This will be the most heartbreaking history in football, GOAT Antony will likely move to Real Betis. Cry

We will not able to watch our GOAT in Premier League anymore, there's no one can spin 360° with ball except Antony.

Hahahah Damn! It's pathetic to see Antony gave up with his current club, but he needs a fucking move. It seems he follows Greenwood's path to play in La liga, then he doesn't meet La liga's level, then ended up in farmer league. I'd rather see him goes to the farmer league directly.

No more memeable gimmick from Antony, and it makes me disappoint. They should have defended him much longer instead of let him go. Although, he has no use in Amorim's squad, he's quite popular among the footballer fans.

We're losing PL clowns one by one. It seems the competitive era is coming soon.  Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

Players can really sign for this long duration these days. Sounds interesting.

9.5 years... It is really insane. I think nobody saw it coming.  Grin  I mean a contract like this reminds me of Palmer - Chelsea. He also signed for a similar time period. Now Haaland does it for Manchester City and honestly I was expecting him to think about his options in a couple of years the most. He still can depending on the situation though but this kind of a contract is telling people the otherwise. He must be very happy to do such thing. I would really like to see him at Barcelona one day playing against Mbappe. El Clasicos would be even more interesting.
Honestly it is scary to me learning about players committing themselves to such long term contracts. Just imagine falling out of favor a year or two later and you are so deeply tied down to a nine and half years contract, however Haaland must be really loving his time and stay at City to jump on such offer I just hope he enjoys the rest of it.
I will rather want to see him in Madrid shirts over Barcelona he will fit in better at Madrid besides with Barcelona’s financial crises I wouldn’t want him to be involved in a similar case as Olmo.

Actually the steps taken by Napoli at this time are very risky because since joining Napoli in 2022, he has been the key to their game even Osimhen has also previously said that the many goals he scored at Napoli cannot be separated from the role that Kvaratskhelia had so far, moreover they sold him when the competition was running and obviously it made their performance and chances disrupted later in the race for the Scudetto this season,
I read an analysis by a Napoli fan about this and their take is quite interesting[1]. They basically said that Kvaratskhelia probably wants to take matters into his own hands and avoid Osimhen's situation. His agent and Napoli's probably don't have a good relationship either so the negotiation of a new contract takes way too long to happen. In addition to that, they believe his performance dropped and he should look for a new challenge to get a chance to get back to his best form.

I think their analysis has a point, although the bigger factor is probably related to his agent and Napoli's stubbornness. Maybe this is the best choice for both parties.

[1] https://www.reddit.com/r/seriea/comments/1i1q14a/why_would_kvaratskhelia_want_to_leave_napoli/
The situation experienced by Osimhen actually looks more complex than what happened to Kvaratskhelia at this time, we know how Osimhen even had to be eliminated by Napoli when he wanted to move, when all solutions were not found by both parties it was actually seen if Napoli wanted to destroy Osimhen's career by wanting to sell him to the Arab League before he received a loan offer from Galatasaray, while what happened to Kvaratskhelia was it so fast in my opinion, which we don't even know if there is an issue about his move but at this moment he is suddenly sold by Napoli.
To be honest, I am very curious about Napoli chances when they currently lose their vital player in scudetto path.

I can't remember the last time Rashford played for Man United, today he is no longer on the list of players brought by Amorim to play against Brighton. Rashford has lost his place and there is no choice but to immediately make a decision to leave. Dortmund and Barcelona are ready to make offers if Rashford is willing to leave.
He better move to Dortmund, he has no chance to replace Raphinha in Barcelona, if he play as a striker, he can't play as good as he play in wing position. AFAIK Dortmund is a team that can develop the player to be better, who knows Rashford might improve in there and make Dortmund stronger, since Dortmund currently in bad shape.

Deal Done! Kvarat has completed his transfer to the PSG. 4,5 years contract, and lucrative weekly salary.

