yes agree with you. Ball possession, talent and potential, this trio (Mbappe, Neymar and Messi) has it all and without a doubt they are the best attack in the world with immense talent. If psg gets solid defensively they can win it all, they have a near perfect squad. Psg will have to do something about their defense before the UCL round of 16.
That must be the best attack in the french league but not in the world. How the hell you call it the best attack in the world but PSG never won UCL even one time? PSG is still far from being named as a perfect team. Messi has decided for not to extend his contract with PSG. that means if PSG must search a replacement for messi's position. This will be greatly impacting the team as we know that Messi was making lots of goals combined with assist too. It can be said that if PSG needs to get a good player in the upcoming transfer season. I hope that Messi will be moving to a better league.

Even if it is like that and what you say about the trio of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar is true they will also struggle for the Champions League.
Their opponent is Bayern, who from an experience point of view they are clearly superior. As for players, they are as strong as PSG, even without goats and young players of Mbappe's caliber.
They are still able to compensate and even beat PSG later.

PSG have been inconsistent again to win after losing against Rennes in Ligue 1. I don't understand what made PSG so difficult in this match, Messi's return should have made the game more lively. Looking at PSG's statistics, they are far superior with 6 shots on target, but it seems that this is just a matter of finishing which keeps PSG from scoring. With this result, PSG cannot widen the distance from Lens on the standings, while Lens only needs 3 more points to match PSG's points.
As a result of PSG's defeat, the competition for points in the temporary standings has become even more fierce because there is not such a large distance between the teams in the top three for now. I also didn't expect why PSG could be beaten by Rennes, even though Neymar and Messi also played in that match, but they also couldn't score goals to save PSG from losing to Rennes even though that also didn't change PSG's position as top of the standings.

If you look at it, this day was black for the teams that are considered the greatest in the world, Real Madrid did badly, a Man City that had a lot of power did badly, PSG did badly who has an enormous potential just in front, and not to mention everything they have done in their defense and all the efforts they have to keep Mbappé, and Neymar with Messi, then sometimes I think that all that supremacy is going to waste when they enter a playing field where there are differences between the same players, and a technical director who is not good at generating a good game and directing the best in the world.

Marseille has been playing fantastically recently, so it's no wonder that they are moving up the league. They've picked up six straight victories, so they should be taken seriously. It would be wonderful to have a different team win the championship this year instead of PSG. A more thrilling and intense league would result from it. I hope this season brings some unexpected title contenders to the league.

There is no doubt that Marseille are playing very well. They have won their last 6 matches. But Marseille is still 2 points behind Lyon. And 5 points behind PSG. Lyon are the most likely to top the table if PSG lose the points. I don't think Marseille will win the title. However, PSG is still the favorite to win the title. Although they have dropped points in a few matches, I think they will be able to return to form very quickly.

I am a person who now has a lot of faith in Masrsella, Lyon is another team that is making a lot of noise, PSG is a team that has dominated this Ligue 1, when we realize that one of this team is approaching and They are giving a lot to talk about, this gets emotional, in my personal opinion I know that many fans love PSG, so there are many famous players, but sometimes this can be a double-edged sword because honestly there are enough that they have to to show and that becomes pressure and if a team is beginning to be very closely behind them, they have to apply strategies to keep their first place, Lyon is good, but I think that for now I see Marseille better.

Lyon turn attention to Ellyes Skhiri as João Gomes favours Wolves move

Quote
RMC Sport report that Lyon midfield target João Gomes has chosen Wolves over the Ligue 1 outfit, with the club now turning their attention towards Tunisian international Ellyes Skhiri.

The Köln man was on Les Gones’ radar last winter as a potential Bruno Guimarães replacement, and the former Montpellier man could be set for a return to France, three and a half seasons after leaving Montpellier.

I believe you are making a small mistake, it isn't Lyon that is in that position, but Lens; Lyon are 9th in the Ligue 1 table. Marseille and Lens are playing very well, they are the teams that are making the Ligue 1 competitive this season, and i am sure psg are going to be worried about them. Many times in the Ligue 1 psg are usually ahead with 10 points and more, but this season is different and if they do not focus on the Ligue 1 they may lose the title to either Lens or Marseille. Lens are 3 points behind psg, while Marseille are 5 points behind, they have to continue winning, so if psg make a mistake, they will be close enough to them in order to take their position.

