Dear BTC Talk Community,

We have conducted a thorough review and found no issues on the website. It is possible that specific users may have encountered problems due to viruses or plugins they installed, which are beyond our control.

TheQuin is currently focusing on fraud prevention across our multiple properties and is no longer active on the forum. Customer support will now be handled by a professional team.

Best regards,
The FreeBitco.in Team

Hello,

I found your contact here on the forum. I'm having trouble logging into my Freebitcoin account. About a month ago when I tried to log in I got a message that the login information was incorrect and until now the problem is still there. I'm sure I entered them correctly. I tried to reset the password, but the email didn't arrive until the next day, so it was already invalid. Now when I try it, the email doesn't even come. My login email is [email protected]

Unfortunately, I haven't found another contact and I'm already desperate. The bitcoins I have in this account are a wedding gift from my brother and I am unhappy about it. You will be very kind and advise me what to do or where the problem is. Have a nice day, Nikola.

Are we likely to get a bet setup for the French or the British elections going on.   They poll every adult in those countries so surely thats a big potential audience of bettors, big revenue worth putting the bet on the site I'd guess.

The USA election should be there as that alters the Dollar prospects which in turn is going to alter the Bitcoin price which makes it relevant to all of us here on the outcome.

Just a thought but before that today the RP to Spins picture above, changed from 15 RP to 16 RP as BTC price faulted downwards from its prior trend.   So thats raising the spin base figure, we arent going to get 50 back as a spin outcome I doubt but it could double I figure if we get a buffalo run (alot of scared cattle Tongue).

I have absolutely nothing against competition, it is very well alright that competition could happen and it is good because it improves everyone involved. If you have no competition then you get all the business without working for it or improving at all, which means you will be stuck, whereas if you have a competition then we are talking about a website that needs to improve to keep customers.

However, as I mentioned before months ago, I really dislike it when competition comes in and writes to their competitions topic and saying how this place is doing wrong and they are doing so well. That is unfair and to be fair annoying. If I had even a slight small tiny chance of testing out freebitcoin.io, I would stay away from it like it's the plague after they came in here and wrote here, that is as terrible of thing to do as it gets. Get-paid, try to stay in your on own topic.

I still don't understand why so many people are saying something like this? People like you, @BitcoinGirl.Club, people that I trust.

What's exactly wrong with the site?

My experiences over the past months: I can easily log in, I can easily exchange my reward points for WoF spins:

I can withdraw my money from the site without any problems. I did so a month ago and I even easily changed my withdrawal address.

The disappearance of TheQuin worries me. But, apart from that, what's wrong with the site?

Well, if you look at the flag there are 10 of us who don't see things clearly yet. Not all issues are resolved and the fact that you can operate normally does not mean that everybody is doing it but also, the numbers don't add up. See here and here.

I still don't understand why so many people are saying something like this? People like you, @BitcoinGirl.Club, people that I trust.

Maybe a competitor trying to ruin the reputation of a competing service?

I've been very active on the site years ago but now I barely free roll once a week maybe, life priorities took over unfortunately.
Never had an issue years ago, neither I noticed any issue lately in the spare usage. Interests are added to the balance, never noticed strangeness happenning on the balance.
However I only deposited from other faucets, never withdrawn so far, so I still have to confirm on my skin if the site is legit in that aspect... but I read of others who've done successfully so I'm confident :v

I had this same thought. There are a few copycat sites trying to look like FBC. This is absolutely speculation but its not impossible. I ran a poker web site about 15 years ago. I had more than one hacker mess with it. They would leave messages telling me i was nothing and i would be taken down. Many of the messages seemed very angry at the little success i had. I honestly had no idea why anyone would be so angry about it.

We have conducted a thorough review and found no issues on the website. It is possible that specific users may have encountered problems due to viruses or plugins they installed, which are beyond our control.
Isn't it too much coincidence that many high rollers who won the wagering contest (and only them) had their accounts legitimacy compromised by a malicious script which was deflecting their funds to external unknown wallets?