Napoli received 70 millions as a return to let him leave. I wonder who's Conte's target to fulfill his position. As far as i know Kvarat has been a crucial part of Napoli's team, but i see no concrete names to replace him.

Napoli has projected Garnacho, but is not looking realistic consider Man United may keep him longer in the club.
Finally PSG has gotten their man Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on a deal worth €70M from Napoli, what a bargain for them. It is a good thing that PSG intensified their pursuit on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to fend off all interest from other club like Manchester United, Arsenal to be able to land the highly rated, talented player. Napoli has been searching for his replacement and have identified Manchester United's Alejandro garnacho but I am not sure that Manchester United will be willing to part with the young Argentine soonest.
Napoli must fine Garnacho's backup. I'm not sure he's leaving soon, but would be good if he can change his mind for serie a's move. I really wanna see him plays together with Tominay.

Napoli has not yet named a new name as Garnacho's alternative. However, they can also consider Chiesa, who is going to leave from Liverpool soon.

Erling Haaland is indeed Man City's favorite player, so it is only natural that Man City extends his contract with a fairly long duration because they do not want to lose this player in the next few years at least until he is 30 years old it is likely that he will still stay at Man City even if someone wants to bring Erling Haaland, I think no one will be able to pay off his very long contract, so it can be said that there is no hope for other top clubs to recruit this player.
He will last a long time at Manchester City so that it will be difficult for other teams if you want to recruit him because there is a release clause that must be paid. Erling Haaland became an important player under Pep Guardiola and he made a major contribution to the success of the club even though it was inseparable from the role of other players in making him more productively scoring goals. In the Premier League Erling Haaland is still one of the top scorers today and is commensurate with the contract given by Manchester City to him so that he can last longer without interruption from other clubs who intend to recruit him.
there are stages that certain players get to that it becomes difficult for them to move out of their club in the same league to another club in that same league. Erling Halland has built that sort of reputation with Manchester city, and it is only natural for them to extend his contract so he can continue being productive for the club. i cannot even think of another club that can suit his kind of personality in the premier league except he will leave the league and join a team like real Madrid or one of those top club or possibly go back to Dortmund that were instrumental to his early beginning in his football Carrer. with man city still struggling, they need a focal attacker like Halland that has the ability of scoring more goals and in the process always placing them at a better spot above other team. Halland is that thing that is missing in most of the premier league team and that is what makes him stand out. if the likes of arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester united and even Liverpool had a sharp number 9 that is close to the range of Halland, man city would have been displaced a long time ago.

what man city needs is how to work on her midfield and possibly find a good replacement for Rodri, if they are able to fix that and the players return fully from fatigue, they will certainly go back to their beast mood.

Anyway I am happy to see Man City make a good signing in the middle of this season when the team is in a difficult period so they need a player who can help improve the attack in the front line and Omar Marmoush's performance so far has been quite good in Frankfurt besides that he is also clever in playing the rhythm of the game I hope his arrival can really help Man City and can adapt quickly.
Marmoush brilliant performance in the Bundesliga is a factor in Man City interest in him to improve their strength after slumping in the first half of this season. His presence could help improve City front line as he has impressed in the Bundesliga this season, scoring 15 goals in 17 games. Marmoush speed, skill and sharp finishing are expected to increase City goal productivity, if he can collaborate effectively with Haaland in the front line, then City chances of finishing in the UCL Zone are very big

Both parties have finally reached agreement on fees to be paid, Manchester City have made a good signing with Marmoush. City are finally achieving their dream XI team to try fight their way back into the title race. Hopefully their new signings will blend in immediately and help strengthen the team going forward cause it will not look good that they don’t qualify for champions league football next season.
new transfer Omar Marmoush, I think Pep Guardiola was a transfer he cared about. We know they wanted him for a long time. He was having a great season with Frankfurt this year in particular. All the attention was on him and sometimes he was turning the game around on his own. I am sure he will be a player who will adapt to the difficult and tiring marathon of the Premier League. I believe he can challenge the defenses of many teams because he is a young and fast player. I believe he can be even more successful under Guardiola.

I don't know what Chelsea plans for Felix. But I have an assumption that if Chelsea keeps Felix but only as a reserve player, it seems that Chelsea is only worried if one day there is a player position that is injured and Felix is considered a second-tier player who is ready to be used at any time.
And if one day Chelsea does not sell the player but only uses the loan option, I am sure this is all because Chelsea wants to see Felix's performance and if he has good talent, Chelsea will keep him.
Like the case of Lukaku. If Lukaku had good talent in Serie A and after that in the EPL he also had good performance, Chelsea would definitely keep the player. Unfortunately Lukaku could not perform optimally in the EPL and only performed extraordinarily in Serie A.

I don't even understand why they don't give Felix a proper chance in the starting lineup.  Sad  What is so special about Jackson? I don't like him at all. He is too inconsistent. People shouldn't be misled by his scoring 9 goals in the league. He isn't making score contribution regularly. Joao Felix can be used as a main CF as well. I think he can contribute more consistently than Jackson if he is given enough amount of chances. But I'm saying this in vain...

Felix played as CAM instead of striker. He's competing with Palmer for that spot. You might think he's playing as a striker caused by he did it when Pochettino was there, but it was not his main position. It's wrong when we once again forces him to play not in his actual position.

That's impossible when you're comparing him to the Jackson.

Rayan Aït-Nouri wouldn't be a bad signing at all in my opinion. He is 23 years old and I see a good potential in him if he plays at bigger teams. Malacia is about to leave and Luke Shaw is injured. The Red Devils are in immediate need of making a LB signing honestly.

I'm not following them closely but this seems to be the case. He's always been on the bench for the last three games or so, even though some fans demand Maresca to rotate and start him. We don't know what happened behind the scenes but I doubt Maresca benched him for personal reasons. There's a high chance he doesn't fit his system when he trained, so he doesn't think Felix is a good choice. He needs to take every chance to make an impact if he wants to be the first choice IMO.

It is sad to see Joao Felix turning into an unwanted player in time. Chelsea paid around 50 million euros to Atletico Madrid but now they don't also give him proper amount of time to play. Nobody wants to sign him on permanent deal now too.

Another Lukaku incident?  Huh  Chelsea really needs to revise their transfer policies. Just because they are rich they shouldn't splurge on players to whom they won't even give much chance in the lineup. Otherwise one day they might also have financial problems like Barcelona has had.

This is a bit surprising news for me with a contract that is almost a decade long like that. I was not surprised when Haaland and Manchester City would extend the contract for a long time, but I did not expect it to reach 9 years like that, because I thought 3 or 5 years might be the contract that would happen. Haaland is a good player, it would be too much to say he doesn't have special qualities, but the contract offered by Manchester City is quite risky for them. Because it requires a very long consistency which is not easy.

A good player that have just one ability that don't know any other way to contribute to the team and whenever that ability isn't in play then he is useless on the pitch, I know he knows how to score but let's tell ourselves the truth about this guy, he needs to improve, getting to see just one thing every week is just tiring I must say. And to Manchester City giving him this long contract it simply means they want him to stay and you're correct about being consistent. We know he is injury prone and he can't be trusted on that part. Another thing, all these crazy long term contract like that of Palmer and some other players just shows that football isn't what it is any more, is becoming all about money without the pleasure or passion.
We have to look at a player from a very wide angle. In the past, there were many players who even if judged in terms of ability were below average other players, but in terms of scoring goals they were very good and that ultimately made them very feared by opponents. One of those players was Inzaghi, in his time he was a player who lacked speed, but he had weapons that other players didn't have. Maybe at first glance if we only look at things like that, Inzaghi might not be seen. However, his ability to find positions and create goals is very good, so that is a good value.0

