How to profitably exchange currency?

Several tools on our website help you choose the most lucrative exchange rate.

💸Having chosen the exchange direction, you can go to the “Calculator” tab and instantly calculate how much you will get when exchanging a certain amount, including or excluding commission.
💸If there are no exchangers for the required exchange direction, use the function “Double exchange”. You can also calculate the payment systems commission and evaluate its profitability.
💸The “Statistics” tab will help make a decision. Here you can view the exchange rate change graph, the popularity of the exchange direction graph and its reserves graph.
💸 On the tab “Notifications”, you can set notifications to be sent to email or Telegram when an offer for conversion on conditions convenient for you appears.

👌 Rate information for all services is updated every 3-5 seconds, that is why it is most accurate. You will only need to conduct your own analysis to get the best results.

In March, we added new payment directions for tracking to our monitoring.
● Foreign currency exchange: Nigerian naira
You still decided to add the Nigerian naira to monitoring, although you yourself say that the last time you had the NGN Bank/BTC exchange rate was on 28 January 2023.
isn't the problem that the Nigerian bank has suspended all international transactions.

Partially because of this, we have specifically added cash, perhaps we should have been more specific in the announcement. Thank you for your remark. The very currency was in the monitor long ago, and now we have added an opportunity for exchangers to inform the monitor about exchange offices in cities where cash Naira is exchanged. Although there are still none in the monitor, we are actively searching for such exchangers.

What criteria do you use to list new payment directions? Is it on request by exchangers or users? or you just hand pick them based on volumes?

I dare to suggest that this is primarily due to demand from users. I think that BestChange, like any kind of business, monitors the state of the market and is interested in meeting the demand of as many users as possible. This is reasonable and logical. There is no point in opening new directions if there are few people willing to use this direction of exchange.

Exactly. We regularly check two factors: user demand and offer from exchangers. When we notice a new perspective direction, we add it to the monitor.
At the same time, we try to inform exchangers about the user interest if they are not yet having the trading pair so that we have an opportunity to not add empty directions to the monitor.

Now that Bitcoin transaction fees haven't been as low as they used be a couple of months back, I think there will be a rise in the use of Bitcoin Lightning network over time, Have you thought about adding LN (Bitcoin Lightning network) payment directions as well?

I believe there are a number of exchangers that support LN.

The interest in this mechanism is undulating, but we agree that the very technology can sometimes be prospective. For a long time already, we have had a separate direction Bitcoin Lightning Network for user convenience. If you don’t see this direction, open the full list of available currencies using the big grey button in the form of an arrow at the end of the list, the direction you are looking for is in the line Bitcoin LN.

Although, as we have mentioned earlier, the interest is rather of cyclic nature, that is why currently for this direction only one exchanger is available, earlier there were much more of them. Perhaps, in the future, this will change, that is why we do not hurry to remove the direction from the list, and even seriously consider launching our own LN-node for the convenience of working with all listed services.

● Tether EURt stablecoin on the Bitcoin (Omni) and Ethereum (ERC-20) blockchains, Tether USDT and USD Coin stablecoins on the Polygon blockchain, and TrueUSD stablecoins on the TRON (TRC-20) blockchain.

Quick question;

What criteria do you use to list new payment directions? Is it on request by exchangers or users? or you just hand pick them based on volumes?

Therefore, I consider such news to be a good indicator that this service is developing and set to continue its activities.

How can you learn more about working with BestChange?

Using the monitor is intuitive — we have tried to make this process as easy as possible so it wouldn’t be difficult even for a first-time visitor. However, there are nuances which are not obvious at first sight, but that can be very helpful in work. Here are several ways to increase the efficiency of choosing an exchanger through BestChange:

✅ Subscription to the project’s social networks. We publish useful, interesting, and helpful information on a regular basis.

✅ The section “FAQ” on the website. If you come across difficulties, please study this section, it will help to quickly solve the problem.

