investments often do not end well. But the best option among the mentioned teams seems to be Man Utd. They need a good striker and Haaland profile suits to Man Utd, I think.

Why this should be a keep for Man Utd?
Leipzig and Borussia are stronger and more competitive teams in their domestic championship and apart from that, they are playing on the Champions League and not in the Europa League. A step in his future career would be better to join Leipzig or Dortmund and not Man Utd.

I can't help but think that the top clubs (Man Utd and Juve) are interested in this kid mainly because of all the hype and potential to sell a bunch of t-shirts to the folks in Norway, that plus whatever deal they could potentially make with norwegian companies (that kid and Solskjaer, this combo is a gold mine for advertising companies lol).

With all buzz surrouding him you'd think he has the potential of Mbappe lol  Grin

Looks like the Arsenal board couldn't convince Allegri or any other experienced manager (that or they simply don't have the money to pay the wages of top managers).

IMO if they hire Arteta, it means that they're gonna start a new long-term project, I don't think they're gonna sack the spaniard even if the team's performance doesn't improve this season, otherwise, Arsenal would be the laughing stock of the EPL (three managers sacked in one season? imagine the memes lol). I'm more interested to see if they're gonna sign players in the next transfer window.

That's a very bad decision on the part of the Arsenal board of directors for choosing someone who doesn't have any real experience of managing a a football on his own because it's a totally different thing when you are in total control of a club and when you are just the assistant manager. They should have gone in for someone who has the experience rather than a novice. Maybe they don't have lots of expectation with regards to Arteta.

I have a certain sympathy for this club but obviously, there are major problems in Arsenal. Undergoing a difficult transition after Arsen Venger era, something like Man. United in post SAF period, but it seems much worst. I don't think an inexperienced manager like Arteta can be a good choice. They need to give them two seasons to consolidate club at the first and after that team. It is much more complicated than only to motivate players to give the best from yourself.
I don't think Arteta can do something better than Emery.

I presume it’s a big pay rise for Arteta & a chance to be the Chief rather than an Indian, good luck to him. I imagine Pep isn’t too happy bit he will understand I think.
