not sure why is anyone attacking Mbappe, he took award for best scorer, and it is a team sport, you can't get title alone, you need team players to shine as well, and Giroud was one that did his part, but others could do better for most matches

seems that Messi will not play until next year, and probably few matches to rest and enjoy WC title

The real reason is that dude is different from others, have we seen Di Maria do it? Messi? Acuna? Anyone? It's just him and him alone that goes overboard and that's the only reason, and I do not think that it would be fair to say it's anything regional or anything, it's just one person.

And to be honest that should be fine, most teams have one player that everyone hates, I think it is unavoidable, wish it was, because we really do not need players like that, no human like that, we should spread love and not hate or at least not triggering, "free speech" is not same as being rude, and being rude could get you disliked that is as much as expected and normal.
I still can't believe what we are talking about Martinez making fun of Mbappe with the doll. The photo can be misunderstood, but I'll never know for sure what led to the doll in Martinez's hands. I would regret it if Martinez actually did it, but to this day I haven't found a reason why Martinez did it. It's still speculation to me, but of course I don't like something like that though that's fine.

Mbappe shouldn't have to worry about this, I'm sure he's not affected by anything. After all this is done outside the game and anyone can hate anyone in the end. Mbappe scored 4 goals against Martinez in the final, including 3 penalties and 1 beautiful goal. Is Martinez any better? of course not.

It was utterly disgusting to see professional footballers display such behaviours. Personally, it was unprofessional. Mbappe is one of the most decorated footballer at his age. He has won more titles than most of the Argentine national team players. I think he is ridiculous to criticize a footballer that has player in  the finals of the past 2 world cup matches and he is also a world cup winner. I would say that he is the future of the game.
Yes, it is very unfortunate when footballers do excessive things to express their joy by making fun of other players. He should have known very well how the players he made fun of like that felt, because he was a player too. He overdid it and I don't see him showing any respect for his opponent. In fact, we know that all this time the players have prioritized respect for their opponents.

I don't think that it was just trash-talk what Argentina players did in the World Cup after eliminating Netherlands by penalties.

Their behavior was so not right there. This is just humiliating for Netherlands players. I also agree that it is meaningless to say that France might have done the same thing as well. We can't assume such thing while not having any proof that is showing a potential for such action. I don't remember France players doing a similar thing in the recent years. They have always just focused on their games and targets.

Can't believe people are still talking about this. Don't forget that Netherlands are the only team involved in all the top 3 most carded games in World Cup history. They have a history of riling teams up even before the match, and Messi's responses while unforgivable, were all coming AFTER Dutch efforts from media and coach himself to talk them down.

Let's get over this and instead see for ourselves how Mbappe and Messi play with Neymar again, it's all professional trust me.

Can we all stop talking about players and focus on teams? I still wonder about Monaco, for example, will they get a refresh?

Psywar in soccer is commonplace.  there are a lot of players and coaches do it, before the game starts and this is one of the scenarios to knock the opponent's mentality down. what happened in the Argentina vs Netherlands match, will be history. good for the team, the coach as well as the referee. this is football, it will never be separated from the dramas that adorn it. however, this scenario would never have happened if there had been no provocation from both parties, and I will not justify either of them.

As for the final match between Argentina vs France, the game is over as well as the world cup. What is clear is that we are presented with many interesting shows from this once every 4 yearly event. all the players who competed in the championship yesterday, can be sure to have returned to their respective teams. both Messi, Mbappe, Neymar, they have re-joined into a single team.
As you said, everything is professional and i believe it. In a few days, Ligue 1 will restart soon. all teams will focus on this competition, including the PSG stars. including Monaco, who may be ready to play matches in the second half of the season.

I don't see that for now, the reason Madrid were so sure last season Mbappe would come is because things like this happened but when he decided to stay with PSG and turned down Madrid's offers I think it ended there. Because I'm still pretty sure Madrid still won't open the door for Mbappe this season or even next season even though it's possible this will definitely be the last option for Perez, he has money and there are still a number of strikers he can bring in even though it's true in terms of skills obviously it won't be as good as Mbappe but he will choose that option as it will be very painful again for Perez if he is rejected again and again at the last moment.
Kylian Mbappe will not join Real Madrid this season. He will play until he finishes his argument at PSG. He could potentially join Real Madrid later on if they want to sign Kylian Mbappe. However, if Mbappe joins Real Madrid, this team is the best team in the world. That means it has the potential to become the best club.
Even though Real Madrid has been disappointed by Mbappe but with Mbappe's great playing style, of course Real Madrid as a professional club will still be willing to accept Mbappe. But indeed, if Mbappe stays longer at PSG then Mbappe will reach old age, and if Mbappe is too old then this will not make Real Madrid sign him.
Because so far I think Real Madrid only signed players who still have a good long term but yes, after all Mbappe is still very young at this time.
At least this age factor still creates a big chance for Mbappe to play for Real Madrid later and after all, if PSG still can't win the Champions League title this season and also next season. So of course Mbappe will be very likely to leave PSG, I personally am quite sure because of Mbappe's young age, at least Mbappe will not play at PSG forever.
Unless Mbappe has great loyalty to the team, and with great love for the team then of course Mbappe will be able to play at PSG until retirement. But with the big ambitions that Mbappe has, then of course Mbappe will play in a team that does have greater potential to be able to win many titles, especially for the Champions League.