✅ The section “Getting started”. It includes detailed manuals for most of the tasks.

✅Educational video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jck4GeBB3-c ) where the process of choosing an exchanger is clearly shown.

If you still have questions, please contact our support which will always help. You can get in touch with us via email [email protected] or in the section “Contacts”.

On exchanger anonymity

The majority of exchangers on BestChange, as well as our website, work confidentially, taking care of the safety of your assets.

✅ We do not have registration on our website. Visiting BestChange, you will see the rates you need and find a suitable option from the list.
✅ No verification. BestChange doesn’t store assets or provide an option for making a transaction. Regular KYC/AML check requirements do not apply to us, but exchangers included in the listing must go through these procedures for security reasons.
✅ We mark exchangers that require verification on their website. If a client needs to leave some personal data, you will see special marks on BestChange next to the site of the exchanger.
✅ We do not keep your personal data and do not transfer it to anyone: emails which you specify when you contact the support or analysis of user behavior when solving CAPTCHA.

What is the exchanger rating in the payment system?

On BestChange, after clicking the number of reviews in the table after selecting a payment direction, you can see such indices for each exchanger as Advanced Cash TS, WebMoney BL, and Perfect Money TS. Some payment systems assign their users levels which show how much you can trust the agent.

✅ For example, y Advanced Cash has Advanced Cash Transaction Score, WebMoney has Business Level, and Perfect Money has Trust Score. If, instead of the rating, there is a dash, it means the exchanger does not work with this payment system and does not have a rating in it. If you plan to work with one of these payment systems via an exchanger, pay attention to the mentioned characteristics.

Also, on the exchanger page, you can see the parameter “MyWOT rating”, which shows whether the website is worthy of trust. Web Of Trust evaluates site security based on user opinions.

it's a really good thing that you occasionally give explanations about your business model and the different aspects that your platform offers. I honestly had no idea that there were so many small details that you paid attention to.

I may have already asked this, but I would like to see how the whole process goes when you accept a new service in your monitoring. I see that it often happens that exchangers put you as a reference, although they are not on your list. so then we get various excuses for it. For example

As to your second question, we applied to bestchange.ru to be listed on there platform and one of the requirements is their logo must to be on the main page of the website.

Also, do you have some kind of update log that is publicly visible somewhere, where we can see which new services are in the process of being added to the monitoring or even possibly suspended/removed?

Thank you for your question. Indeed, there is an item in the requirements for integration in our service which presupposes having a banner on the exchanger website before it is listed in the monitor. But, in any case, the presence of absence of such a banner means nothing. Any person can add this image to their website, including fraudsters. It is the presence on our website that you need to check, and not vice versa.

As for the public log of applications, we have thought about this function but haven’t found serious grounds for its implementation. The thing is, seeing an application as such can confuse the user’s expectations, although it guarantees almost nothing. Only after a multifaceted long-term check is it that we add exchangers to the final list, and until the checks are finished, the risks of being deceived are not decreased. Yes, being in this transitional list could mean the absence of evident fraudsters, but before the exchanger is added to the listing, the presence of the website in the application list wouldn’t prove anything besides this fact.

I remember making a similar suggestion last year, but this was their response

If an exchanger was sometimes added to our monitor, even after its exclusion, its page will be available with a special mark “disabled”, for example:

Code:
https://www.bestchange.com/btcstaff-exchanger.html

Very rarely, in some exclusive cases, we can fully destroy the page of an exchanger in the listing (only our internal notes will remain), and the visit will lead to the main page of the monitor. But your case does not fit for this exclusion, we haven’t ever created a page for the specified exchanger, that is why you don’t see a record about it.
Regarding a separate list for the excluded exchangers or the websites awaiting the listing, we will think how we can implement it, and if it won’t damage our reputation or SEO. We will try to implement it, but can’t promise it.

So they may or may not implement it.

