Why you chosen august for investment any good news about bull run? 3000$ is big investment i recommend you go to with Ripple (XRP) and try to possible others potential coin which are best growing in future. Market still lower position so don't miss to invest. Ethereum is also best very low price now but it will be big pump coming days.

Investing in just two coins is a dangerous thing, you need to minimize your risks. Having 3000 dollars, I would rather invest in 20 coins, choose them from the top 30-40.
My choice is bitcoin and ethereum for 3000$ in this moment before bullrun start.

$ 3000 is a lot. If I have that much money, I will not invest generously for crypto, but only 50%, and 50% I will use it to open a business. So, if the assets in crypto are down, the growth of money remains with the business.

For me it is very big money and I would not spend all of it on cryptocurrencies. It's too much money and too risky. Try to distribute the amount and collect a portfolio of cryptocurrencies, it will be a great way
As of now the Bitcoin Price is still on its dip, from my preference; its better to invest bigger amount of money on them, then the remaining money preferably goes to ETH, RIPPLE and STELLAR, the coins that I have mentioned is my considered Big 4, they have potential and build as long term project.
If I have 3000 $, I would prefer to invest the money in promising altcoins like BTC, ETH, EOZ, NEO and COV, in my opinion some of the altcoins I mentioned earlier are very potential and there is a possibility that the altcoint can be profitable.
i would prefer to invest in some major altcoins. ethereum + neo + wanchain probably. 1k usd for each. i wouldnt buy bitcoin now because if bitcoin starts to raise, altcoins will possibly raise more than bitcoin.
