I think I will invest in bitcoin first depending on what is happening in the market. The bitcoin will be like my base currency as I move in and out to get the best entry position on quality altcoin for future profit.

I advise you to invest in ETH, because now that you have $ 3000 you can buy 13ETH while at the end of December 2017 you can only buy 2.5ETH with $ 3000 you have, so if you buy ETH now and HOLD you will get very big profit when ETH prices increase as at the end of December 2017.
I would recommend you to wait for another panic sell and then get some cheap and promising coins from top-10 of coinmarket such as Etherium,Ripple and Litecoin, I hope there will be Etherium price again around 150 $ , Ripple at 0.20 $ and litecoin at 40 $.

For me $ 3000 is a pretty big number. You have to use that money wisely and buy some bitcoin, buy some ethereum too. And some other altcoins that you have researched and believe will do good in the long run, remember not to put all that money into one place and one investment, so you not by ending up losing all that
I would be in your place to invest this money in a more reliable and stable coin such as litecoin or Ehthereum and in long-term investments. I think this will be the most appropriate solution in this situation.

My suggestion is you invest in ethereum for ethereum had the capabilities to multiply your money. And you can assure the safetiness of your money for it is already proven and tested. my option is wait for august end and invest on ziliqa
$3,000 USD i will Invest 20% on bitcoin and the rest i will find a best ICO'S project that are promising and have a good platforms that could give my moneyback up to x3. The reason i give 20% on bitcoin is for long term investment that could give me profit if bitcoin start the bullish run of it.
With that measure of cash, honestly, I should share the assets into particular parts, and the spit the on various coins. Stop cash to make great speculations everywhere. Seeing that I as of now have some great interests in BTC, I will go on and spread that cash on some great altcoins. Possibly Monero, Neo, and BNB.
For me, I would like to invest the Bitcoin or ETH in this time, all they now in the dip price, in Bitcoin the price average is 6000USD in this year, ETH never below the 200USD, those all is the promising project and earn your profit when the market grows again.
I think that you understand that most of this amount needs to be invested in altcoins because today there are so many chances that altcoins will be pumped up, since we already understand that the trend will unfold.
It will be better to invest 50% of it on bitcoin, 25% on Ethereum and 25% on Ripple. Once you are invested, there is not much to do but to wait for the next bull run. You can just do anything you want and wait for the coin value to appreciate. Being patient is the hardest thing to do on investing. Make sure you made up your mind before doing it.
My option now is to invest in Etherium or NEO. In my opinion this is the easiest money, now the price of these coins is very low and the growth for the new year will bring you good profit.
If I had such money for investments I would buy a half of bitcoin. It is the best investment which can be bought on this money. It is excellent

I guess I can have that luxury because I feel my portfolio is already pretty balanced out.
The reason I would put so much in Polymath is because it is the only project out there that can seriously bring securities into the crypto market.
This is opens the doors to institutional money pouring in.
On top of that, I really like their transparancy and they have been consistent with updates and developments.
As a business, I see them as professoinal and able to thrive int he long run.

For $3,000, I have a couple of choices to make from. I think that if I have that much money to invest, I will put it into a coin that I completely trust, and believe to have potential, and get me some good profits. From where I'm sitting right now, I would make a choice with BTC, or XRp.
