French league has been much competitive, PSG has failed to utilize their chances of winning their last and that has placed them in a jeopardy where they have to work harder to maintain their chances of being at the top.
PSG has a competitor under Lens, only 3 points adrift, of course PSG must be able to be better than before, considering the bad games in the previous matches which made PSG lose points and Lens could overtake them at the top of the standings, I think PSG will also not let Lens took their place
No reason for PSG to lose another point in the upcoming match. Lens becomes even closer to the PSG. marseille was also performing so well in the last matches. PSG must be back again on the right track to win the upcoming matches without getting draw anymore. Lens is always trying to make the points to be the same as PSG. PSG has been missing so many golden opportunities to make the gap to the lens become even bigger. I think that the performance of those world-class trio was not so good.
It can be seen from how those great players were not able to make PSG win the last match.

Paris Saint-Germain make competition in the Ligue 1 French even more competitive
Fan enthusiasm has also increased after seeing the point difference in the current standings, many want to see how the two PSG and Lens teams complete the challenge towards the end of the season. Although I'm still pretty sure Paris Saint-Germain will still dominate the league, the situation could change considering that PSG also has great potential in the Champions League.
The Champions League is also one of Paris Saint-Germain's ambitions this season

I can't say who was the luckiest this week. Because there is no change in the position of the standings as well as the distance between their points. If I say Paris Saint Germain is lucky because Lens can't win this week, and Lens is the same, they are lucky because Paris Saint Germain was thwarted by Reims, which in strength they should have been able to win. Likewise with Marseille and Monaco which have the same position that has not changed at all.
Paris Saint Germain looks unstable now, no matter how good the players they have, but when bad luck comes to them, The Parisian can't do anything.

First of all, I think the red card of Marco Verratti could easily have been avoided. Secondly, I think that there are a lot of problems in the defense of PSG. There certainly need to do better in terms of defense. There is always one player open for a through ball. And if it was not for Gianluigi Donnarumma, PSG could have actually lost this match. We all saw how busy the PSG goalkeeper was in this match. But in the end, it was a big mistake made by PSG at the end of the match which cost them two points. And it is true, they do look unstable now.

Indeed, Verratti's red card seemed unnecessary because it was still not threatening but indeed this was one of the losses and they drew again. Fortunately their current closest rival Lens also did not play well in their match this time.
Their scheme is still quite good, their ball control is also very good but not very useful indeed with their condition which is still a little difficult from the current finishing even though their players can be said to be fit as a whole.

They missed a golden opportunity to run away from their closest followers. This also shows that the pressure is all building up on them during such time and their consistency has been lost,in fact they have a lot of draws and a lost game against Lens recently which says a lot about them lately. If this was not enough, the pressure is even bigger for the upcoming encounter in the Champions League, they have Champions League as their primary objective and a lot of fans are waiting a lot from them here,if they miss to go forward in the Champions League then the pressure in the Ligue 1 will even go up further.

They're not worried about the league. Their rivals are just as inconsistent, and they can even afford to drop to second or third place for a while. In fact, that might actually give them some more "motivation" to gain victories to eventually win.

It's definitely the Champions League they'll feel the pressure. One last season with Messi magic it seems, so that's the only they need to capture and Messi will be motivated for.

The real question for me, because PSG talk is boring, is can Marseille or even Monaco do enough to try and snatch this title? Lens, forget about it. You can't win the league with crossing as your main tactic, so if they stay in place end of the season for Champions League, it'll be interesting to see if they try something different.

Maybe psg is not doing well this year but i think the other clubs haven't the required potential to get the league 1 trophy, pag remind me of Bayern this year they are having the same situation but the other clubs still very weak and can't really take the trophy from them, it's just a matter of time and they will both recover their level in my opinion
PSG in general still has time and everything to improve everything that is still lacking or fix a number of things that can have a good effect on their appearance in the next match. And I think it really needs to be done by PSG before they compete in the Champions League because the matches for the Champions League are no longer long apart from having to stay focused on Ligue1 this season.

The point gap that is no longer far from Lens can actually provide a pretty strong warning for PSG in terms of improving so that Lens doesn't have the chance to sit in first place in Ligue1 this season. Because Lens is also trying its best to be able to shift PSG, which is still in first place in Ligue1.

I saw the frustration on the face of Christophe Galtier, he needs to be careful when they meet Bayern Munich on February 14. His job depends more on the club's Champions League performance.
I wouldn't agree more. PSG results in Ligue 1 are normal but quite frustrating since Lens and Marseille are close to them.
Losing Ligue 1 title might end his carrier with the team and I am almost sure he will not continue with them next year if he lose in Champions League games against Bayern.
The ridiculous point is that both teams are wasting victories vs easier teams in their domestic league...

PSG will likely fire Galtier if they fail to win the Ligue 1 title. However, PSG's main target is the Champions League. If PSG is able to play well by playing champions, then maybe PSG will keep Galtier as coach. And they will try to make the party stronger. Even if PSG can't play well in Ligue 1, they have the potential to play well in Champions League. Because their opponents Bayern Munich are not in good form. They have drawn in the last three matches. So if PSG's three attacking players can play well then they can win against Bayern Munich.

the league is competitive because PSG are losing points in a lot of games with different circumstances, if they kept their form which they started with no one could be able to compete with, also even with them being so close in points with Lens and Marseille they are still way favorite than both of them to win the league.

