You must be one of the people who has been in the world of cryptocurrency for quite a long time, because at that time freebitcoin was better known as a faucet and I remember being able to earn hundreds of satoshis per hour so that every week I would receive Bitcoin because of automatic withdrawals.
Unfortunately at that time not many people, including me, predicted that the price of Bitcoin would be like it is today, which if we are patient enough to save it will now provide very high value for our assets.
Freebitcoin also has a sister site which is also known as a faucet where we can get the oldest memecoin that still exists today, but unfortunately the faucet has closed and the management is returning each member's balance.
Faucet abuse has become a massive thing, that's why many faucets have died because they don't get the appropriate return to maintain their website, but amazingly, freebitcoin is still surviving well until now.
Yeah I remember those days, in fact I remember making thousands per hour, with every faucet that I used, the combined was tens of thousands per hour. I had a bookmark folder with about 20 of them, and I was making tens of satoshis per hour, daily hundreds of thousands of satoshis as well. I did manage to withdraw from most of them, like half of them at least. The other half turned out to be a scam, or basically failed to have a proper business and closed shop.

All in all, I would say that freebitco.in has been around for a quite long time, it was a website that barely got any visitors back in the day when it first started and I was here when that happened. In the end, they did manage the website well enough that it is one of the most visited websites in the world now.

Maybe it would be a case of you providing some proof, something like posting the lock ID, a photo of your account showing the withdrawal with the date, this will help clean up the casino's image a little if more people are doing this for a while to show that the casino is operating normally. although in my opinion the FreeBitco.in business model will sooner or later collapse if it is not innovated as some people have said, we just need to see that most people are using casinos with the same standards as most casinos, I'm talking about using a casino which has games like plinko, bonanza, gates of olympus and sports betting, while FreeBitco.in still has a lottery, faucete and the way to bet on bitcoin predictions and other things doesn't seem very attractive to me, so I don't buy it a great future for FreeBitco.in as long as there are no changes and innovations, but congratulations on being able to withdraw if it is true
Yeah, that dude will need to provide some really tangible proof showing that indeed, he requested a withdrawal from freebitco, the withdrawal got approved and processed, and he received the funds on his private wallet or whatever wallet that was choosed as the destination wallet, else; nobody is going to believe him.

And again, commenting on the above move helping to restore freebitco's reputation and gain trust again, I personally do not think that such move (user's confirming withdrawals from the casino and posting proofs) will go any long way in restoring this casino's lost reputation and trust, at least, someone like myself won't turn back to trusting this casino by such move, since I understand that even screenshot proofs can be doctored/forged by really talented graphic designers.

The one move I think will help restore the reputation and trust of freebitco is that someone from the management, TheQuin, Wetsuit or any other well known board member of freebitco comes out to tell us what really went wrong, and how they are working hard to resolve every issue and return the casino to its former glory.
This alone is what I do think will restore this casino again..

The prices in the teens for BTC was max reward on the wheel spins.  Im not expecting that outcome for this year or next or possibly ever again.     They shouldnt scrap the faucet just innovate on it, there is some dilemma because its linked to BTC price and really BTC is gigantically bullish beyond imagination in its trend across all time frames.

'80% of all US dollars in existence were printed in the last 22 months'  We live in interesting times, BTC is part of that and its hard to account for such a large change in the world.

The golden tickets bonus for using the faucet regularly in a set time period works for me but its also about what works for people and the site.  Also right this moment theres a bonus RP on the faucet, that adds upto to more then the amount added by BTC moving downwards.

Buffalo run is a term I borrowed from a market commentator and they took it from the native american tribes who would cause a herd run that resulted in a cliff fall and a cull of sorts.  Quite savage but thats life on the plains, the relevance to markets is wild gains, fast moves in BTC or any asset can lead to extremely harsh selling also.

