That must be the best attack in the french league but not in the world. How the hell you call it the best attack in the world but PSG never won UCL even one time? PSG is still far from being named as a perfect team. Messi has decided for not to extend his contract with PSG. that means if PSG must search a replacement for messi's position.This will be greatly impacting the team as we know that Messi was making lots of goals combined with assist too. It can be said that if PSG needs to get a good player in the upcoming transfer season. I hope that Messi will be moving to a better league.

I believe you are making a small mistake, it isn't Lyon that is in that position, but Lens; Lyon are 9th in the Ligue 1 table. Marseille and Lens are playing very well, they are the teams that are making the Ligue 1 competitive this season, and i am sure psg are going to be worried about them. Many times in the Ligue 1 psg are usually ahead with 10 points and more, but this season is different and if they do not focus on the Ligue 1 they may lose the title to either Lens or Marseille. Lens are 3 points behind psg, while Marseille are 5 points behind, they have to continue winning, so if psg make a mistake, they will be close enough to them in order to take their position.

When the league is in so much disarray, it's normal for a team we never expected to be at the top to become at the top. I mean it's obvious that nobody expected Lens to do well, and they did it anyway not just because they played well, but because teams that were expected to do well didn't do so well at all. Which means that it's as much of an achievement for them as it is disappointment by other teams as well.

The only team that is guaranteed to be good in this league is PSG, all other teams are always a bit unexpected and unknown, they may do well, or they may do badly and that is why it's definitely not something that I would suggest not to expect much from anyone.

The achievement that Lille got in the 2020/21 season wasn't easy to do at all. They achieved an unbelievable success against a very powerful PSG. PSG didn't have Messi back then but they were still much stronger than all of the other teams left. Lille's high dedication throughout the season made it possible for them to get a championship.

Lens are trying to achieve the same success but this road is really long and tiresome at the same time. It isn't easy to keep your mental up until the end of the season while there is a team like PSG in front of you. It would be lovely if we see a title run between PSG and some other team until the final weeks at least.

There is no doubt that Marseille are playing very well. They have won their last 6 matches. But Marseille is still 2 points behind Lyon. And 5 points behind PSG. Lyon are the most likely to top the table if PSG lose the points. I don't think Marseille will win the title. However, PSG is still the favorite to win the title. It's not a matter of being lazy or not scoring goals, because what @Docnaster is referring to is how selfish Mbappe is in scoring goals but doesn't have a good record of assists. Because so far when players are great at scoring goals, and then these players are also good at providing assists.

Lens dont need to beat PSG in a direct match. They just need to consistently win against other team. And if they successfully to do so, Ligue 1 will be their. And you are correct. Ligue 1 is more alive than ever. Just look at the scoreboard, not just Lens but Marseille also have an outstanding results recently. This season will be tough for PSG to secure their title.