PSG keep making their fans feel unaccomplished because of their inconsistency and unexpected results, it is a reality and fact that most internally respected and professional footballers are found in this club, but the day to day results of these team is devastating, every right thinking person would have thought that PSG will win their last league encounter but many person got a shocker, despite the red, PSG ought to have maintained the 1:0 lead but the allowed Reims that is not in good position to cause them a good 3 points which is not good for a team that want to continue to be at the top of the league table, as it stands now they have to work harder to maintained their position at the top.

Psg got a really surprising result.  I honestly thought they would win this game by a big margin.  Their draw has been one of the most surprising results in recent weeks.  Despite being in a bad position in the league, Reims caused Psg to lose two points.  Psg is lucky as it's been an unlucky week for Lens.  Their leadership in the league is currently in jeopardy.  Now they have to win every game.
I can't believe the result. Folarin Balogun made an outstanding save when the match was only 40 seconds left. The result is definitely bad luck for PSG. Lens also suffered a draw and neither did Marseille. It seems that the current top position do not make any change at all in this week. PSG needs to work harder. It seems that players have lost all of their spirit after the World cup.
I can't say who was the luckiest this week. Because there is no change in the position of the standings as well as the distance between their points. PSG loosing previous match and drew the last game isn't a good one at all for a team where we have goal machines Lionel Messi, Mbappe and Neymar playing together, I don't know why the trio should find it this difficult to score goals.
Seriously PSG should be the most interesting team we should have in that Ligue 1. They're only using 3 points to gap Lens who is in the second position, where the margin should be something like 5 point and above base on the quality of players in there.
Yes, because if it's only competition in the local league, PSG still can't be consistent to achieve good results, then how can PSG be able to go further in the Champions League. Even though at this moment Bayern Munich also got situations and conditions that weren't good, but still, that doesn't mean PSG have to have the same situation.
So yes, PSG should be able to beat competing teams in Ligue 1 first, because if PSG are already very strong in Ligue 1 then at least PSG will be able to promise good results in the Champions League as well.

The way PSG is playing right now, I am not sure that they are 100% going to be the winner of the title. I know they are still the best team in the league. But I do not know if they will be able to win that title as easily as we thought they will. This team has a good attack. But that defense is very weak and the midfield is not the best if I put it decently. Honestly, I am not very hopeful about PSG in the Champions League. Because even if everything is in their favor, they're still somehow losing. The only thing PSG was very confident about was the ligue1 title. But that is still under doubt.

Brest team benefited greatly from this round they managed to beat the last team anger with a huge score and all the other teams on the relegation zone lost so they are currently out of danger, both their results and performance improved recently but they have tough games coming up so they need to focus and gather as much points as they can.

PSG was very unlucky against Reims, it was really not good. I feel PSG deserved to win that match more if they managed to take the best chance. Mbappe, Neymar and Messi had several chances, but they were only not put to good use or saved by the Reims goalkeeper. Lacking 1 player in that match actually made PSG very depressed in the second half, but they played well before the last seconds. It was definitely bad experience for PSG. The 3 points should have been safe, but in the end it only resulted in 1 point.

Monaco has been Unbeaten in their last five Ligue 1 matches, Monaco will be confident of collecting another three points when they take on struggling Auxerre at the Stade Louis II (Monaco). Having picked up a valuable draw at rivals Marseille on Sunday, Monaco finds themselves 4th in the table, some nine points behind leaders PSG and five points behind Les Phocéens following that 1:1 share of the spoils. Contrastingly, Auxerre suffered their sixth successive Ligue 1 loss, this time against Montpellier, leaving them second bottom of the division, some five points from safety. Following a ten-year absence from the top fligAuxerre have struggled to adapt to life in Ligue 1 following their promotion last summer, and a return to Ligue 2 looks increasingly likely for Christophe Pélissier´s side. On the road, Auxerre have been particularly poor, losing eight and winning just one of ten matches this season, and they are unlikely to feel confident about their chances against a Monaco side that put seven past Ajaccio in their most recent home victory. Indeed, having already conceded five goals at Rennes and PSG, and four goals at Lille, it looks like another tough night should be on the cards for the struggling visitors. Analytically the game is a work over for Monaco.

Lyon vs stade Brest , After Lyon won their first match in the last four outings, Lyon is aiming to move closer to the top teams amid trying to salvage a faltering season that will once again leave them without European football next season, The visiting team has a whole different agenda for the remaining part of the season. They are just above the relegation line looking to get some wins that would move them out of the danger zone. They had a good weekend by beating Angers 4-0 and now will travel to Lyon looking forward for another positive outcome. Lyon was terrific at home during the opening three months of the year, but after the winter break, things changed. They have gone three straight games without a victory in front of their fans, and with a couple of losses in a row, once again they need to find their form to maintain the pursuit of a top-five finish. Brest hasn't been setting the league alight as well when it comes to their away form. They have won only twice as a guest team while also drawing on two occasions and suffering through six losses. But I still believe something positive might still happen in this team considering their two recent winning.

An equalizer by Reims at the Parc des Princes denies PSG a victory. Despite having all three stars, this PSG team looks like medicare. At the moment, PSG is struggling. When did they last win a big one? Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe played together to secure a draw against Reims. For PSG, Neymar scored, and for Reims, Balogun scored.