If the issue with malicious script were a generic issue faced by random users, then we could think that it had something to do with external plugins installed by the users themselves (probably plugins related to gambling bots).

But since only specific whales were targeted, it really seems to have been a more elaborated attack against determined platform's users, who the hackers knew to be more profitable to steal from, instead of focusing on random accounts from micro earners containing dust of satoshis, for an example.

I have 2 remarks:

1. The deposit and withdraw attacks were not just targeted against (recent) high rollers. I have not wagered on freebitco.in in months, and my account was still affected. Fortunately, I did not lose any bitcoin, because I did not try to deposit or withdraw when the attacks were taking place; but for a period of ~24 hours my deposit address switched to some unknown address. I have had the same deposit address for years and have not changed it recently, and so I knew immediately that something fishy was going on. After about a day, my deposit address changed back to my normal address.

2. This was absolutely not caused by "viruses or plugins they installed". I have 3 different devices that I use to log in to this site, and my deposit address was switched on every single device. Are you really going to argue that I had the exact same virus on all 3 devices?

I have ~100 messages on this forum, and in nearly all of them I have spoken positively about freebitco.in (they gave me a lambo!). I have to be critical here, though. Blaming users for these recent issues is not cool.

Some of you already know me. I was one of those robbed. 2 times. one depositing because an incorrect address appeared in the official page and another withdrawing because although everything was fine on the screen, all my funds were deposited to another account.

I am very happy if the Client Service becomes proffesional and really answer our issues. As many of you knows, i sent graphical evidences about the issue and the malicious scripts and even i offered my account to Freebitco.in for the investigation.

The issue was not caused by a virus. It was a 100% security issue in Freebitco.in (i prove that because i used different PCs, networks and devices) but  after causing the loss of all the funds of some users and having sent emails with evidence of the hack:

  • no one from Freebitco.in responded to any of my emails.
  • nobody from Freebitco.in have contacted me.
  • of course, we still don't know if they fixed the critical issue or hackers can attack again at any time
.

Nor has the user @TheQuin responded to the private message I sent him. For me, the answer from freebitco.in has been... horrible, shameless. They have laughed at us.

Now, I would appreciate someone from Freebitco.in to calm us.

In fact, i have returned to the page but i am afraid and review the page code every time i need to deposit or withdrawal because i don't know if we are still in danger and the hackers can come back whenever they like.

I think you missed the days when withdrawal is not working. Everything is fixed now with delay withdrawal if you just try the casino just now.

AFAIK, those players that considered as high roller are those players that is affected with the security issue since the hacker probably manage to sent them malware through email since their info is available on the leaderboard winner of freebitco.in contest. Normal players or casual player is not affected so far.

I don't know how long it is happening but I see their trust page of the forum has been ruined. The only action they can take is to fix everything and then come back. I am hopeful that it's not intentional but the technical problem causing all these to them. I feel like they are indeed in trouble and trying hard to fix it.

There have actually been issues with a lot of the users and the team even admitted it. Some with 2FA and email notification, some unable to login or process withdrawals, the issues were just much. Perhaps you were lucky not to be one of those affected. Good thing is that they tried their best to solve the issues on individual basis but their communication about the whole thing was poor and they left the customers to guess what might be the problem.

The disappearance of TheQuin worries me. But, apart from that, what's wrong with the site?
This is the part that scares me the most because he was very active on the forum before, attending to the issues of people. Assuming he left the team, it would have been good he made that known to the community that hold him in high esteem.

Maybe they are still worried about the situation happening on the casino since even by know there's still no representative showing up or at least TheQuin coming up here to clear up the doubts of people.

Yeah we see that there are some people posting that their withdrawals has been process but we cannot erase the fact that there's still an issue happening. But if there's a new representative will be active here or TheQuin comeback then maybe all the worries of people will be eliminated and people will get back to their activities then forget about the issues happened.