I think mbappe should realize that he will be able to perform better in other clubs like Real Madrid or clubs which have better competition in the league. If he stays in PSG he is just going to destroy his career and also not be able to build the legacy that he probably could have with other clubs.

He should also realize that he will have enough money always. If you are a talented football player right now in this world you can never go broke. You will always have more than you need. So, the important thing is to build up a legacy. But if he stays in PSG he will not be able to do that. I believe that if he wants to go to Real Madrid, Real Madrid will not have any problem taking him on the team. But after one or two years I am not so sure about that.

Same with Lorient conceded 21 goals, there are rumors about Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile which will be an alternative by Chelsea, the young man ability is enough to steal Chelsea attention. Maybe Monaco will let him go? If they let him go, will their defense be even worse or will they sign another player? Also to finish in second place this season is very difficult for Monaco there is Lens which is currently in very good of performance.
Seems unacceptable with Lorient achievement this season before international break out because success leaded 5th standing position with bad statistic. Until 15 matches, Lorient have conceded 21 goals from 26 goals scored and become  the 5th standing team have many goals conceded. I don't think with how poor performance from Lorient defender because they have conceded about 1.4 goals each match.

But can't imagine with Lorient can lead to 5th standing position although have conceded many goals, only few points away from Marseille and Rennes, Lorient has the opportunity to be in 3rd place. Have advantage with home match opportunity for Lorient against Montpellier next match after international break out, if can added three points have possibility break to 4th standing position if Marseille loss next match.

What is this nonsense? What does "maybe" mean? Can you remind me how the French players mocked the Croatian players at the last World Cup when they won it? It is very strange to justify the behavior of some fuckers by assuming that in their place others would have done the same.
When it comes to accountability, that's not how it works. If your friend behaves like shit, and you continue to be friends with him as if nothing had happened, pretending that "everything is fine" then everyone will have questions not only to the friend but also to you.

In my opinion, trash-talking is acceptable in any game, but I believe that even that is subject to a limit, and I believe that Emiliano Martinez has crossed that limit, which I find to be unacceptable to some degree. As far as Martinez is concerned, the team should take action against him as he is publicly defaming a player like Kylian Mbappe, which is really sad and disappointing. I do not know if Kylian Mbappe has spoken about him, but I strongly believe that he should stop what he is doing as soon as possible.

I don't think that Mbappe should pay attention to such a bug and give this clown even more "importance". It's rather ironic that Mbappe will be written into the history of football as a big name, while Martinez will still remain a clown and, compared to Mbappe, a no-name. In fact, with his celebrations, he is ridiculous as a hockey player who gives too much importance to the World Championship.

World Cup passed and Ligue 1 will resume in few days so better to concentrate on that indeed!
Monaco transfer rumors aren't that many nor important as I could find although they have enough money to spend to recruit few players. So far they aren't in top level comparing to the previous season although they are trying to recover and advance.
Their match will be against Auxerre, a team that is trying to avoid the relegation zone so it is obvious why Monaco is favorite here.

Monaco is not playing well this season. Out of 15 matches, they have won only 8 matches. Winning the title is not their goal, but they will try to climb to second place in the table. But their squad is not strong enough. Especially the performance of their defenders is poor. They conceded 21 goals in 15 matches. Monaco will definitely need to tighten up their defence if they want to finish second in the table. The performance of attacking players is quite decent. A solid defence will stabilize Monaco's performance. However, it is very difficult to make predictions about Ligue 1 teams. The performance of most teams in Ligue 1 has been erratic.

Yes i totally agree such behavior is not worthy of a world champion especially argentina goalkeeper who nobody cared about before this world cup and as you said making fun of someone who won the world cup at the age of 20 and who is the goalscorer in this worldcup tournament is uncalled for if he made fun of ronaldo that would've been more understandable.

