This season seems a bit difficult, but PSG are a reliable team. I know they had 2 losses, but there shouldn't be many who would doubt the ability of the players. The next 17 matches will be a challenge for PSG, meanwhile I doubt Lens and the other rivals will always be consistent about their form.

PSG's defeat to Rennes was humiliating, and it has made his coach furious. I don't know what the internal problems between the players were so he also touched on those issues in his comments. But defeats like this are always natural when the opposing team plays defensively throughout the game. 2 defeats in the last 5 meetings have made PSG lose 6 points than they should.

It's seems psg players are totally out of focus especially after the world cup break, they wasted many points that could make them regret if they don't recover their real level especially because they will have a very important match against Bayern munchen next month
PSG has got so many critics after it was losing against rennes. The problem is even with world class trio but the team was not able to beat rennes. That proves that world class player was not anything for sure. People were seeing those trio as everything right now while the fact that if those trie were the same like another ordinary players. PSG can also be beaten by the team like rennes. PSG needs to solve the problem on its defenders. It seems like that PSG's defenders were not strong enough. After the recent results PSG got I also started to think about whether we can see a solid competition for the league championship. The gap with Lens and Marseille isn't big now. Considering the latest results in the league these two seem to be really eager to be in this fight. Marseille seem more competitive about it actually because they are still on a long running winning streak. Lens could have even taken the lead if they didn't lose points against Nice and Strasbourg. But even their beating PSG was a good proof of their intention in this season.

Ligue 1 seems to have been monopolized by PSG. they are too strong for any other team if they want to always win by big goals. sometimes they can lose, but that can still be tolerated in League matches. Marseille is also a good competitor for PSG. last season they stuck to PSG well, but in the end, PSG still didn't catch up. it will be difficult for a French club to match PSG's strength if it doesn't have wealth like PSG.

I don't think like you. PSG is undoubtedly a strong team. But I can't accept that they have no rival. PSG is only 4 points behind the second-placed team in the table. PSG are likely to lose the top spot in the table if they fail to perform consistently well. They have lost 2 of their last 3 matches. Their performance needs further improvement.
It's impossible for PSG not to have rivals in Ligue 1, but you will keep hearing such assumptions because PSG is the single biggest team in France by financial strength. I don't agree either, but that's how some people think about PSG.I watched PSG's performance in the 2020-21 season. PSG had a strong squad. Even then they could not win the title. They were 1 point behind Lille at the top of the table. If PSG can't get back on track this season too, they will lose the top spot in the table.
PSG can loss points at any time during the competition, and the fact is that PSG have lost 6 points from their last 5 matches where Rennes and Lens are the two teams that beat them recently. Sometimes people are just cynical, but PSG are the dominant one.

The French league is becoming Interesting this season because some teams are trying their best to meet PSG position. If Lens succeed in taking PSG position it will look somehow because PSG has 3 best players that by right the first is supposed to occupied and maintained by PSG.
It's been looking interesting for the French League this season, but PSG still has a chance to maintain its position at the top of the standings by keeping itself from losing and drawing more in the remaining matches this season. And PSG also have to win often for this reason because their rivals this season will definitely continue to try to get rid of PSG from the top of the standings, especially if the points are not too far apart as seen now in the temporary standings.Even though in the end it remains the same in terms of results, I would enjoy it if there were several teams that could match PSG in terms of competition because this indicated that other teams could still compete even if PSG were dominated by great players.

We are not sure if PSG will win against Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is one of the strongest clubs in the Champions League. PSG are very strong but a win against Bayern Munich is challenging for any team. The win won't be easy for PSG. But it is not impossible.
Galtier continues to try to stabilize the PSG squad. Even then he could not succeed. There are many star players in the team. And strengthening the bonds between the star players has become Galtier's most difficult task. For now PSG is not reliable, this team has all it takes to win any match but we see the reverse being the case always dashing the hope of their fans, french senior league is becoming had for PSG as a team because the teams that are seen as a work over for them is no more soft as been perceived by spectators, with the number of world quality players in PSG ordinary is suppose to keep them ahead of any club in their league. Lets hope to see them winning in coming days.
With PSG's current performance it is very difficult to defend the Ligue 1 title, especially since the teams under it now have a close distance to PSG. I can't guarantee whether PSG can win Ligue 1 this season if they keep losing. It really needs a stable victory if you don't want to be overtaken by other teams in the top 4 and that is homework for coach Christophe Galtier and his team.

