I agree with you that the concentration built by Paris Saint Germain can be utilized by these two clubs. We all know how high their desire to win the Champions League is, so compared to Ligue 1 I'm sure they will prioritize their matches in the Champions League more. That could be a situation that Lens and Marseille can take advantage of, because usually if the coach is not good at rotating players, then there will be a decline shown. The point margin created now should really be utilized by them, I mean don't let them lose a lot of unexpected points, like some time ago. That would be very disastrous for them.

Lens as shown good efforts since the beginning of this season and I believe they have invested too much to have afford loosing that position, I'm only worried about PSG because they are already giving me cold feet concerning this year French League 1 title.they have been displaying winning inconsistency ever since the returned from the Qatar Fiffa world Cup, though it wouldn't be a bad thing to see Lens win the league 1 tittle,  after all PSG as dominated for years.

I think that to be highly unlikely to happen because as you say the consistency of Lens and Marseille is not brilliant,they sometimes have difficulties maintaining the rhythm of PSG which can win against any team and the fact that they lose a couple of games is only because they underestimate their opponents.

If Lens or Marseille want to really take the lead and beat PSG the golden moment to do that is only when PSG will be more focused on the Champions League,starting next month because in normal conditions the teams from Ligue 1 are really of lower quality compared to Paris.

The season is still quite long, in fact the two teams have the opportunity to shift PSG from the top of the standings. it is possible that the Ligue 1 trophy will not go to PSG's favor if Lens and Marseille can play more consistently. even with a player composition that is far from what PSG has, if they are able to shift PSG, it is a blow to PSG that must be really considered. they think they can focus on the Champions League, but they forget about Ligue 1.

Agree, when comparing it with Marseille, they only lost 1 match in the last 10 games, while Lens, their performance fluctuates between win and draw. So far only Marseille has 5 green on statistics which we can think to increase to Lens' position or is not possible to beat also PSG's position. who knows, the ball is round and can move to anything and every where. Well this odds are attractive for Marseille vs Monaco more than Troyes vs Lens but could you support Marseille to win in that round for example? Personally I am hesitating and not sure if they could make it or just end the game with a draw.
For the team that could finish the competition second, well I believe both teams deserve to get that place with a bit support for Marseille since they woke up at least for now.

Are we really so sure about him leaving? I mean I am not saying he will stay because I do not have any data backing up him staying, but nobody has any data of him staying neither. He is famous for making contract decisions when the league is over, he did that with Barcelona every single time as well and stayed there for 20 years, which means that he could wait until the season is over and then sign with PSG as well, doesn't mean he will be leaving, doesn't mean he will stay.

On top of that, they paid nothing to buy him, just his contract, meaning it will not cost them anything to lose him neither, probably made his money back from just jersey sales alone. So they could use the same salary for buying another great player anyway.

I think Marseille are worth more to bet on for their championship rather than doing so for Lens. 

Because I don't think Lens can be more consistent than Marseille until the end of the season. I know that Lens have come a long way and done a quite nice job at the same time. They proved how serious they have been by beating PSG home as well. But it is still quite difficult for me to trust a quite average team like Lens for the title run instead of a much more solid team like Marseille. You know that Marseille have the best form in the league these days as well. They are capable of leaving Lens behind in a couple of weeks the most and fight with PSG as much as they can.

I agree, they are at a stage where serious problems can occur for Psg.  Currently in second place is Lens.  Psg should play the way it can get the most out of its core players.  They have 3 very important icons such as Mbappe, Neymar, Messi.  They must act with the right strategy to dominate the French league.
