There is no need to compare Mbappe to a legend like Messi. They are both amazing players above all else. But I'm putting each one of them to different places rather than comparing them. Both of them are very significant players for PSG at the moment. Maybe Mbappe has a much bigger ego than Messi and Neymar both. But as long as this ego doesn't get ahead of his performance quality there is still no problem for the team.

Mbappe has long years ahead of him in his career as he is very young now. His character would get better while he is getting more experienced day by day. I don't expect to watch him only at PSG as well by the way. Real Madrid might be his next team in the future.

It is extremely shameful to compare Mbappe to Messi the height Messi has climbed can't be reached by Mbappe.

Luckily he won the World Cup at a young age doesn't warrant fans talking these and that Mbappe on his own knows his level

Mbappe jinxed the opportunity given to him to work with Real Madrid but if they really interested they will be back to want whoever they want. The World Cup having Mbappe and Messi at the finals is what brings this comparison. Not cool

PSG have made history in the world cup for the past decades and it's definitely going to happen again in the Qater 2022 world cup. Let's take a good look at the past records and massive signing of the Paris Saint German club.
Ronaldinho signed for PSG in 2001, he won the the world cup in 2002
Next on our list was Kylian Mbappe who signed for PSG in 2017, he won the Russia 2018 world cup. Leo Messi signed for PSG in 2021, and he's in the final, the big question is, can he make history repeat itself by winning the final which would happen to be his last world cup game and appearance for Argentina?

It is not right to compare Messi and Mbappe right now, after all, there is a serious age and experience difference between them. Everyone thinks the same thing about Mbappe being very talented, but he still has a long time to be as good as Messi. Achieving the quality of Messi is a level that would be considered impossible for most people.
PSG is really lucky to have these two players Smiley
But in this case I feel there is more help because even if Mbappe and Messi are the center of attention still when the game is 11 people playing as a team and we can't forget that.
Even if one is claimed to be the best between Messi or Mbappe, I think it's not enough to bring the trophy because apart from anything at the moment it's the teamwork and the scheme used during the game that is important.

There was a time when Mbappe would go to Real Madrid. At the moment I don't see any reason for him to do that. The French league is not very strong and PSG becomes champion without any problems. That is not where Mbappe's ambitions lie. There are only a few clubs where he would seriously want to play, and they are all other clubs than in the French league. The Moroccan midfielder of Angers will also be taken away by a big club in the winter period. I don't know his name, but he made a big impression during the World Cup.

But if PSG this season might be able to get to the Champions League final match, then I'm sure Mbappe will stay at PSG. Because moving to Real Madrid too I think the competition in La Liga is the same, because Real Madrid is also always the favorite and it's the same situation with PSG in Ligue 1.
Although indeed, in La Liga there are opponents who at least have the same quality as Barcelona. Meanwhile, at this moment for PSG in Ligue 1, even though sometimes PSG also only gets draws and also loses, in the end PSG will still be at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

The situation is at least the same as Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and therefore, if Mbappe can take PSG further in the Champions League then I'm pretty sure Mbappe will stay at PSG maybe for a longer time.
Because the benchmark right now is only about the Champions League, because their target of being strong in the local league has at least been achieved. Also, if Mbappe can lead PSG to win the Champions League title too then it is very possible for Mbappe to get the Ballon d'Or and therefore, basically the potential for achievement for Mbappe at PSG is very big if he can get many top achievements.
Winning the Champions League will not stop Mbappe from leaving if he is bent on saying goodbye to ligue 1. Madrid almost finalized the deal of bringing him over to  laliga before he got a mouth watering offer from PSG to extend his contract. Mbappe is one player who loves good football, which made him consider the initial offer from Madrid. If he fails to win the CL in PSG for two years consecutive, he might decide to go on loan to PSG since his contract extends till 2025 at PSG.

For those comparing Mbappe and Messi, I think they are making cooked-up stories out of nothing because looking at the age, achievements, and quality of the players, Mbappe is nowhere to get closer to Messi who has been in the system for decades, and still doing great at his old age. At a young age, Mbappe proved that he is the new Messi and Ronaldo with his good performance but until the era of Messi and Ronaldo is gone, Messi will always come out as the best when compared to Mbappe.

As for the character of the young Mbappe, the ego will be reduced when he understands that pride and ego don't get the work done on the field but hard work and good relationship with teammates and coaches get the job done then he will moved to get the maturity he needs to become a successful player.

Anyone thinks that PSG could just blow things up and restart from scratch if they end up not winning UCL this year as well? They are always great at ligue 1 but I am seeing that they are not doing that great at UCL for this many years, and that means they may end up with a team that could just win it if they started from scratch and slowly built it instead of just get stars?

Mbappe is a great player, there is no doubt about that, but selling him for a record transfer fee, like 250 million or 300 million, which is not easy but also not impossible, would give them a chance to start over with some newer players and maybe that would work better for them?
Mbappe is actually a very good player. He is just an excellent scorer. But to compare him with Lionel Messi would be absolutely foolish, Lionel Messi is a unique player with whom no one can compare. Mbappe's side France and Lionel Messi's side Argentina have made it to the finals and they will be very competitive. I think if the Argentinian defenders can stop Kylian Mbappe brilliantly then they will win easily.

