Manchester City are about to lose the league race this season. Messi is the best active soccer player in the world in my opinion. But Manchester City are in a chaotic situation and not even Messi can fix them in my opinion. Manchester City need more than Messi. I think they need radical changes. Liverpool did it this season. They parted ways with Jurgen Klopp and gave Arne Slot the job. Liverpool are playing better football this season compared to last season. Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are the best managers in the world but change is always necessary.
There is no hope for Manchester City to retain the EPL title as long as Liverpool can maintain their best performance until the end of the season. They also recently lost at Aston Villa, dropping points in the last few games has seen Man City drop out of the top four.
The January transfer window is a good opportunity for Man City to fix weaknesses in their squad, Messi presence can provide new hope, but Guardiola also needs to bring in other players especially in the defense position which is still very fragile. There is no further information regarding the change of coach, they still believe in Guardiola ability, but he needs time to change everything.

People in Bangladesh are excited about this. This is now official from Hamza and the Bangladesh Football Federation.
Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury's switch of international allegiance to Bangladesh has been approved by Fifa. That was the news title from BBC, and I was like, what? I have heard a couple of times that Hamza may consider playing for Bangladesh. But I thought since Bangladesh is at 185 in the FIFA ranking, he may not want to play on this team. But we proved many of us wrong. The guy wants to represent his country even though he was born in Loughborough. As he said, he can't wait to play for Bangladesh.

FYI, Bangladesh Captain Jamal Bhuyan was born in Denmark and played for F.C. Copenhagen, but later, he decided to play for Bangladesh.

I looked at the tweet and they quoted Tuttosport as their source. Based on my quick search and reading, I don't think this source is reliable at all. Some fans or transfer reliability websites listed them as a tier 4 source with track records of unreliable rumors, especially with clubs they don't have any contact with. Now, I know we also need to take this list with a grain of salt, but we can check Tutto's record easily to know whether we should take their reports seriously or not.

Since he left Sevilla in the summer, Spain and Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos is still without a club but reports emerged yesterday suggesting that Ramos declined an offer from Argentine club Boca Junior. I know that not many European clubs will want to sign Ramos at his current age but I think a move to Saudi Arabia won't be a bad one of the former Spain international.

he was unemployed since July 2024 after Sevilla didn't extend his contract.
When I look on TransferMark, he has a value of about 1.8 Million Euro, and of course decreased drastically when he was on Real Madrid.
He is 38 years old now, and was certainly a very old player for that position. some clubs may be very cautious about recruiting him, because beside his age factor, he is enough temperament that makes it vulnerable to get card and certainly affects to performance club.
So going to Arabia is also good for him, he will meet his old friend Ronaldo if any interesting club able for his service.

that is probably what is stoping clubs from getting him because he's not just an average player you expect to get get and keep on the bench or push around. Just like how Ronaldo is, any club be plays for knows that his influence will tell on the team and once they are not ready and able to handle that, it becomes an issue for them. The thing is that he has to figure a way of getting back on the pitch and starts playing again, there's no two ways about it. If he doesn't play, he will continue to loose form amd its going to be an unwilling retirement from home. Soudi Arabia is at the moment not a bad option for any players since three are a lot of his mates that were doing well at thier prime or have gone to the soudi league at thier retirement phase. If he's still fit and able to play, he should just consider the option because anything that makes him stay up to two straight years at home without active football will be a likely end to his football journey.

In order to overcome the problems in his squad, Guardiola tried to take an alternative route. It is reported that he is considering bringing in Messi on a 6-month loan to fix the problems in Man City's midfield. David Beckham as the owner of Inter Miami is open to loaning the Barcelona legend, but Guardiola will have to work hard to get Messi to help solve the problems that are happening in his squad.

Hmmm, that's sounds really good!!!
Messi is one of the most iconic players in European competition. Pep Guardiola has big fan of Messi because he monitors all his abilities, whether it's in his team or against him. Pep Guardiola has monitored Messi's ability well, whether he was in his own team or against Pep, in both cases, he saw Messi's ability. Messi's dribbling, passing, goal scoring, set piece taking etc are all unparalleled. Manchester City is in serious trouble right now. Bringing Messi can fill the passing weakness for Pep, but Pep Guardiola's team does not lack the only assistant buddy despite the defensive weakness also founded. So Manchester City cannot restore their bad form by bringing up Messi. Pep should think of bringing another player instead of emphasizing Messi. I mean more steps should be taken for defense forces.

It seems that Guardiola has run out ideas. What is he trying to do, bring in Messi in loan from Inter Miami to solve their midfield problems? Lol. I don't think it's the right approach guardiola suppose to think about. Bringing in Messi at his age shouldn't be an option to him, Pep should be looking for a young talented player who still have the strength to be able to play good football.