Although Mbappe is scoring more goals than Messi in the World Cup, he cannot even come close to Messi's style of play. Because Messi has single-handedly led the entire Argentina team forward. Lionel Messi's feat in winning the World Cup is one football fans will never forget.
Saying that Messi carried his team on his back to win the world cup on a game where Mbappe scored 3 goals and scored his penalty as well (technically fourth goal) is weird. I mean this guy was the only reason Argentina didn't beat France the way they beat Croatia.
The game could have been over 2-0 if he wasn't as good as he is, specially that second goal was something special, to hit the ball like that from there in a way goalkeeper would know where you are hitting and STILL can't save it, that was magical. I am not saying Mbappe is better than Messi or anything, maybe now he could be, but to say Messi is worse in general would be idiotic. All I am saying is that Mbappe is not bad neither, dude is quite great.
You both have valid points. Argentina wouldn't be here if Messi didn't do all those things. Their whole gameplay is based on him, even squad choices were made according to that game plan. We can't say same thing about France though. Remove Mbappe and you will still have a great team and a chance to play in the final. Also nobody can underestimate how Mbappe play in whole tournament and especially in the final. I believe Mbappe will be the main character in football for over a decade when Messi era is completely over.
Heading back to France, these two should move on and focus on their game because now Parisians expect them to win the Champions League. If they can't pass Bayern in February then there will be no target left for this season. I don't think they'll lose Ligue 1 again for a couple of more years considering how big their lobby and budget is.

I think a lot of people confuse the style of Mbappé with the style of Messi. If we actually analyze both of them, we will be able to see that Lionel Messi is talented naturally. He doesn’t need to have great speed or physicality to make plays. But on the other hand in Mbappé needs pace and physicality. Because those are the two main weapons of him. If you take away the pace of Mbappé I don’t think he has much to offer. And we cannot differentiate or compare a player with Messi with goals. Lionel Messi can provide a lot to the team by just walking.

We see a lot of times that he is just walking in the field. But he is scanning the whole field at that time. He knows he does not have the agility or stamina he had when he was young. So he scans the field for potential gaps and potential weak links in the defense for the opponent.

Considering that the scandal over Martinez’s behavior is developing more and more and I don’t see any words from Messi about the fact that such behavior (from the moron Martinez) is unacceptable, I think that the relationship between Mbappe and Messi is ruined. It seems to me that in a normal team, partners should support each other, and in this situation, Martinez is clearly not right in relation to Mbappe. Accordingly, Mbappe does not get what he theoretically expects from a teammate.
if france had won the world cup maybe they would be doing something similar, so i see this whole argentina celebration situation as something normal, for that reason the mbappe doesn't have any reason to be upset with argentina and much less doesn't have any reason to be upset with messi, we have to understand that messi is not the father of the argentina players, he has no power to keep dictating rules on how the argentina players have to celebrate in each victory, that makes no sense.
so Mbappe at PSG has no reason to get involved with messi, because the world cup is over and the world cup games have nothing to do with the ligue 1 games, messi is a PSG employee, he has a contract and PSG demands good performance from him, while Messi is also an Argentine, he has a duty to be useful to Argentina when he is called up for the Argentine team, these are things that Mbappe needs to understand and overcome and have good relations with the Messi, I'm just a little in doubt if Messi will play or not because his celebration lasted a long time, can anyone tell me if Messi is already in France and training in PSG's field?

There should be no mockery directed at someone for losing a game. Especially national team players should be more sensitive. Such mockery can only lead to negative criticism. Can help create major conflicts. Argentinian players get too excited and make fun of the other team which should not be done. They even mocked Brazil in the dressing room a few days ago when they defeat to Croatia in the semi finals. Anyway, at the end i would like to say that you can cheer, but you should not do anything directly that reflects dishonor.

As a professional athlete, Martinez should not disrespect Mbappe at all. There is no doubt that Mbappe is a fantastic player. And his performance in this World Cup was excellent. Mbappe's consistently good performances saw France qualify for the final. Such a player should not be mocked. Martinez should admit his mistake and apologize to Mbappe.

Mbappe has said that his dream team since childhood was Real Madrid, so I don't wonder if one-day Mbappe will finally play in Madrid, even though it's only a few years. madrid still opens the door wide for mbappe, apart from that if PSG manages to win the UCL cup, I also still believe that mbappe will not intend to be at PSG much longer.
Have you seen the duration of Mbappe's contract with PSG at this point? If you haven't seen that, then when did Mbappe say that and who did he say it to, because I don't think Mbappe is saying that to you at this point. Besides, the news you said is not so viral now, which means that Mbappe still has a chance to continue to stay at PSG (a team that has never won the UCL) even though the team is predicted to be able to win the UCL this season.
