Offtopic, but relevant to zpool payouts.
I used miningpoolhub in the past, and switched to zpool recently.
So I am getting these 0.01BTC transactions to my blockchain.info wallet daily.
The other day I bought something worth 400€ and lo and behold blockhain says I have to pay 10€ in transactions  fees (!!!!) due to "many small unconsolidated transactions that need to be consolidated for this payment".
I guess its due to those small zpool payments that are trickling in daily.
Anybody here had similar experience? How to prevent such high payment fees?
Use poloniex BTC adress for zpool payments and then pay from there?
Thanks.

Had that issue also. So what I did was set up another wallet to do transactions from. So I mine to one wallet and transfer from it to the other once I hit .2 btc and that seems to work to eliminate the small transactions. Takes a while for the transfer, but since I am doing to myself and not for a transaction time is not so critical.

Thanks.
So mine to dreaded Poloniex  and when satoshis pile-up transfer with minimal fee to blockchain.info?

As far as I'm aware Poloniex only charges 10000 satoshi for transfers. Haven't transferred out of there in a while but I just checked and it seems to be holding this low fee.

Regarding current best profitability, for my setup Skein is still number one and has been for the past 2 weeks, Lyra2rev follows $2/day shy. LBRY on Nicehash shows ~$8.5/day for my one 1080ti @ 500mh. I must be missing something...

how do you connect 7 x VGA cables to EVGA-1300-G2 ?
I think that PSU has only 6 x VGA pcie connector... no?

8pin pcie to dual 6+2 pin pcie splitter cable. In general it should not be a problem, just don't run stuff like 2x overclocked 1080s on a splitter cable.

interesting..... can you show a pix?

8pin pcie to dual 6+2 pin pcie splitter cable. (Or just use an extender cable on one of the existing splitter pcie cables) In general it should not be a problem, just don't run stuff like 2x overclocked 1080s on a splitter cable.

Well today i went ahead and ordered parts for the upcoming build.. planning on going the 4U route.. after doing lots of research i have decided that i like the idea of placing the GPU's off the Mobo and space them out some. The only reason i ordered a case to build the future rig into over going open is i am kinda limited on power right now at my condo it seems. i cant get more than 4 x 1080ti's to last on any of my condo circuits.. i have tried every circuit in the house and as soon as all 4 start mining i trip a breaker.. sometimes it takes a few hours, others its immediate.. the electrician i had come out told me i only have 15amp breakers for all my circuits and because so much is shared on each circuit im pushing it when trying to add daily living with mining.. so this future rig is going to be housed at my parents house in the spare room. They agreed i could place a "few" rigs at their house as long as they are neat and out of the way and not cluttering a lot space.. so the best idea i could come up with was placing it inside of a computer case, but after shopping mobo's it just cringed me to think about stacking 4 x 1080tis right on top of each other enclosed in a case, i can see how they would function in a open case design.. but i need this to be neat and out of the way..

So today i bought a few things i seen on sale that caught my attention..
PSU: EVGA 1200 watt  for $259-5%(-$13)=$246.... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KYK1CKI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Case: 4U L4500 for $98.99-5%($4.50)=$94.99....https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0091IZ1ZG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Risers: Typical Risers $49.95-5%($2.50)=$47.45....https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BMT7CC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

I have not bought mobo or cpu yet because i am really hoping the new risers i ordered will work with my old gaming pc i retired last year. It has an intel i5 3570k on it with a decent gaming motherboard with 1 x M.2, 2 x16, 1 x8, and 4 x1's. I bought risers previously off amazong and i couldnt any of them to boot with my GTX 1080tis sitting on my desk. So i bought some that many mentioned they are using in hopes they work listed above.. I am probably going to start with only 4 x GTX1080ti's in this system if i can get it to boot with the new risers.. otherwise ill be searching for another motherboard to use the i5 cpu with.. I have an old 5 year old 850watt in that rig, but many people think its the PSU causing them to not detect.. so i bought the EVGA above.. I wanted to go the server route, but PM who sells the kits is out of stock on them right now.. so i didnt feel like waiting more than 30 days for that.. plus the evga was on sale...

