The league title for PSG does not matter at this point. We all know that they are going to win the league title no matter what. Just look at this season. Even though it felt like something bad given some type of resistance at the start of the season, eventually PSG was the one to dominate this league. And now they are in the first position, again, with a points advantage that gives them breathing space.
I don’t think the situation of Lionel Messi is anything similar to Cristiano Ronaldo's. If you know Messi does end up, leaving PSG I think he is going to get a club and very soon. PSG are in the same situation with Manchester City now. They both have had really strong squads for years but none of them has reached any Champions League title anyway. This season is another opportunity for both of them as usual. But Manchester City are a few steps ahead of PSG now I'm afraid. It feels like PSG's hands will be empty once again.