Ligue 1 still far away from competitive I think although fewest points left between PSG and Lens on current standing poaition. Ledt 19 matches later and potential for PSG back to top performance and I don't sure with Lens and other team keep in consistency performance. But have positive side if Ligue 1 back competitive and there have good business later not only with PSG have good financial but also other team will have new rich investor.
Yes, the League One side is becoming more difficult as other teams adopt the same mentality as other reputable leagues such as the Premier League and Laliga; almost all teams are vying for the top spot, which is a very impressive season.

Lens is a team that I never expected to see higher than tenth in the League One table, but Lens is doing everything they can to qualify for the Champions League next season, and I am confident that if they have consistency, they can compete with PSG because the points difference is so small.
When the league is in so much disarray, it's normal for a team we never expected to be at the top to become at the top. I mean it's obvious that nobody expected Lens to do well, and they did it anyway not just because they played well, but because teams that were expected to do well didn't do so well at all. Which means that it's as much of an achievement for them as it is disappointment by other teams as well.

The only team that is guaranteed to be good in this league is PSG, all other teams are always a bit unexpected and unknown, they may do well, or they may do badly and that is why it's definitely not something that I would suggest not to expect much from anyone.

If Mbappe likes let him score the whole 7 goals himself. The main question is, how many assists has he made so far this season? He's scored more than 18 goals now at the league level but how many assists has he made? His assists in the club are not even up to half of the assistance given by Messi or Neymar. No doubt, Mbappe is quite a versatile player, but he is intentionally selfish if u ask me, and this may someday be errant to his career.

This is a very wrong thing to say, the current football around the world has to do with goals, work rate, team contributions and individual performance, at the end would be winning the World Cup and Champions League for your country and club.
Kylian Mbappe already has one, and has scored good number of goals both last season and this season, I don't see him slacking down with scoring goals. You all talk about attitude but have you done a personal check about oneself. Let him keep doing his thing.

Kylian Mbappe is a center forward, reducing movement is the right decision to minimize the drain on stamina, in my opinion not lazy. At Paris Saint-Germain, Mbappe has wings like Messi and Neymar whose role is to support Mbappe

Anyway, the combination of three strikers Mbappe, Neymar and Messi is the combination of strikers to be most wary of this season.

The achievement that Lille got in the 2020/21 season wasn't easy to do at all. They achieved an unbelievable success against a very powerful PSG. PSG didn't have Messi back then but they were still much stronger than all of the other teams left. Lille's high dedication throughout the season made it possible for them to get a championship.

Lens are trying to achieve the same success but this road is really long and tiresome at the same time. It isn't easy to keep your mental up until the end of the season while there is a team like PSG in front of you. It would be lovely if we see a title run between PSG and some other team until the final weeks at least.

It's not a matter of being lazy or not scoring goals, because what @Docnaster is referring to is how selfish Mbappe is in scoring goals but doesn't have a good record of assists. Because so far when players are great at scoring goals, and then these players are also good at providing assists.
So the point here is about balance in scoring goals and assists, because if Mbappe is too ambitious to score a lot of goals but when later there are no more players who can support him or provide good assists then that will also be a problem later.

Lens is a team that I never expected to see higher than tenth in the League One table, but Lens is doing everything they can to qualify for the Champions League next season, and I am confident that if they have consistency, they can compete with PSG because the points difference is so small.

You are right. Lens was a team for whom being in the top 5 of the points table was a huge achievement for them. And this team is fighting for the title this season. They are consistently performing well and are second in the table. And the important thing is that they are only 3 points behind PSG. Their defenders have been outstanding this season. Lens conceded 13 goals in 19 matches. Due to such performances from the defenders, the Lens team has been able to continue fighting for the title.

The only advantage that keeps Lens consistent is, they don't have a tight schedule. unlike, Marseille, PSG, and other teams who have matches in different competitions. Lens only focuses on the Ligue 1 competition, so because of that they have been able to maintain their consistency so far. but anyway, Lens's achievements so far deserve our appreciation.

It's just that, Lens' progress until the end of this season will not run smoothly. the reason is, Lens has tough matches in the following weeks including leaving one more meeting with PSG, Marseille and other fairly strong teams. meaning, Lens could slip at any moment even against a weaker team.

