You're right, for now PSG has been inconsistent in their performance in league matches. But even so, they are still in first place in the standings. Whatever their performance, believe it or not you'll see them win the Ligue 1 this season.

That's right, what is my focus at the moment is the team that is competing with Paris Saint Germain, so far they have done very well by not allowing Paris Saint Germain to be able to win in their matches. Lol! So does it mean that in a particular league, a team with the best players must win every match? I don't think so. Rennes dominated in their last match against PSG even with the likes of Messi, and Neymar in the field do u know why? Overconfidence is the answer. PSG kept dominating in ball possession without a single shot on target throughout the first half, while on the other hand, Rennes made four attempts and all were on target. Tell me why they shouldn't win with such effort. Don't be surprised, Overconfidence is most times the downfall of most of the top team clubs with world-class players.

IMO, PSG do not have a strong challenger in this competition even though PSG got two defeats in the second half of this season. despite the fact, PSG still lead the top of Ligue 1 even though they are only three points away from the runner up, namely Lens.

in PSG's two defeats, for the first time I can understand it when PSG was humiliated by their opponent with a score of 3-1. because after all, the absence of Neymar and Messi greatly impacted the sharpness of their attack line. for the loss to Rennes, again I have to say. apparently, Galtier was overconfident with the rotations and formation experiments he was implementing. unfortunately, what Galtier expected was not what he expected.

If PSG keeps performing like that and im sure that another team like merseille will able to surpass PSG. three points were nothing if PSG will be having the same result as before. PSG seems so struggle with its performance. Messi, Mbappe and neymar were not able making the club to win easily against another team. I think that this gonna be a red flag for PSG caused by losing points meant PSG was giving more opportunity to the its competitor to be even closer.
Will psg able to win the current season? i doubt if PSG will make it but at least PSG has the biggest chance compared with another team.

I can't guarantee whether PSG can win Ligue 1 this season if they keep losing. And two defeats have narrowed their points gap with second-placed Lens in the table. 4 points gap is not too big. If PSG loses points like this in the upcoming matches, it will become more difficult for them to win the title. Galtier should tighten up his defense more. PSG's midfield and attacking performances are quite good but their defense is very weak.

PSG's defeat to Rennes was humiliating, and it has made his coach furious. I don't know what the internal problems between the players were so he also touched on those issues in his comments. But defeats like this are always natural when the opposing team plays defensively throughout the game. 2 defeats in the last 5 meetings have made PSG lose 6 points than they should.

PSG has got so many critics after it was losing against rennes. The problem is even with world class trio but the team was not able to beat rennes.