But from the look of things in terms or quality and financial strength, I feel no team might be able to unseat the current champions. We saw them outplaying Angers, which is a clear indication that they are still the number one in France.

I have no confidence in PSG's performance. They lost in Ligue 1 against Lens and Rennes. And for them it was very necessary to win both these matches. They failed to win. However, they did not have a full strength squad in both the matches. However, I would say that the Ligue 1 title is becoming increasingly difficult for PSG now that they have dropped points in these two matches. Losing more points in the upcoming matches will make it challenging for them to win the title.
I'm also not sure that PSG will lose again in the next match, because apart from that PSG is the strongest team in Ligue1. PSG itself still has the best players with a very perfect squad even though they lost to the two teams you mentioned. PSG is not a weak team. But their performance is not stable. I saw PSG's performance in the Champions League. They played very well. However, their performance has deteriorated after the World Cup break. I don't know why PSG's performance has deteriorated so much despite having three of the best players in the World Cup, Messi, Mbappe and Neymar in attack. Some clubs have been trying to improve their performance like rennes and lens. Both of clubs were able defeating PSG. It seems like that PSG must be careaful caused by those teams were able surpassing PSG anytime. PSG must also try to make its defend become even more sustainable caused by PSG was losing a few times against rennes and lens. PSG shall have learned from the result against those teams.
So far the team that has just beaten Lens is Lille, but the teams that have managed to beat PSG are Rennes and Lens, which means there is a big chance for Lens to continue closer to PSG. because currently the difference in points between Lens and PSG is only 3 points, the confidence of Lens players must be very large. next, Lens will face Troyes while PSG face Reims, if PSG loses this match then their hopes of becoming the Ligue 1 champion this season are getting smaller.

I think PSG will still able to maintain their mentally although they lose from Lens and Rennes because last season too PSG also has been defeated several times but at the end of season PSG can managed their performance and finish at first position and after this losses too i think PSG will bounce back and will gets another winning results but my questions is for their contender that can they will be able to playing consistent until end of this season or not because although Rennes and Lens can able to beat PSG but while against other teams sometimes they losing points even against small teams and in my opinion although probably we will see another losses from PSG for their upcoming matches but they will still be champion
No doubt with PSG capacity Ligue 1 due having several star players composition in their squad, but I remember at Ligue 1 season 2020/2021 where Lille success broke the record from PSG after success becoming the winner at the end season with 1 points left. Current standing and remaining 4 points left from Lens, I don't think Ligue 1 tittle will secure by PSG for this season.Get twice loss at Ligue 1 in a row seems have serious problem with PSG although last match defeated by Rennes Lionel Messi have return back and filled starting eleven. I don't think so. Those PSG players who have been performing during the world cup have gotten enough time to take a rest even messi was not playing at the match against lens. How is it possible for them out of focus due to the world cup break? it must be the opposite thing when they were getting back their stamina again after the long holiday. I think that the problem shall be on the player himself. It's caused by they have been losing capability to win the game. PSG has been losing 6 points which is very important. These points were able making PSG to be even further from its opponents. Im thinking about PSG's coach will try to do some rotations to get another good formation again.

Losing to the 2 clubs at the top of the standings seems to make PSG a little frustrated, because now the difference in points from these clubs is getting smaller and it is inevitable if in a few matches later the club can overtake PSG at the top of the standings. Lens, Rennes, Marseille and Monaco are clubs who are currently experiencing very good form and all could still have a chance to win Ligue 1 if PSG continue to experience poor results.Jump to:
