Antony was revealed to the world by the Brazilian club called São Paulo and unfortunately did not perform well at Manchester United, who paid a high price for him in August 2022 with a contract until 2027. Antony arrival at Manchester United gave the club fans too much hopes of getting a winger that'll help tear their opposing defenses apart but shockingly to them, he failed to live up to expectations. That said, I think the loan move to Real Betis might help him rediscover his abilities again and probably return to United at the end of the season to wow all of us that are now doubting his abilities

I mean a contract like this reminds me of Palmer - Chelsea. He also signed for a similar time period. Now Haaland does it for Manchester City and honestly I was expecting him to think about his options in a couple of years the most. Honestly it is scary to me learning about players committing themselves to such long term contracts.
