Dear FortuneJack, please fire the idiot responsible for poker.  Person who decided that it's wise to give away 15 btc each month to people who have no money to deposit (freeroll players), and set a minimum number of players to 20 for weekends 1 btc guaranteed tournaments. 1 Btc tournament never started (nevermind the fact that this idiot decided to send emails promoting them in two consecutive weeks), actually nothing started except those freerolls, and people who are actually ready to DEPOSIT and play poker are getting tired when they see all tournaments canceled. Just move half of those 15 btc you give away each month, for 1 btc weekend tournaments to actually start. Maybe it will get you some traffic.
Above that, if you really want to run those freerolls make them satelittes to the other games (weekend 1 btc or daily 300 mbtc), maybe they will run that way...

Dear user,
We are working hard to make the poker game for you as enjoyable experience as possible. Your submitted ideas help us to make sure that you are getting the best out of the poker. During the working process on the newly launched game we came across some blemishes that required from us a brisk reaction to have it hastily solved.  We appreciate your valuable opinion, and will definitely take that into account and promise to come up with rather more appealing tournaments and prices for you to participate and win. Please share your poker experience with us and make it dynamic so that we do not miss any valuable input from you.

I have personally never heard of anyone complaining about freerolls.. This is just weird.

You must of missed the reaction of anyone with a brain when betcoin ran freerolls with money that players either lost to cheaters or was accidentally stolen by betcoin.

This is different though.  It's fortunejacks money, they can do what they want with it.  Having a 20 mbtc freeroll every hour 24/7 is a good way to attract a certain group of players.  I'm sure swc and betcoin will be happy to know they don't have any new competition.

I want to see competition among the sites.  (to be the best, not to see who can give less of a fuck)

Congrats on hearing your first ever complaint about a freeroll.

For those wondering what is going on, we have a full out smear campaign against a site. You can spot it easily when it looks like nit picking and then they offer a alternative site to play.
Pretty lame when the whole scene needs a shot.

lol

I was referring to places that actually have been in the game for 10+ years.. pokerstars & 888 poker for example.. ever heard of them? Ever check out the freerolls they host every single day? A lot more than the few btc's that's FJ is spending..

Btw.. you will find a complaint for everything in existence on the internet.. so not really worth the congratulations.

I'd wager the value of a daily freeroll on stars is worth less than 1/10th the value of a 20 mbtc freeroll on FJ.

FJ runs 24 a day, Stars maybe 4 or 5 and you have to finish better than top 1% for the prize of entry into another freeroll...

So, you're saying FJ has a good freeroll marketing strategy (they dont)
and you think Stars has an impressive freeroll schedule daily (they dont)

Im not sure about 888 ROW, but I assume they dont either.

Why? Because giving away money to players who dont have any money is stupid.

lol @ you,
Yeah we know you are super pro poker player familiar with stars and 888 and that's cool.
But that doesn't change a shit, they simply host freerolls as an addition to all other games which are running on regular basis.
FJ's problem is that 1btc and 0.3 btc games are canceled while those riddic 20 mbtc freerolls are running each hour, do you get it? or still need some more explanation?

I agree instead of poker freerolls you could better add 10% affiliate for dice gamers like it use to be. and poker affiliate its useless

pretty much agree with this. but if FJ will not remove the free for all freeroll, maybe they can put some exclusive freeroll like nitrogen do. play x amount of cash game hands and be qualified to a freeroll. at least it will start some cash game traffic, those who won from free for all freerolls will have something to play for.

I have personally never heard of anyone complaining about freerolls.. This is just weird.

Some people are aiming for the GTD tournaments as well and not just the freerolls. The problem with freerolls is that some person could be playing with multiple account and the tendency to go all in since there is nothing to risk, it has no fun at all rather than GTD which most people will play seriously as it involves your own money

Worst marketing idea ever to have a lot of freerolls?

Nobody said that. (I dont think)

They aren't saying get rid of freerolls either.
Fortunejack have faucet??
Yes go wash your hands.

(jk, i dont know about faucets, but i hear the freerolls are easy $)

Yeah somebody did say that.. go read up a few messages.

Implying the freerolls could be the worst marketing strategy ever is also implying that it could be the best decision to discontinue that strategy in order to elevate the experience which this user is clearly not fond of at the moment.

Poker rooms don't get raped by hosting freerolls. It's usually a statement that they are new, they are here to stay and they have the bankroll to actually host the freerolls in the first place which is a good sign.

Unless FJ is trying to attract players who have no money or just refuse to deposit it, FJs freeroll marketing strategy is horrible.

If it was a good strategy, there would be games running other than freerolls.

Not all marketing strategies involving freerolls are horrible.  This one certainly is though.

yeah sure xD giveaway 0.020 btc each hour to people who are so poor that they will play for that 0.020 in 100+ players game, and cancel all the 1btc and 0.3 btc guaranteed games so people with money will never deposit because higher games will never run. Really good target group, freeloaders, sure they deserve that 15btc per month o.O I wonder where does this money goes as there are no cash games running.

Exactly the right thing to do, there is no point in keep holding freerolls and wasting 15 btc each months for the freerolls. The person responsible for this idea needs to change this or else this is the worst marketing idea ever. With 15 btc you could get more players rather than keep holding this stupid freerolls, all I see from the freerolls is just several people using multiple account to play in the freerolls

Supporting this idea as well, their freerolls does not give any significant effects to the ring game tables. I would prefer to see more active ring game tables, and give rewards to active players on ring game with a ticket for a big freeroll every week/month.