I don't think it's too much, it depends on the player choice. Erling Haaland has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Manchester City till 2034. This huge contract extension has raised questions about Manchester City pursuit of another striker Omar Marsmoush. Some fans are questioning why the club is reportedly pursuing Egyptian star Omar Marsmoush after Haaland's long contact extension instead of focusing on bringing in a replacement for Rodri and also addressing the impeding departure of Kyle Walker. While Haaland’s extension secures their attacking future, while Manchester City's defense and midfield still remains a concern. Manchester City should be focused on strengthen their defense and midfield respectively to ensure Manchester City remains dominant domestically and in Europe too.
Honestly,  Manchester city securing the future of Erling halaand for nine years is actually the best deal they have done in recent times because we all know how beasty Erling halaand is in front of goal, and he still has a lot of year ahead of him, which makes it a very good deal for Manchester city, because by doing so, they has automatically kills any interest of real madrid or any other top club that has him in mind, thinking they can snatch him from Manchester city in the future when his contract expires or about to expire, but with this long contract, it's actually over for any club  that has such thought in mind because nine years contract gives Manchester city too much leverage over the player.
And even if Erling halaand want to move out of the club, it would be very difficult to do that because it would be extremely difficult to see a team willing to price him out of such long contract, but in my own opinion, I believe that it's a good deal for both parties because Manchester city is a top team that will always challenge for top honours in the English premier league and the uefa champions league, so their would be no need for him to consider his future, in the future because the club that are better than Manchester city are very few, so it's a win win situation for both parties.

It's so painful to see that a once-promising talent like Joäo Felix is now considered surplus at Chelsea. Well I  will suggest that the club should consider loaning him for him to get regular playing time to be able to develop his potential. Joäo Felix possesses immense potentials and with consistent game time and proper guidance there is a good chance of him to becoming a top tier player.

DAFUQ!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Haaland is signing a new contract with City for almost 1 decade (9,5 years). What the hell is wrong with PL these days?  Shocked Shocked

This is really absurd, and i can't believe his previous clause is also being removed as well.

He's signing a new contract till 34 years old, damn!!!! i can't believe it. This month becomes the legendary month in the football. I never saw someone who sign a new contract for almost one decade. Holy fucking hell!!!!
Erling Haaland's 9.5 years contract extension with Manchester City have actually been confirmed by the club so it's no longer rumours or any form of speculations. When you consider the kind of impact the Norwegian have had on the club since he arrived at the club from Borussia Dortmund three years ago, you'll definitely come to terms with the fact that he actually deserves a contract extension but what I didn't see coming was the number of years.
The contract doesn't have a release clause which literally means that Manchester City wants him to remain at the club till 2030. English Premier League defenders wouldn't be happy with the news but they do not have any other option than to accept that he's here to stay

This is a crazy offer from Manchester City if you ask me like what were they thinking when they extended the contract of Haaland for 9.5 years? Haaland is a great player no doubt but I think the reason behind the long term contact extension I just to keep him away from trying to have a rethink about leaving the team anytime soon. Haaland has impacted on the March City team no doubt but currently I don't think EPL defenders are scared of him anymore because he's currently not in his best form and his team has been struggling this season too. I'm happy for him but I hope Manchester City doesn't regret their actions because 9.5 years is very long in my opinion regardless of what he has done for the club.

This has to be the longest contract sign ever. This also my first time to see someone who have almost 10 years contract with 500k weekly salary. This crazy as hell.

I think that other players will also want their salary to be increased. I know Haaland is special, but others may want it as well.

No more rumors about him to be linked with spanish club. This enough to keep him until he retires on City.  Cheesy

He is monster, bringing Manchester City to beat many big team and win various important titles for them, with new long-term contract like this also makes Haaland have clause that could be more difficult to fulfill for several other teams who are interested in bringing him in.
Now Manchester City is safe with Haaland, they don't need to worry and all the fans are very happy to hear the news, we can see Haaland becoming a loyal player even in the future he becomes legend who is the player with the longest contract with Manchester City.
Haha the next step is to make the Manchester City squad consistent and stable again, Pep must be able to start with new tactics and strategies that can improve the quality of the players play.
