Ozil is getting a ton of money for not playing at all, he has no stress because he is not playing so whatever happens in Arsenal is not his problem, he just goes out and practices and watches the game from the best place of the pitch and that's it, I would love a job like that, getting millions of dollars and having no responsibility at all.

~snip~
I don't think so, Ozil is a great player. He wanted to always play, Arsenal needed him badly but they were forced by circumstances. We know that ozil is a good person, he often talks about violence against humanity in other parts of the world. Maybe the club doesn't like that and it will have a bad effect on the club. Several times the arsenal talked about why Ozil was not in the arsenal's main squad, but all answered that it was not true. If you see this
https://twitter.com/MesutOzil1088/status/1318874490646953984?s=19
then Ozil is actually a loyal person to the club. I heard that Milan are ready to host him for the next transfer window.

Transfer rumours:

Tottenham Hotspur have offered South Korea forward Son Heung-min a new five-year contract worth £200,000 a week plus performance-related bonuses, Is it Jose Mourinho who fell in love with Son?  Grin
Real Madrid's plan to sign Paris St-Germain's France striker Kylian Mbappe, would not be affected were coach Zinedine Zidane to leave the club. Is everything already decided or can there still be new surprises?
The agent of Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil claims Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has not been truthful about the reasons for exiling the German playmaker from the squad. This saga seems to have no end and is starting to look like a soap opera  Grin
Manchester City are set to sign Partizan winger Filip Stevanovic for £6m in the January transfer window. Great job for a Serbian football player and an opportunity of a lifetime.

My favorite club in the world is partizan its in my city and my country and i dont think they will sell Stevanovic for 6 milion for such a young prospect this is out of the question
They are predicting he can be sold for 15m $
So this rumor isnt true that he will sign for city

I hope you're right and the financial situation of Partizan is stable and that they don't have to sell the best players immediately, as soon as they get the first god offer.
Nevertheless, experience teaches me that clubs from the ex yu region (and east europe)  mostly survive on selling their best players and generally they aren't in a position to be able to keep their best players at the club for a long time.
As you know in football, money mostly says and everything else is less important.
Do you think it's really realistic to get $15m for Stevanovic?

Pretty sure that this has to do with the higher ups and Arteta is probably the person that was forced to spell out that decision basically taking all the blame for this case. If they are looking for the actual reasons then they are never going to get it. The fact stands, Ozil is never going to be getting any spot on the squad and he should be

Well its really expected from Ozil that always made sensitive remark response regarding political situation on some countries

@Daniel91 Tottenham are absolutely correct to give Son a five year deal because he’s an excellent player, and in my personal opinion there will be lot of demand for him in the next summer transfer window unless they can tie him down to a new deal. Also it’s seems that Zidane is on the brink of being sacked, and if that was to happen then who do you’ll think will step in the hot seat Pochettino or Raul?.

Quote

REAL MADRID are reportedly considering Mauricio Pochettino and Raul as their next manager if they decide to sack Zinedine Zidane.

Just wondering who you guys got on who's gonna make the most impact in the EPL among the new transfers..  I think LFC made the best acquisition in Thiago imo.  Chelsea's Werner's a close second.

I understand that a great player should want to play in a team and make a difference but when you do not have any offers like that from any other big team, you either go to leagues like Qatar or something to get the money but play in a horrible team or you go to championships level places and get less money but be a great player in a respected league. I would rather have them both, be in one of the most respected teams in the world AND get paid a lot.
He do care about the club but the club itself treating him like nothing
It was well known behind ozil left out from the 25 premier league squad because of political reasons.
It was not the first time also , look back when newcastle canceled the deal for the club overtaken by prince saudi arabia mohammed bin salman , they said the prince wont pass the league's ownership test etc , but actually it was pure political reasons. Shame on them.
Ozil doesnt really enjoy the huge money he make at arsenal it is proven by how he voluntarily giving his salary for arsenal mascot while the club struggling, few weeks later this is arsenal response. What a garbage board.

Dembele is a risky investment, he is young but he is always injured.
He costs a lot of money, he has a big salary and he has a childish mentality on what they are saying.

Do you really want this kind of player in your team?

More than anything I think the mentality is what harms people like Dembele (and I think to me also a small extent Pogba). You know even with injury prone people if you manage them well you give them back confidence to even play through minor pains. Some players though,,, they just break so easily with some setbacks. Dembele is talented but he is forever haunted by his mentality.

