If i had $ 3,000 the first thing i think of investing in Bitcoin is the best now. When Bitcoin prices are low. Buying Bitcoin and keeping a few months will have good results.
With 3000 $ meals for security, of course, buying coins or tokens that have good potential in the future, and some of the coins I recommend are: bitcoin (30%), ethereum (40%) and the rest are EOS, NEO and Litecoin.
i will like to do my dollar divide into 3 parts, then i like to invest on tron, electroneum and neo so this is good investment for now because now these coins price is very cheap so these coins price will grow high upcoming days.

$3000 is a lot so I think it is not going to be bad if you're gonna go all in for Ethereum. But if you want more huge investments for the future, you can check out waves, stratis, and xrp. And there are a lot of great coins that are available in the Top 50. It is not obvious because of the market's situation.
I would certainly distribute the Deposit but the priority I would put Bitcoin and Ethereum. Probably picked up ICO would be a good investment !
I think that I could do the same thing. I would put money in EOS if that Currency did not pump yet.

I would buy some tokens from a good ICO with it like CryptoCurve ICO , These days ICOs seem to be working!
ICOs are one of my favorite things , some of them get 2x from ICO price easily , yes there are many scam ICOs but you can still find some good ones if you look carefully!

May be Fantom isn't bad option for investment now, it is a fresh token which was listed this week on exchanges, it is being traded now near ICO price in ETH, capitalization in USD near 15kk right now, that is little for a blockchain.
always try to deversify put 1000$ in bitcoin 1000$ in ether and eos and the remaining 1000$ diversified among all other altcoin not financial advice good luck with your investment 
I would divide my deposit into few parts and invest these parts in at least 10 altcoins. Than I would wait for at least 30 percent profit and switch to the next coin. This is a great strategy and I think 30 percent profit on this market is a great result. I am hodling (NEO, XLM, XYO, NEO, ETH, IOTA, BTC and some other alts)

If I were you, I would invest $ 1500 in Bitcoin and Ethereum, the rest of the funds I would prefer to invest in another area not related to cryptocurrency. If you already have investments in other areas, then you can invest the remaining $ 1500 in several large ICO projects.