How to find the exchanger you used last time?

BestChange keeps the history of every person’s visits to exchangers — given they didn’t change the browser and didn’t clear cookies. That’s why you can easily find the exchanger you like that you used recently, but have forgotten its name.

Simply click the link “History” and you will see the table with the following data:

📝 Date when you visited the exchanger.

📝 Name of the exchanger (click on it if you want to visit its site once again).

📝 Direction and exchanger rate at that moment. If the field is empty, then you must have visited the website from the list of exchangers, without choosing an exchange direction.

📝 Reserves the exchanger had at the moment.

You don’t have to keep in mind all the information about all exchanges you made — using BestChange before each operation will not only make it more profitable and safe but will help find the best exchanger options. Because there are lots of them (over 200 on our website) and remembering the name and particularities of each one is almost impossible.

In the exchange menu, select the relevant exchange direction with cash.
Next, you need to choose a desired city, open the “Notifications” tab, and set the way to receive notifications: by email or Telegram.

☝ We have added an option to specify the city for operations with cash in the “Double exchange” section for better accuracy of results.

Multiple leaks happened to biggest centralized exchanges, and third parties that work with them or with hardware wallets, so we know for a fact this happened before.
If Binance and others that probably have most money and best security practices, than I am sure it can happen to small exchanges with shady or unclear privacy polices and practices.
For some people it would also be a problem that foreign government agencies can get a hold of their customer information and use that against them.

The thing is, that comparison of small local services in our listing with large international exchanges is not very correct. Data leaks you are talking about are oftentimes connected specifically with large international projects. At the same time, we can state that there have been no noticeable hacks of small local exchange services in recent years.

We do not claim that the security systems of small services are better than those of large international projects, this would be untrue. But it is obvious that they have different principles of work and methods of conducting verifications, exchangers simply may not store the received data after verification, and there are much fewer reasons to hack a small local site instead of an international project.

Although we agree that such risks still exist and cannot be ignored. We reiterate that we will try to influence the administration of the resources from our listing so that they become even more concerned about the security of the stored information or do not store extended data at all unnecessarily.

It would be short-sighted to keep such information longer than the period necessary for verification and also to store it in storage with constant access to the network. We do not monitor the internal policies of exchangers, however, we are also not aware of any high-profile leaks.

how reliable is this verification method?
in the case of credit card verification, complete KYC is mandatory, right? Otherwise, a stolen card can be verified very easily.

This is one of the methods, most widely used, but not a single one.

It is used due to the business specifics and is mainly aimed at avoiding a widespread fraud scheme, the so-called “triangle”, when the victim is fraudulently asked to transfer funds to the details of the exchanger and receive cryptocurrency for this from an unsuspecting exchanger, framing it before law enforcement agencies when this fraud is revealed.

allowing editing due to blurring of the expiring date opens up the possibility of manipulation for someone with skills in photoshop, for example.

As a rule, the integrity of the image is checked, and interference with any parts other than valid numbers will be revealed during the check. But often, operators are asked to close the numbers physically (with a finger, a sheet of paper) in order to analyze also the complete lack of editing in the meta-data of the image.

They don't have to abuse this personal information, but that can also happen because you can't guarantee it won't, however there is high probability that sometime in future this data can be hacked.
We don't know who exactly is storing this data. We don't know who exactly is using this data and if they are sharing it with other third parties. We don't know anything.

Thank you for your comment, perhaps we should issue recommendations for the administration of these resources so that they take your comments into account when storing and processing critical data.

Hiding expiry date and CVC is not a bad idea, but I bet many people are not doing it or they are not doing it correctly.

Unfortunately, we cannot predict this or somehow influence financial literacy, except for such posts.

This data can be transferred confidently, and they will not give potential scammers any benefit even if something happens to the exchanger.
However, you need to blur the expiry date and the CVC code on the card if it is written on the same side. You don’t have to provide the back side of the card.