Silver was not too long ago both 14 and 48 US dollars in a two year period, it sold off all the way to teens again.  BTC resembles commodity market volatility imo so when its wildly changing it should be a good bet.   Right now and for months its been marooned in a range almost and recently its once again failed in its breakout attempts.

Big industry buyers use programmes to calmly accumulate BTC without scaring the herd as it were, its deliberate I think they are acquiring BTC.   It should be a positive for BTC long term, so long as we can move into higher prices and continue to add volume.

Just a thought but before that today the RP to Spins picture above, changed from 15 RP to 16 RP as BTC price faulted downwards from its prior trend.   So thats raising the spin base figure, we arent going to get 50 back as a spin outcome I doubt but it could double I figure if we get a buffalo run (alot of scared cattle Tongue).

As I remember, last year some users didn't spend WoF spins but accumulated them in anticipation of something. I wonder if there are still those who continue to accumulate WoF spins because now it's obvious that the BTC price won't fall so much, and the base prizes in the Wheel of Fortune will probably never return to 50 sat/rp/tickets.
I agree with you, it will never return to those levels. To be honest I don't even remember when it was at those prices. But it can decrease and it will certainly do it in the coming months. The hype of the spot ETF approvals and the halving are behind us and there is no scheduled big events for this year as far as I know. I haven't chosen a target price for BTC or a number of average RPs given by WOF spins up to now. But I'm very likely to wait for numbers above 35RPs except if there is a big dump though. I'm waiting for 20+ RPs, so my target will certainly be between 20 and 35 RP in the end.

Nothing lasts forever
Hell, they should either kill the faucet altogether and leave everything else intact, or they should significantly increase the minimum withdrawal amount to something like 1 mBTC. Can't have transaction fees eating away the reserves at each withdrawal.

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I've always known that bots were exploiting the faucet, and if a sophisticated faucet exploit across hundreds of accounts followed by a normal withdrawal is what caused the massive drain in reserves, then Freebitcoin needs to up their security before I can trust them with money again.

It's a shame because I used to advertise for this casino back in the day.
If they kill the faucet, then their domain freebitco will lose meaning. I think they should close their website and stick with one of their casinos, with Club Riches or Dplay and do a 301 redirect. Another option to my mind will be to set wagering requirement on coins that were claimed by Faucet. Increased Bitcoin reward with 10x wagering requirement or something similar will help their business to get rid of bots and it will also help them to give away fewer free bitcoins. This way, the faucet business will be profitable or at least will not harm them.

Increasing wagering requirement is a good idea. Another thing that they can do is increase the complexity of solving captcha before claiming the free roll.
They should add captcha for ever roll and remove the feature of no captcha above certain balance.
Using sophisticated captcha from google or any other service will eliminate the bots for good.

Don't you think they just went too far with competitions like winning the Lambo? The tap earnings are very small and I'm sure most multi-account players have been caught out by the system. In my opinion, this site has become too luxurious and it's just a regular faucet and casino.

It's just how they attract players, especially big players who wager a lot... I don't see why we would call it luxurious, that's how business is done. And when the business is big and strong, really big prizes can be offered that will attract even more players.

Freebitcoin has always been a regular faucet and "not typical" casino with some betting markets and one game. Simple and effective we can say, but it attracts people to spend their money and time on their site. I guess so many competitions have something to do with that.

Lambo probably worked out fine as a prize for publicity and its just a case of balancing the sums to justify which I presume it does as they keep running it.  Cant see why that particular point would be in for criticism when every site needs people and anything that draws attention is justified in that way then.
- I am saving mine until the beginning of next Autumn.

I doubt it will take that long to get to 61k which is feasibly where the price declines and once there appreciates right back to 70k or so yet again.    Not sure I imagine any of these summer months doing that much in sum total so I roughly agree with the idea but I dont think I want to save it that long unless I knew for sure which I dont.  Got too many now.

Withdrawals should go through a strict procedure to ensure their legitimacy before being approved.