I'm even quite optimistic, if Marseille has the potential to shift the ranking occupied by Lens for now. The reason is, Ligue 1 still leaves 19 matches remaining until the end of this season. well, let's just see if Lens is able to run smoothly until the end of this season. or they will drop in ranking if they get a series of defeats in future matches.
Lens has unquestionably improved during the year. They've been able to put all of their energies into the Ligue 1 season, and it's paid off so far. Even though they play less games than PSG, we shouldn't discount their success.  We'll find out if they can keep it up with some challenging upcoming contests. It will be amazing to see how they manage to beat other teams despite having to deal with PSG and Marseille.

And even they have only lost once this season, it's just that the draws they got are quite a lot. However, what Lens has shown so far has made the competition in Ligue 1 feel more alive. 3 points is the ideal distance for them to keep their distance and even catch up. But it is indeed very difficult to beat Paris Saint Germain, until now, it is the teams in the top 4 who can beat them. I hope there are other teams ready to surprise.
Lens dont need to beat PSG in a direct match. They just need to consistently win against other team. And if they successfully to do so, Ligue 1 will be their. And you are correct. Ligue 1 is more alive than ever. Just look at the scoreboard, not just Lens but Marseille also have an outstanding results recently. This season will be tough for PSG to secure their title. Let wait and see how crazy the league will be

The facts are obvious, and these cannot be normalized. The team has lost quite a few points in the league games, yet is still ranked first in the standings. In the point table, Lens is positioned second while Marseille is at third. Having a smaller points difference than PSG, if they fail to continue winning streaks, Lens and Marseille could threaten them. It's unlikely that PSG will drop any more points intentionally since they are aware of the facts.

If PSG is to win the Ligue 1 title, they will undoubtedly need to get back on track and pick up full points in all their upcoming matches. PSG's performance in the last few matches has been poor. They have lost two matches. And as a result, their points gap with Lens narrowed. And at the moment PSG team is only 3 points ahead of Lens. This gap is very narrow. And I think even if they lose any of the upcoming matches, it will be challenging for them to hold the top spot in the table.

PSG management spent a lot of money. There are many star players in their squad. Even so, their performance is shameful and disappointing. Galtier has been given ample opportunities by the PSG management. If he still can't stabilize the team then it's his failure.

PSG have boosted their morale incredibly much after winning their game in the Coupe de France by 7-0. Maybe they played against a very weak team but this result would still be helpful for them to be better.

They have lost quite many points in the league these days. This was a big help for teams like Lens and Marseille to catch up with them. However in the long run I still expect PSG to secure their title in the league. They are still way stronger than any team remaining here. It is only up to PSG players to stay focused and keep a good winning streak. Lens - Marseille duo are more likely to drop down from the title competition at a point in my opinion. But I'd really love to see this title competition lasting nearly until the end of the season.
The score was 7-nil and that is definitely a big accomplishment. Despite losing their last competitive game, PSG got an impressive result in this matchup. A total of five goals were scored by Mbappe in the match.

when the games in the league get more competitive it will be good for their business. unfortunately, Ligue 1 is not as interesting as the Premier League or Serie A, which every season always provides competition from every competitive club. because we know how PSG is a rich club with so many of its star players. Of course, few who watch Ligue 1 will be oriented that PSG is everything.
Currently, several leagues in Europe, including Ligue 1, have started to be competitive in the competition for the title, but indeed there is less attention here because only PSG can afford star players. If only some of Europe's top players played for a club in Ligue 1 I think it would interest a lot of people. But I think it's also very difficult, for sure the players want their career and future to be in the more popular leagues in Europe.
I don't know why you say that Ligue 1 is starting to be competitive, because so far Ligue 1 has not had strong competition in the race for trophies, yes, right now we will see if there is not too much difference in points between PSG with the ranking below it at the moment, but it's like last seasons experience then we will soon to see if PSG can leave a big difference in points when entering the end of the season, to be honest, I don't see if Ligue 1 is currently experiencing changes because indeed a rich team like PSG will still be the ruler in Ligue 1 as long as there is no new sheikh sheikh who wants to acquire another team in league 1.
I understand what you mean, but if you pay close attention to the Ligue 1 standings, you will find a difference compared to the previous season. We know that PSG has always been the ruler of this league by having a lot of points and it is impossible for other teams to catch up. If you look at it now, the difference in their points is very little and usually PSG has widened the distance with its competitors by up to 10 more points. Now PSG is starting to find it difficult to maintain victory in every match and that can be put to good use by its competitors. It seems you have to open your eyes to see further how this league is starting to develop.