Bringing in Messi could be a very strategic step for Manchester City in strengthening their attacking line, because messi have extraordinary experience and abilities, which can have a positive impact on City midfield, his presence can certainly also increase team morale which is in bad shape at the moment, however, there are several things that need to be considered by manchester city before recruit him, such as age, his adaptation in the premier league which is rely more physical  than MLS, but apart from that, if Messi can adapt quickly, of course his presence in guardiola squad will be an effective short-term solution to overcome the problems they are currently facing.
I think it won't be a good idea to bring Messi to Man City. He is already 37 years old, his performance is no longer as well as in the past. And his fitness is already declining a lot. Messi isn't suitable for EPL competition, EPL needs a player with strong physical and good fitness. However, I agree that Messi may improve the mentality of the players. But he is unlikely to improve the strength of Man City midfield or attacking line.

Why Man City doesn't try to sign a player like Florian Wirtz or Jamal Musiala? These players are in their best ages, they are also in their best performance. Since they are still young, they also can be the assets of Man City because they will have a more expensive price in the future.

Signing Lookman might be an option to improve Manchester United's attacking line, but will he fit the style of play of Manchester United and the English league?

I think Lookman will be a big upgrade to Manchester United. He's a very good player that has all the qualities of a good winger. He's one of the kind of player Manchester United need. I believe he will fit in to their system because he's a team player and he's hardworking. I like Lookman and I will not advice him to go to Manchester United because the atmosphere there is too toxic.

I think he should he should go to Arsenal. Arsenal is a better team for Lookman. He is an upgrade to bothe Martinelli and Trossard. If one of them can be sold for Lookman then it would be a good signing for the gunners. In a good team, Lookman has the potential to be a top man. If Arsenal can get Lookman together with Saka then they'll have a good attack if they get a striker.
The signing of Lookman is a good idea but to be honest, Manchester United needs to bring up Rafael Leao instead of him because Rafael Leao has more ability to do work in wing position. His dribble style is so good especially in a wide range. Thus far Rafael Leao also have good ability to find out a goals for a team. I mean, his finishing skill is so good. So if we look at these specs between Lookman and Rafael Leao and compare them with each other, So we can clearly see it that Rafael Leao has more potential to be signed for Red Devil. Ruben Ruben Amorim also mostly uses wingers in his tactics. The majority of his chance build up is done by the winger. So, my idea is to leave Lookman and bring in Rafael Leao to replace Marcus Rashford. because Rafeal Leao is a natural winger and Manchester United needs a precious winger.
I don't think Rafael Leão will be a better signing than Ademola Lookman. Lookman is a talented player whose versatality makes him a more suitable fit for Ruben Amorim's system at Manchester United. Lookman's ability to play across the front three will certainly add flexibility to the squad which is crucial in adapting to Ruben Amorim tactical formation and plan. His defensive work rate and willingness to press are also better suited to Amorim's style of play. Additionally Lookman’s experience in the Premier League gives him an edge as he is already familiar with the league physicality and pace. Ademola Lookman also has a relatively lower market value compared to Rafael Leão and this would allow Manchester united to strengthen other areas of the squad while still securing a high quality attacking option.

The rumor is that for now it looks like Pep is starting to look for loopholes to bring Messi to Manchester City but for me this is a risky action that even seems ridiculous for Pep to do.

Although we know that Messi is still considered one of the Goats for now but with his age now and has never felt the EPL's interest before it is clear that this is a gamble to do if in the end they want to improve performance.
For the value in terms of sponsorship maybe this can still be considered but when talking about trying to improve performance by bringing Messi this is a risky action especially with his current age. Unless in the end there is special treatment just like Messi always feels in the MLS today maybe it can still be considered lol Roll Eyes.

If it is realized, Manchester City seems to have an easy time rising in the second half of the season. Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Messi, and vice versa, Messi is very happy to work with Pep Guardiola. Financially, Manchester City will not mind paying a high salary for Messi, and it will be in accordance with the contribution given. Indeed, his age is no longer young, but for an alternative choice in the short term, Messi is the right choice. It would be nice to see Messi playing in the Premier League, he would be the main spotlight every week.
I think it will be the last reunion with pep guardiola if messi officially joins manchester city. With the news that is developing now of course if pep guardiola makes contact with messi I think both of them will unite in one team in the second half of this season. In addition pep guardiola must find a way to be able to revive the team because currently they are slumped to 6th position after leading the standings at the beginning of the season but their performance has declined lately.

If messi joins the premier league of course it will be more exciting every match that will be played by manchester city in the second half of the season. Because we know messi fans are quite a lot of course it will be a great momentum if pep succeeds in bringing messi.
So far manchester city has suffered 6 defeats in the premier league, they are increasingly not confident to be able to compete strongly with liverpool.

