PSG will be back to their full form shortly after the World Cup ends. However, some of PSG's best players are in the top 8, including Messi-Neymar Mbappe Ashraf Hakimi. Hopefully all of them will be healthy until the end of the World Cup and will fit into the PSG team in a big way.

I don't see them (Paris Saint Germain) having any trouble winning the Ligue 1 title. The 5 point gap they now have is quite a distance, you can say it's quite far if this is in Ligue 1. Although they will suffer a loss because many of their retainers play in defense their country, but they have a squad that can even be said to not have a big gap with the main players. Which will be different if we talk about them in the Champions League.

PSG is now just 5 points clear of Lens A in Ligue 1. So PSG will have to perform well in every match after the World Cup and widen the gap with Lens. Otherwise, it will be difficult for PSG to win the Ligue 1 title. PSG will probably not get all their main squad players after the World Cup. Several players are likely to face injuries. PSG coach Galtier must keep his match strategy tight.

It must be really sad for Monaco to get to this point from a team which were competing for the league title seriously. The 2016/17 season was the one in which they became the champions. They had an amazing squad back then. There were really skilled young players and the harmony among them was very solid. They had Mbappe those times above all else. He was so young but he was still able to impress big teams by an impressive effort. It was the time Falcao was keeping a great form as well - he finished the season with 21 goals.

But in time they started to lose their important players one by one. They lost their most promising players who was Mbappe to PSG which affected them really deeply. Now they are trying to bring some good players to strengthen the team but the current effort is just not enough at all for any success.

PSG will be effected the most with this world cup with how many players are still active for their national teams. For PSG is good that champions league is still 2-3 months away and ligue 1 dosent put much presure on them because they can even play that league with a second squad

Especially Neymar is very injury-prone. He already got an injury too as you know but he is good now. If he gets another one then it might be more serious. Because we are in the later stages of the World Cup and teams would try to defend their opponents harder then before.

Most chances PSG will not have any problem if these all three stars will be not available for the first two or three matches after the break because they have enough strength for having win against their opponents into Ligue 1 without them even most chances all players will be available and give their best for the club but still they have nearly two months in start of Champions League and Ligue 1 is surely not problem for them even if they have just one or two players completely fit after the world cup.

There is no doubt Neymar will be not available after the end of world cup until he fully recovered but most chances Messi and Mbappé both will be on and give their best which is also enough for the club for retaining their top spot in Ligue 1 table.

Three of PSG's best attacking players are still at the World Cup with their national teams. Their team is now in the top eight. Hopefully none of them will suffer too serious injuries, and will integrate and perform well after the World Cup.

Hakimi is also still competing in the quarter-finals, he is also an important player in PSG's defense at the moment, so don't forget him. Several other Brazilian and Portuguese players are also still in the World Cup, they are important players too for PSG apart from Messi, Neymar and Mbappe.

The fatigue factor you think about some of these players may be true when the league returns. Neymar already had an injury. He is playing for Brazil but I don’t think he has made a full recovery. I expect Neymar to take some time off after the World Cup. Mbappe will probably stay healthy because he is not that old. But he can be fatigued.

I think that this is a game that we are all waiting for and that we all want to see how it unfolds, however currently in the World Cup there has been a lot of criticism of the players who belong to Argentina like Messi because he lost his first game against Saudi Arabia, and also Germany lost against Japan, so it's surprises that both players like Muller and Messi took away, they both represent Bayern and PSG, so it's like you say, PSG will focus on winning the UCL, and Ligue1 is more than ready for them with their first place, it is almost impossible for them to lose first place, I don't see them losing the lead.


I think the same, Neymar is in a very high fucking place where all he wants for now is to win the World Cup, I don't think he has anything else in mind, however at PSG he can achieve many things, he won't give him everything on a silver platter either to Mbappé, except after the problems they have had, I know that Mbappé has had many successes in this World Cup and in PSG, but his attitude is one that is not very well regarded, it is not essential, on the other hand, the humility that Neymar shows He's incredible, and in fact he takes it much more with Messi because they both don't want to pass over each other, Neymar is a player who has matured a lot, compared to the game they beat South Korea, Neymar was much more focused and very mature.

Considering Neymar is already back, and even though their teams (both Argentina, Brazil and France) are still in the tournament and anything could still happen, do you guys think that PSG will continue to dominate with their stars? Or is there a chance that anything could happen with their stars?

I feel like Messi looked a bit rough, still plays great but looked like he wasn't running straight, maybe he is hurting somewhere but don't want to stop at world cup and take a small break to heal after it ends? In any case, returning players will have some sort of results in the league, and betting against PSG right at the restart could be profitable, or I am just wrong.

Marseille have been a disappointment so far. They actually made a really solid start to the season. They seemed unstoppable for a long time in their league matches. It was like they were caring about the league more than the Champions League. While everything was going on suddenly their form in the Ligue 1 started to drop sharply. They lost so many points in such a short time that it was hard to explain really. They were going to face really tough two teams right after all of this negativity. But they managed to defeat Monaco and Lyon both.

Maybe these huge and important wins can help them recover their old form. After a bad ending in the group stage of the Champions League they should be able to concentrate on their domestic league matches completely. But it is too difficult for them to close the gap up with PSG from now on. They would fight for finishing at the 2nd position just as they did last season.

Neymar is without any doubt one of the best player in current soccer generation and his presence in national team is having big impact on their performance even they are one of the best team with many stars but sadly most of the time he faced many injuries which hurt his career badly and now Brazilian fans are also feeling not good about him due to his certain injuries in World Cup.

But, good things happening for them in current world cup as he is back and doing good which will give them good encouragement which helps them for having tough fights for title now they have easy quarterfinal against Croatia and then most chances they are going to face Argentina/Netherlands in the semifinal which could be not easy match for any team but here Neymar presence is surely going to have big impact on their chance for winning title in this year.

National team achievement for national team, club achievement for club, maybe like that. There is no direct impact when the national team succeeds in winning the club in the league. Impact on the players maybe, because they will get offers if they manage to impress during the World Cup as discussed here. But if you say achievements in the national team will affect places in the Champions League and Europa League, I don't think there is a correlation.

Neymar still one of the most important players in Brazil and psg and majority of fans really consider him as the best player of the world, regardless his injurie he still have the chance to do many things in the world cup and he already started scoring, Neymar is comfortable with psg and i don't think he will leave anytime soon

do you know the reason why brazil fans mock neymar, that's because he is consistently injured in the world cup, he is a clown for brazil fans. he may be in good form at PSG but the injury he has experienced makes him worried that he will not be able to defend Brazil in the world cup until it is finished. Next year's transfer market will surely be full of speculation on potential replacements for Neymar at PSG.

The number of places in the Champions League is determined by the achievements of the clubs (how many points they bring to their country's piggy bank playing in European competition) and have nothing to do with how the national team performs. And this is quite logical, since the club level and the level of the national teams are completely different things. Haaland knows this best