Mbappe is as good as Messi, maybe even better. Especially as they know each other very well. In yesterday's game against Morocco, Mbappe made excellent passes, no worse than Leonel Messi. By the way, in the PSG game Mbappe also plays better than Messi in my opinion. They just have an age difference, so Messi seems wise.
Honestly it's something that can't be compared in my opinion. How is it possible to compare between 2 players born in different generations? I also really don't really agree even if they were the same age. Each player has its own advantages, and also has its own disadvantages. I don't think it's right to compare these two players. And when it comes to forced comparisons between the two, Messi is better, there are many reasons why I say that, including, can Mbappe survive a decade of performance like Lionel Messi?

Messi and Mbappe both in the final. And so there will be a few star players who will play football at the same club. But they will also meet on the field. I wonder how the atmosphere will be at PSG because 1 out of 2 will return to PSG extremely disappointed. Don't know to what extent that will affect the PSG team. PSG will mainly concentrate on the CL, competition is no longer interesting. And Hakimi will also be disappointed after tonight's elimination with Morocco. Hakimi has not been playing for PSG for very long. And Di Maria is also part of the PSG squad?
If you look at it professionally, every player who is or has already defended his own country in the world cup this time must be very wise in facing challenges and their opponents and must not tie everything to the world cup as you mentioned for PSG.

And I think the disappointment of those who have lost and who will lose in the final will also not have much effect on the PSG team because when they all return to the league and are under one team, it is time for them to forget their disappointment that happened in the world cup. I think so.
The best team in Ligue 1 so far is PSG. PSG have yet to make a tough opponent to beat. However, there are some teams in League One who are doing incredibly well. However, the rest of the team's defense line is always failing against Messi-Neymar Mbappe's attack. Messi and Mbappe are in great form in this World Cup, hope they can do great things when they join the PSG team after the World Cup.

@Davian normally I would cite the professional’s player’s theory, but if any wrong decision is taken then it’ll definitely cause some issue between these two. Also Messi may move on from it but Mbappe may not get over it if he’s on the losing side, hence there’ll definitely be bad blood between them when this World Cup end’s and the league matches resumes.

I think Mbappe and Messi are still under the danger of getting injured. Mbappe was even nearly getting injured in the Morocco match today. Morocco players weren't going easy on him at all. Mbappe had some problems both they were only temporary injuries which was gone in a short time. PSG must have been really worried after seeing him in pain that much of course.

We will be watching Messi vs Mbappe in the finale of the World Cup as it seems. I hope there will be no injury incident for any of these two stars and they will come back to PSG as healthy players. Of course there will be still a long time until their first leg against Bayern Munich. But a lasting injury for any of the trio would be a big problem for PSG anyway. For now I'm also thinking that they are one step ahead of Bayern Munich as they are lacking Mane and Neuer for now.

Bayern is now missing their great goalkeeper, and PSG is not missing anyone unless Messi gets injured for the remainder of the world cup, which means that they will have an advantage.

Bayern may not miss Neuer during bundesliga, but PSG will use their talents to abuse the newer goalkeeper for sure, it will be a better for them without a doubt. I am not saying that we should be expecting them to lose for sure, Bayern could still win, but I see PSG as the favourites for sure, that means betting on them should be easier. Odds will not take Neuers importance all that much, and they will give them close odds, and that is why betting on PSG would be so great.
It was a shame when Bayern Munich lost their main goalkeeper when they had to face Paris Saint Germain. But usually looking for a goalkeeper will be easier than looking for players in other positions. I don't underestimate the goalkeeping position but it's always something I see teams that lose their goalkeeper. Maybe this is not too big of a problem for Bayern Munich, even though it is not desirable.

I don't expect Messi to be injured in the World Cup final where he will need more than a month to recover. Of course, injuries will have an impact on PSG's strength, especially in the attack line because so far the two mainstays of PSG, both Messi and Mbappe, are in their best performance. These two players are competing to become the top scorer or maybe the best player during the World Cup, each of them has scored 5 goals and the number is still likely to increase.

PSG's advantage is to have both of them in attack, which is great. And maybe Mbappe and Messi will clash in the final if France beat Morocco in the semi-finals. I really see Messi having a huge impact on Argentina's game and victory in the current World Cup, and so far Messi has been absolutely amazing.
Judging from his condition in yesterday's semi-finals it seems he was in pain when he held his hamstring, hopefully this isn't too dangerous for him, especially now, apart from the fact that they will face this final, they are also worried that it will have an impact on PSG.
On the other hand, I don't think things like this will bother Messi because this is not the first time he always pushes himself when talking about Argentina because some time ago, if I'm not mistaken, during the CMIIW qualifiers he also forced that which divided the fans with the Pros and Cons.