In regards to OS, idk what to do about that.. i am looking into miner OS's, but i am finding they are all AMD only it seems.. really like the look of EthOS, but the support page list only AMD cards..
This is what caught my attention.. this guy built his rigs using the same case i ordered with the HD section in the front removed.. he claims 69c temps running 7gpu's per case....

I wonder if there are "ti" versions of 1070, 1060.... I have seen 1050ti going below 150$

an array of 1050tis could be a nice Nicehash multi algo rig.

past few days my 5 x 1080ti rigs are busy mining on LBRY at very high returns, higher than ZEC and Skein -- anyone noticed that?

since these 1050tis are short version and good for reducing heat, and also 75w tdp.... I am going to get a couple before things gets crazy.

https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Support-Graphics-04G-P4-6253-KR/dp/B01MF7EQJZ/ref=pd_cp_147_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01MF7EQJZ&pd_rd_r=19PKC6JFXWHTQ2W6SDEY&pd_rd_w=48Gaa&pd_rd_wg=cuvkJ&psc=1&refRID=19PKC6JFXWHTQ2W6SDEY

Been wondering about that as on NH it has consistently been showing 6+ btc/th. What miner are you using for lbry?

I use the NH Windows miner where it mines the best profitability.

1.82 GHs gives me 0.011 BTC (if not mistaken NH Windows miner uses a special ccminer fork to mine LBRY)

I just let it loose... my 2 Aorus and Zotac 1080ti x 5 rigs are currently on NH Windows miner before they mine exclusively ZEC on nvOC Linux.

The thing about these NVIDIA algos/coins -- there seems to be very active development on ccminer forks compared to AMD's world.

The new NH Windows miner alpha v2, now sports their new excavator multiminer and dropped sgminer.

claymore, ccminer and ewbf are also in the new v2 package.

I dont think sgminer has a good future....  I know that devs like zawawa, wolf etc have had some work done ie. sgminer-gm but now working on their own projects.

Wolf ... if you are reading this, pls comment.

@citronick  Does nvidia do better than amd for lbry? Was trying to get a 5x 480 rig on smos mining straight lbry but not having any luck getting claymore to mine only lbry.

Hmm...from what see skein (1080ti @ 1000mh) 24h profitability is about $1 over lbry (@503mh - ccminerAlexis78 seems to be better on this algo as well, by about 30mh compared to the regular ccminer).
Thanks for the tip. Will be keeping an eye on it.
May I ask if you're using different software?

Blake2s algo seems to be close in profitability as well.

So far zpool for, skein is all I use.

I am short time as  I built 3 mining gaming 2 card rigs tested and will drive them to the buyers.

Coins are so hot now all my friends that game want a 2 card 1080ti rig.

I can build a good one for them and they earn back money when they are not playing.

So top of the line rigs became a lot more affordable for them .

So great, I've been telling friends to just build a "gaming" rig since all of them wouldn't even know where a ram stick went so don't even know what BTC is let alone an AltCoin - but I'm showing them my profits and telling them just build a gaming machine to get their feet wet. They see the amount I've put in in just the last 2 weeks I've spent a few dozen BTC so they know I'm not BSing them. I just want to see everyone learning more about altcoins and crypto in general. So fascinating to me, and I'm not a tech person I'm a certified financial planner lol.

more power  at zpool doing skein   12 kwatts a day  so at 20 cents 2.50 x 30 = 75 buck more power.

so  lower the 1.50 btc for zpool by 0.030 btc extra power or 1.47 btc  vs .99 btc with the power adjustment.

that is 2,740 x 1.47 = 4027 usd  vs 2,712 usd.

Now I have no other facts  but for now I am mining with zpool over nicehash.

How come you are using more power on skein vs zcash on nicehash?
Is not skein less power-hungry?
Also, for ultimate profit, why not use miningpoolhub since its fees are lower?

Do you use mining hub? i tried it earlier today for an hour on my 2nd PC with the current single GTX 1080ti, i only managed $0.41 worth of DGB in that time for a daily rate around $10... i couldnt get the BTC auto exchange to work.. it would default to DGB... i still want to test Yiimp, but that pool has been up and down so much lately its hard to catch it online to test it..

It could be my settings

75% tdp
200 core
-500 ram
75% fan

Are better for Zec watts. You would think they should be same watts since tdp is the same
