Barca have reportedly paid Antoine Griezmann release clause and could announce him as early as friday (tomorrow), As reported by goal. com

Probably my most Barca hated transfer, I mean before the player starts playing for the team!

If he goes to Barca in the end, it will be fun to see what will happen to Neymar, I doubt he can go there.

If the rumor from Real is true then he maybe goes there and they will probably can't take Neymar and Pogba, so Pogba will come to Juve?!

Or he will just stay at PSG?

You can't gauge how good a player is just on goals, there are many things that don't show up on the stat sheet.

Anyone here interested in Major League Soccer (USA league) at all?  Never see anyone discuss the MLS in this thread, its all euro leagues.

I just don’t think he’s lived up to the hype, people were talking about like as if he was going to be the next Gerrard or something when he was younger.

He just looks like another player at Man Utd. I don’t know if it’s because United are poor at the moment but he came to England with a record fee & he is far away from justifying it.

Maybe if he moves we will see the real Pogba but in England he’s just a slightly above average player.

Well, his statistics are not bad for an attacking midfielder, I don't think we can find one better than him.

Especially this season he did great there https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Pogba

24 goals in 95 Premier League games?
7 of those were penalties so we have 17 goals from open play in 95 games.

If we are just limiting it to the PL then David Silva, Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne, Christian Eriksen are all better than him & that’s without thinking more deeply & looking into stats.

I really thought the sale to the Bin Zayed Group was a done deal.  The bookies even had Mou as one of the favorites to take over as manager at one point..  So I was like 'yay I'm gonna bet this and gonna make a lot of money!'.
oh the greed, man lol

Fucking hell, Sam Allardyce to replace Rafa Benitez is like trading in Mila Kunis for Amy Schumer. I feel for Newcastle if they end up with Allardyce, his tactics are back in the stone ages plus he’s a horrible, angry dick head too.
The latter was fine during her prime (i think?), now she's a landwhale which is a big turn off  Roll Eyes (hmm, never thought i would share my opinion about amy shumer in a bitcoin forum  Tongue

The diva disease keeps spreading like wildfire. Koscielny does not want to join Arsenal's preseason in the US[1] as he wants to leave The Gunners and go to France.

This is so out of the blue, and it completely fucks up Arsenal's plans of signing new players (Zaha, Dani Ceballos, Lucas Vazquez, etc, all negotiations are now on hold) because now they need to keep Mustafi (who was on the verge of being sold) and the main priority is to sign a quality centreback (I honestly don't expect Arsenal to persuade Koscielny to stay, he's 33 years old).

These transfer sagas are starting to get on my nerves. All those overpriced and overpayed players just complaining how hard it is to play football for shitload of money. This goes especially for Pogba and Neymar, they are both in big clubs getting more money than they deserve for their presentation and unhappy with situation.

Life, Love and Laughter...
Anyway my Newcastle to finish top 6 is looking like another impulsive (not to say dumb) spew by me.  I don't think Ashley is selling the club and the new favorite to become its new manager is...  Steve Bruce.  From Benitez to Bruce.  Lmao.
Man, I honestly don't know how you came up with that haha  Grin and now Bruce is on the race too? That plus the fact that they haven't made a single signing (i read that they're the only EPL club that haven't bought a single player in this transfer window), and with rumours about Rondon leaving to China, I'd say Newcastle will most likely battle to stay out of the relegation zone next season, 20th to 15th position is looking very likely  Tongue

Some news from today:

Alberto Moreno (Liverpool) to Villareal done deal.
Bayern keen on Ziyech (Ajax).
Arsenal and Everton keen on Malcom (Barcelona).
The Gunners are also interested in Lucas Vazquez (Real Madrid)...Please, Emery, please...

Dunno...  Lol.  I really thought the sale to the Bin Zayed Group was a done deal.  The bookies even had Mou as one of the favorites to take over as manager at one point..  So I was like 'yay I'm gonna bet this and gonna make a lot of money!'.

And I feel for Moreno.  He's a great guy but just not good enough.

I dunno why people still go crazy for Pogba, he’s absolutely sucked for a couple of years now at coub level. He’s not the player people thought he was going to become when he was really young.

Why? admire him in this video when he was on Juventus, he was a beast.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q01k9-PmAD8

I really hope to see him back to Juve, best midfielder of the last decade when he was with us.

This should be the week for DeLigt, Juventus want him before the tournè for the ICC in Asia.
I've heard that before and the saga is still going LOL Hopefully, they'll close the deal soon, i'm getting tired of reading the same De Ligt story in every single newspaper everyday.

This is a fun story, DeLigt got a "gentleman agreement" with Ajax for leaving the club for 50M €.

Juventus is trying to use this agreement to save money. (at least a portion from the 75 wanted by Ajax) Imagine DeLigt bought for only 50.

I've said it before, I don't think Pogba is the man to solo carry a team, I think he needs to be the 2nd guitar. The best Pogba we saw was in Juventus and he had the likes of Pirlo and Vidal next to him. In Real Madrid he would have Kroos, Modric, or Casemiro, taking the lead, plus Zidane might be the man to boost Pogba's confidence and work ethics.

yo, @tokeweed, it's happening!!  Grin  https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/07/11/newcastle-poised-appoint-steve-bruce-manager-hope-will-join/

I think I’ve mentioned my thoughts on Pogba here before. He has all the tools to be one of the best but he hasn’t got the dedication & doesn’t work hard enough to realise his full potential.

Everything is right what you are saying about his quality.  But ...
They have big marketing potential, and it is the only reason why they still in Manchester United and why RM and Juventus want to pay big money for him.

There's something still fishy about Paul Pogba moving to Real Madrid cause Pogba was willing to leave as I read and what Solskjaer said he that his contract will last till 2021 and he also said they didnt receive any bid for the player, despite how wealthy Real Madrid is. Besides, he also accused the media of having something against Pogba and I don't know if the media are indeed against by post some false information about Pogba.
I don't know if thats truth but what I heard on radio sport news here yesterday was Pogba manager saying  the club is no longer beneficial/enjoyable for Pogba and the having agenda against him might the reason behind it all.
If the media agenda persist then Pogba may leave Man Utd before it 2021.
Actually Pogba himself said in front of the media he would go and try new challenges. So Solskjaer was wrong about this, because Paul Pogba's commotion was not a media game. Indeed Pogba and his agent spoke directly about it.

Solskjaer deserves full credit for the way he handled the press meet, he put the blame on media shielded his players and sent a signal he’ll not criticise them in public like Mourinho did. As for the agenda against Pogba there’s no such agenda, he wishes to leave and Real Madrid wishes to buy I think it’s in best interest of all parties if the deal is done. What I’m waiting to see is who’ll be Pogbas replacement, this time I hope we get a player who performs on the field and not just on social media.
