There is no point in asking any of that because none of it verifies who was the ORIGINAL owner of the account. In situations like this, it is quite common for someone that gets their email hacked and it is used to access their freebitco.in account. The original owner sees what's going on and is able to lock the hacker out of both. Then the hacker will have gained all the knowledge above and use that to try and phish the account from me.

I have had inactive customers that were unaware their account had been more than 2 years ago and someone else had been using it to collect their referral commissions and play. They were able to get their account back by proving they owned addresses they deposited from 6 years ago. I am not going to rely on anything you suggest above because it proves absolutely about nothing who is the original owner.

tn00739338 said that their email account had been banned. What if tn00739338 hacked that email and used it to access the freebitco.in account? Then Hotmail locked that email because it was hacked. All of your suggestions are telling me to just believe the last person to access that account. I'm not putting myself in the situation where I'm making a judgment call, like you are, about whether I believe them or not. I'm insisting on real proof of original ownership.

No, it is a policy that protects 100% of accounts from phishing. The number of customers that have recovered accounts using a signed message and have expressed gratitude to me so having such a robust policy to ensure their account wasn't at risk greatly exceeds the number that complain because they can't.

I'll prioritse keeping my high rollers' happy by ensuring their accounts are secure over dimwits who don't even use 2fa or a Bitcoin wallet every time.

Fortunately, people with large balances like that understand the basics of Bitcoin and use their own wallets to store their coins and only use exchanges to exchange currencies.

Here is my proposition to @tn00739338 for this problem :
  • If you are the real owner of this account then
    • Until now there is no successful login on your account
    • You probably know the approximate balance
    • You also know all your previous addresses used for deposit.
  • Load a Bitcoin wallet where you have control on your private keys (like Electrum)
  • If you are 100% sure that this is your account then you can send approximately the same amount as your balance to one of the previous addresses where you deposited before
  • You wait like 15-30 days and if there is still no successful login to your account you sign a message using your Wallet and the address from where you sent btc and send this message to @TheQuin

If someone else didn't use this account that you claim and @TheQuin accept this method I think you are going to recover your account and funds with earned interests (after the 15-30 days). Let's hope that it helps.

I forget to say one thing, if someone does not know English, then he can question you again and again. As long as the translator can tell the meaning well.