If it wasn’t for him being so injury prone I’d take him at Liverpool. The injuries are such a big factor though so for that reason, no I wouldn’t have him.

We tried to loan him last season. That'd be the best option, to see day after day in training practice and in general what kind of attitude does he have.
He still is a great potential and if he decides he wants to be a good football player, he still has time to accomplish that. But if he decides to play FIFA until 3 am and be late for every 2nd training practice, then there's not much a club can do to justify paying a lot of money for him.

In a situation Liverpool's currently at, I'd be looking to bring another offensive player in only if one of our starting players wants to go. And then I'd probably go hard in for Mbappe and when that fails, turn to Sancho instead. I'd not gamble on a player like Dembele, we have gone too far forward to take such risks anymore.

So despite Mesut Ozil's age, I think he should move to a different club, no matter the cost, a paycut or whatever, what should matter to a footballer is that he is doing what he loves most, and that should be playing week in, week out. The more he stays at Arsenal, the more it looks like his career is over, Ozil gave assists for fun back then, it's crazy Sad.

Yeah that's the best, even world cup final scorer Gotze found a club after going out of contract from Dortmund. Ozil is still a great player but team is not giving him any chance. I am sure in upcoming transfer window someone might try on getting Ozil in their team. Really unhappy with the decision of leaving Mesut Ozil out of Arsenal squad.
A very difficult situation faced by Mesut Oezil this season at Arsenal, how could he not be labeled as a star player and have contributed maximally to Arsenal a few seasons ago he had to accept the fact that this season his name was not registered in the English league and also the European league, of course this will be speculation is very unfortunate because Mikel Arteta did not include Oezil in the Gunner squad this season in the English league. Oezil has one more season left on his contract at Arsenal and will have to wait for the transfer market in the winter to move to another club with the option of a loan or contract termination. We'll see the transfer market later whether Oezil will still stay at Arsenal or not.

There is no doubt that he plays great. He has incredible skills.
Indeed. We should remember when he was in Real Madrid. At that time, he played a big role to give assists to CR7 and Benzema. Even, in some matches, I assume that Ozil is the man of the match to determine the victory.

But I think he's little lazy.
No, I don't think so. As far as I know, Ozil isn't a bad boy. It's his playing style, mate.  Wink

Milan would be a good fit. It would be a great duo with Ibra ~
Good idea. It will be interesting to see duo Ibra and Ozil.
As we know that Ibra likes to play "long ball". While Ozil is a perfect player for that style, he can give assists accurately.

I don't see Ozil age as a hindrance for him to get a good club and the Arsenal coach not including him in the team 25 men squad for the Premier League is what I consider as a hindrance for him which may impact his career but Coach later explain the reason for his action which he said because Ozil have played final game for the club until February next year.

But if the transfer is successful, Dembele and Koulibaly were only able
to join in early January 2021 when the transfer market opened again.
Yes, they will join in January, all of us know how transfer market in europe works, why people thinking this rumour will happen today  Grin

None of this can happen until January at the earliest but it’ll be interesting to see if there are any big money deals actioned. It might be tough for some clubs to spend due to the massive loss of income due to covid (no match tickets sold).

From premier league, Manchester United reported make a deal with Barcelona for Dembele, but with scenario Barcelona success to bring Depay, and Lyon can bring Slimani from Leicester. I think if one of them failed, so transfer Dembele may canceled until Barcelona or Lyon get another option. And Liverpool being linked with Kalidou Koulibaly and ready to pay €70m

Hopefully Manchester United and Liverpool can get their target players. But if the transfer is successful, Dembele and Koulibaly were only able
to join in early January 2021 when the transfer market opened again. Actually, Manchester United should bring in a quality center defender like
Koulibaly, because seeing the last few matches of Manchester United, his defensive performance was very bad.

+1 to that, just take a look at James Rodriguez at Everton right now, it looked like his career was over at real Madrid, as he went on different loans, but didn't really shine, nor did he get himself back in form, but since he moved to Everton and reunited with a manager he loves to work with: Carlo Ancelloti, his performances in the four games Everton have played this season have been outstanding and imo, thus far he's looked like the best player in the epl (I mean in the games played so far).

I feel really bad for teenagers with such bright prospects but who end up getting shifted around and around and then they get older and never play. James is doing so well at Everton but remember, they also bought Moise Kean,,, who was a superstar for Italy and then now he got sold again to PSG where hopefully he does something.