Also it seems there's a smear campaign spreading and maybe they try to attack freebitco.in that's why its important that there's someone from them come here to clarify the issue so that people will not get worried about the situation happening on their casino.

May be you have been really active and following discussions on this thread, I will get you up to date with what possible lead to the issue that freebitco is currently facing on this forum with their reputation.

Some time ago, some users, maybe good number of them actually; who requested withdrawal of their funds from their freebitco account, had their withdrawal request process to another bitcoin address, address different from the one they submitted, and all that this affected obviously lost their money.

Some other users, (I read one compliant on this particular matter actually) who tried depositing to their freebitco account never had the deposit credited, even when the deposit transaction had gained a lot of confirmation on the blockchain, and several days past, their deposit was not credited.

And to make matters worst in the midst of all this problem, there was no customer support to say what is really going on, and proffer a possible solution and resolution to the affected users, freebitco reps on this forum (TheQuin and others) were no where to be found, even when TheQuin came to the forum, he never replied to any of the complaints..

I guess now, you should know how this whole freebitco reputation issue started.

This doesn’t change anything here. People trust thequin than you since you just recently step up from marketing role to support after receiving negative feedback from DT. You are just ignoring all concerns few weeks ago if I remember correctly.

The one who should made this kind of announcement should be thequin itself since he is the one who front in the forum before. How hard to do posting an announcement same like what you type using his forum account?

People is asking one simple task while you are just making the transition of position so complicated.
You are absolutely right. TheQuin can't just disappear. I also don't understand why he can't visit this forum and at least leave a reply here. I can't imagine if he spends his whole life at work in Freebitco.
Previously, Thequin was active on this forum when there were lots of complaints and problems, but for some reason I was wondering what the reason was that made him not explain anything on this forum, even though the entire community already trusted him to handle problems and complaints about this site, but instead I took The conclusion must be that there is a problem that we don't know about so he never comes back and explains anything to the community and active users of this forum. I only saw him active again on May 23.

I still can't believe he left this forum and got a new assignment or something else, but it's important in dealing with all the problems and complaints in this thread, at least looking for a replacement team for him who is really more responsive and responsive in handling every case, I trust everyone will surely gradually forget about Thequin when there is a replacement for him who is more active in this thread. all freebitcoin users are definitely waiting for their representatives to be active on this forum.

Thank you. I will watch it later and reply onto your dedicated thread. But we shouldn't forget they are using a "decay" system too, with penalties for users who never play at any of their paying games. So before reducing basic rewards to anyone and becoming less attractive, they could maybe increase their penalties for the "bad customers". If you are not a very bad bettor, you can quite easily avoid decay penalties and even getting bonuses, without losing much money if any IMO. So there is no excuse to become a "bad customer" penalized.
Do you have this "decay" formula?

Thank you for the answer regarding TheQuin. A few more important questions if you don't mind, please. What's the plan with FreeBitco.in Signature Campaign? TheQuin isn't here and you are the PR, so you shoud know.

Customer support will now be handled by a professional team.
That's a good news. Will now users be able to contact customer support via chat from your website? Or will they create a dedicated account on this forum and answer questions occasionally? Or will you still keep email only support?

What's Freebitco's plan about negative trust rating? TheQuin should know how it can damage your business because negative trust means that people will hesitate to gamble on your website. I hope you plan to review and solve each case that has been posted here.

Of course.
Anything that will sustain the business and will help them (and us) make money is going to resolve the problems.
It could be this suggestion and more, the trouble is nothing was done so far, at least not from the front end.

Are you sure about that? AFAIK the main goal of their faucet is to attract people in order to make them play at their paying games (dice game, lotteries and sport betting) and eventually to buy some of their FUN tokens. But if their faucet offers very small rewards, they won't attract people who have interesting purchasing power. TBH, I don't think they will attract much people from developed countries with rewards lower than 3 sats per hour. It's only $0.002. I'm currently receiving 60sats per free rolls thanks to the bonus I earned and I don't do it every hour, because I don't think it worths it when I'm doing something else.

1000% sure.