The changes made by each coach are different so we do not equate Amorim and Erik Ten Hag in the overhaul of players in their first season because Manchester United do need better changes to improve their performance and any coach needs support to recruit players who match the capacity that he believes is capable, if Gernacho is sold to another club to be able to recruit a better winger I agree because I see Gernacho has a mediocre performance and is not very productive.
But in this case everything also depends on the coach's policy, when the coach cannot or will not include the player in the future plan even if it is a star player in the end it will only be an auction and things like this have often happened for almost all clubs even for Manchester United also felt the same way where when ETH was in the squad he even released several players like Cristiano or Sancho even though the momentum still felt quite good for this player but when it does not fit into the future plan then selling is the best option according to him.

So for now Amorim will definitely do the same thing even though for now some of their star players like Rashford or some other players when they will not be included in future plans rather than being forced by leading to drama then surely Amorim will try to put the player on the sales list at the end.

It seems that we have quite a lot in common regarding the discussion about Manchester United, but it is actually very unfortunate for me if in fact Amorim really releases some of his players, especially Marcus Rashford. I actually like Rashford more than Garnaco, but he seems to have problems with discipline and often seems selfish. Actually, sometimes Bruno Fernandes is no less selfish in my opinion, but it seems that Amorim will not release this player compared to the other two names I mentioned. Maybe in the winter Amorim will recruit one or two players that he needs, especially if Amorim gets an injection of funds from releasing one of his players. Well, for now there is no choice for Amorim to only focus on the available players. And you are right, because there are indeed some players who are not ideal with Amorim's style and system. So, there will be some players who will be released either in the winter or the summer.

Bruno Fernandes has the ability to hold the ball and his delivery I think is better. Rashford is not bad in this regard, but he does seem to have problems. You can see Bruno Fernandes always gets a chance from Amorim in the squad. Of course, there are positive things he has compared to other players in the same position. It's just that sometimes Amorim pushes him a little forward and also pulls him deeper a few times.
One of the United players who I think is worth considering to get out of Amorim's team is Antony. His performance is quite bad I think.
Amorim wouldn't risk selling Bruno Fernandes next summer in a bid to trim and sell non performing players, Bruno Fernandes is a play marker as well as a creative midfielder the creativity in brings into Man Utd midfield is massive thus Amorim would retain him unlike players like Rashford, Eriksen, Antony etc, Meanwhile Amorim 3-5-2 formation requires playing the tactics with players who can fit into his system and it obvious Amorim is testing his players to select and retain those players that would stay and those ones to be sold, I hope and believe Man Utd board would give Amorim more time needed to turn around and transform Man Utd into a formidable squad.

This is good news if Messi can really be brought in from MLS, I think he can help improve Man City's performance. Pep already knows the characteristics of the player very well so in implementing the strategy later Messi will not need much time to adapt besides his performance in MLS this year is extraordinary from 22 matches he has scored 21 goals and 11 assists. The Premier League will be even more interesting.

Rumour. If Guardiola will remain in Manchester City, I think this rumour might turn true, otherwise I doubt Messi will join them without his boss in the charge of the team.
The age of Messi is the only thing that might make a team less interested in signing him, but his qualities and performance are still respectable and can improve the team in many ways. He is a true leader.
Just a joke, Manchester City back in 2008, gave Barcelona a silly offer to recruit "messy". City administration mistakenly thought that messy meant Messi Grin

Apart from working hard to get the player to fix Manchester City within the possible loan period, it still also will have a lot to do with how much the Manchester City management is Ready to put down an offer that can make them beat all the other club's eyeing Messi on loan in this period, but then if man City can go through with this deal, it will increase the club chances of recovering within the shortest period, but for this season I can say that is possibly too late now for Manchester City to get things to 100% fixing since the season have gone too far, but still after the break we expect clubs to resume back with different new squad and high level of motivations.

Lionel Messi is regarded as the greatest footballer that's ever graced the beautiful round leather game by many and that's because of his personal achievements which includes winning the FIFA World and being awarded the Balon D'or award on eight different occasions but at the moment, the Argentine lacks the strength to compete in a very competitive league like the English Premier League. If Pep Guardiola goes on to sign to Manchester City in January, I don't think his arrival will effect any significant improvement in the performance of Manchester City. Messi isn't productive as he used to be and I don't think signing him now will make any difference.

It seems that Arne Slot is not satisfied with the strength of the current squad, Liverpool is reportedly ready to submit a £50 million offer to Atalanta to recruit Charles De Ketelaere in the upcoming summer transfer market. His impressive performances with Atalanta have attracted interest from top European clubs, Liverpool keen to take the lead in the hunt for the young Belgian. If a deal is reached, De Ketelaere is expected to strengthen Liverpool attack next season.

Source: Football Express

It is a good thing that Liverpool are presently interested in Charles de Ketelaere, he’s a young and promising talent who will be relatively cheaper and more productive than buying an expensive well known player that will come and flop in the club. I think Charles de Ketelaere will fit into Arne Slot tactical approach because of his versatility.
