Dogecoin, what do you guys think, good investment?

I have not looked at it in a while no opinion.

What was your opinion on it prior?

Also side note do you mind checking out my mining cave build thread for input on a proper intake and exhaust fan, got some estimates today based off everyone's ideas more specifically yours

years ago I like it  not much any more.  Just too many to pick from.

I will check your thread.

@VoskCoin, I think there's just been some pump\dump activity on DOGE lately, possibly related to this https://themerkle.com/whats-going-on-with-dogetipbot/
I have close to 20 coins in my portfolio, I don't mess with DOGE as an INVESTMENT.

@Phil, I like the wood too.  Take a few minutes and paint some racing stripes on 'em.  Wink

hello girls and boys,
is there a way to make afterburner show power limit in watts?
thanks.

Not that I know if...but you can just take the cards TDP and then Afterburner is in % and it will be pretty close.
So a 250W card like a 1080ti will be at 125W at 50% in Power Efficiency in Afterburner

When you set tdp to 50 or 55 stability is shaky the core and memory may need to be .

Tweaked for stability .

The three fan Aorus is core over clocked and at 55%. Needs to be 125 to 175 vs 230.

Most every other card does 55% and core 230.

Your settings improved my watt to sols to around 3.9 - 4.1

Vs 3.75 or so.

Overall I dropped from 8.7 amps to 8.4 amps at 240 volts. This is a drop of 72 watts

If you want to go all out for efficiency I was getting ~4.3 or more sol/W with power set all the way down at 50%, core +250, mem -300 and fans whatever you need to keep cards around 70 degrees.

There seems to be a bit of a magic spot for each brand though Cheesy

Hello guys, I would like to share how it's going with my setup since you been really great for me as indicator to what to do or not.

By now I've got 3 nvidia GTX 1080 TI and a nvidia GTX 970.

And here's a screenshot how my ZCash miner it's going.

After much testing I've got this results and since here power bills are kinda expensive I don't go full power, but instead I went looking for a good Sols/W rate.

Does anyone know why always the last GPU does have better Sol/W rate? I've done a lot of testing and it's always happening to me. I don't know the reason but always the last card on the rig does consume like 10% less power doing the same hashrate. Check if it's happening to you also.
Of course all NVIDIA GTX 1080 TI are sharing the same settings.

If you got some tips to improve Sol/W, or lower power consumption from other components please share them Smiley

I will check, what miner are you using? I don't know how to get that efficiency table with ewbf-zec

What settings are you using on your 1080ti? Looks like you have TDP down quite a bit but still getting good sol/s

damn  give us your setting on the   1080 ti  those are good.

--pec  at  the end of your .bat file

shows power on ewbf

There is.

For me overclocking memory clock didn't make any difference at all, so I keep it at 0.

If you're gonna make changes and use them CLOSE YOUR MINER FIRST. Otherwise it would hang up your pc and you would need to reboot.

Fan speed can be left at 50% without much change on temp, atleast for me. Remind that less power means less heat.

This settings haven't been used for a long time, they have been working for me only three days since I finally found them, but as far I can say are stable. I been doing so much testing since as I said here power bills are kinda expensive so I rather try to find the best performance than going full power.

No modifications on ROM we're made.
Also left the resolution screen at 800x600 (at minium) in case it would make any minimal difference...

Hope it helps for you.

hello girls and boys,
i have three questions
is there a way to make afterburner show power limit in watts?
also, how to make sure that W10 creators update does not install drivers automagically?
does System-advanced system settings-hardware-device installation settings DEFINITELY work?
and how does un-activated W10 behave, apart from "not activated" warning in lower right corner? is it still usable for mining purposes?
thanks.

I wish we could get and answer for that it would mean a lot if there's something on our hand to do and apply to other cards.

To answer your question why that card is better is because you won what we call a silicon lottery
You got lucky and got a card that can perform better than the rest