Maybe to have users' accounts organized by ratings or flags could help, just like those accounts which don't have a captcha completion required in order to claim the reward from the faucet.

These accounts could be white flagged, meaning the withdrawal process could happen faster, without many security protocols, while new accounts from users who only make use of the faucet should be yellow flagged or something like that, going through stricter processes in order to withdraw their money from the platform.

People who deposit considerable amounts of money on the platform for investment or gambling purposes are less likely to cheat, because they know they can lose their deposits if they do so. Other users have "nothing to lose", though.

TheQuin is currently focusing on fraud prevention across our multiple properties

We've been there.
It's impossible to stop fraudulent traffic when you don't change the way the site operates.

We were criticized when we changed the hourly roll to a daily roll but that's what saved our faucets.

If you want to overcome this fraudulent activity (and don't end up like freedoge.co.in had to shut down) you need to start changing your business model. First of all paying 3 sats at minimum roll is a pure suicide and doing it on a hourly basis is a disaster waiting to happen.

Change your business model first, then worry about how to stop the remaining fraudulent activity. The change itself will deter fraudsters from draining your Bitcoin reserves.

It is because a website has many parts that can be attacked by many people. The dependencies you use might have bad code in them, the parts you coded yourself might have stupid logic… If they can’t find anything to attack, they will do DDOS and let’s hope then you are on cloudflare.
That is the thing about a good website, getting attacked by its competition (openly in this case), if there is nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about. Freebitco.in had some backlog issue and the moment that started to happen other competitors started to talk about it and literally "come play with us instead" without any shame at all, they just want more customers and money, and they are doing what they are doing however they want.

This is why I think we should consider how to move forward with what we have, and that is why we are getting so many people attacking. Do you have any idea why they started just as thequin became silent? Because they knew that if thequin was here, he would respond them back and show their true colours.

EDIT: Now it works. Thank you very much for solving FREEBITCO.IN

Hello,

I found your contact here on the forum. I'm having trouble logging into my Freebitcoin account. About a month ago when I tried to log in I got a message that the login information was incorrect and until now the problem is still there. I'm sure I entered them correctly. I tried to reset the password, but the email didn't arrive until the next day, so it was already invalid. Now when I try it, the email doesn't even come.

Unfortunately, I haven't found another contact and I'm already desperate. The bitcoins I have in this account are a wedding gift from my brother and I am unhappy about it. You will be very kind and advise me what to do or where the problem is. Have a nice day, Nikola.

I still don't understand why so many people are saying something like this? People like you, @BitcoinGirl.Club, people that I trust.

Maybe a competitor trying to ruin the reputation of a competing service?

I've been very active on the site years ago but now I barely free roll once a week maybe, life priorities took over unfortunately.
Never had an issue years ago, neither I noticed any issue lately in the spare usage. Interests are added to the balance, never noticed strangeness happenning on the balance.
However I only deposited from other faucets, never withdrawn so far, so I still have to confirm on my skin if the site is legit in that aspect... but I read of others who've done successfully so I'm confident :v

I had this same thought. There are a few copycat sites trying to look like FBC. This is absolutely speculation but its not impossible. I ran a poker web site about 15 years ago. I had more than one hacker mess with it. They would leave messages telling me i was nothing and i would be taken down. Many of the messages seemed very angry at the little success i had. I honestly had no idea why anyone would be so angry about it.

It is because people are assholes and some of them are actually children, teens or manchild. Even in this forum they exist and they sometimes come up with made up stories to ruin someone’s reputation. It is easy to deal with them in the forum as long as you did no wrongdoing but it is a whole different situation when own a website.

It is because a website has many parts that can be attacked by many people. The dependencies you use might have bad code in them, the parts you coded yourself might have stupid logic… If they can’t find anything to attack, they will do DDOS and let’s hope then you are on cloudflare.

This website freebitco.in is a one-man operation as far as we know and one man can’t do everything perfectly. Something somewhere will break eventually and it did. People lost money because of that.
